Overall I am really pleased with my house. However, there were many ups and downs during the buying and building process which I am sure are true with all homes. My lesson learned is to really stay engaged and on top of everything and be your own advocate throughout the building process.

This builder doesn't take the greatest of care in building their homes. When I moved in the house had paint/caulk/drywall on the wood floors, backsplash, windows, etc. There are still cigarette butts in my backyard as well as other debris was left. This is obviously everything I can see. I'm hoping more care was taken behind the walls

Although our home was built very quickly, there was an obvious push to close at the end of 2021 before the new year even though both sides agreed there were numerous items not complete. After much discussion, we were told we had to close or pay a fine/lose the contract. Finally, after they considered it further, they agreed to push the closing out a week to complete most of the items.

We found fit and finish to be very poor. Especially paint and plumbing. They gave the impression they were protecting the wood flooring during construction, but it had a multitude of finish removing physical scars when we closed.

The sales and field manager are great. I am very happy to have this beautiful new home. The community is very beautiful. The people who live here are very friendly. Some work inside of the house are rough. You can see the holes and stains here or there. A microwave is still back order. Not sure when will it come in. One garage remote doesn’t work. I reported these problems to the field manager but he is working in a new location, nobody has come fix these problems

Good experience. We communicated via text and communication was good and timely. We like this community and the concept which Del Webb developed. Lots to do and a good place to downsize. Safe and secure!

This is a great community and well built homes that you will be happy with.

Explained what was going on and keeping me updated. Very accessible to answer questions. Good follow up.

They are masters at this!

While we are really enjoying and loving the Del Webb community unfortunately the home building experience was less than desirable. Structurally we have a well built home but the quality of finishing materials and workmanship was so subpar that it made the entire experience stressful and unpleasant. When you are paying top dollar pricing you expect to receive top quality and unfortunately that was not the case. The line “this is not a custom build home” was used way too much and frankly I suggest you all come up with an alternative reason for workmanship that is not in line with the price of the homes. I should have taken pictures during my pre-drywall walkthrough. Would have been helpful to document how my home was wired. Throughout my life, (aside from Del Webb) I’ve experienced four new home builders—after each I’d promise myself ‘never again!’ But Del Webb was uniquely different, except for a lack of full disclosure on the part of sales/agent, this build process was an improvement!!

The employees have been friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed working with the Pulte PM/superintendent.

Everything as far as the buying process and all the way up to closing was great. Everyone was super nice. I think after we closed a couple issues came up. We have now lived here 5 weeks and we haven’t had an oven that works. I have been through the warranty department and everything but have not gotten anything resolved yet. Still no oven. I also think that when they pressure wash your sidewalk and driveway that they should do the curb and sidewalk in front of the house. My sidewalk and driveway are clean but the curb and sidewalk in front of the house looks like red clay. If I want it cleaned I’m going to have to do it myself. ... More

My Lake Oconee building experience went very smooth and the home was completed within the original time line. The Sales & Builder Professionals were always great to work with !

We had a wonderful experience with Pulte/Del Webb-Lake Oconee; from start to finish! From the moment i requested a tour; to meeting Jenna & working with her throughout the whole buying/building process; to meeting/working with Daniel, in the building process; to working with Pulte Financial; all these people have been so helpful, knowledgable, great communicators, friendly, courteous, kind & i just cant say enough about all of them! Pulte is VERY lucky to have these people on their team and representing the company- GREAT JOB!!

Communication,And willingness Of sales agent and construction superintendent to resolve issues In a timely manner. The building process was efficient and timely. However the closing was a nightmare

Builder was responsive and good with communications and resolving issues.

Homes sales agent did not give good info, did not return messages, gave preference to other purchases who bought after us. Design studio staff was great! New construction manager struggled. Had we not been onsite every few days the build would have been bad. Crafts are not supervised. Obvious the better craftsmen are working on the most expensive homes.

They are friendly and responsive to my questions and concerns.

Lack communication from our first foreman on the job. He would give u lip service. We love the area and our new home, now that we have moved in.

We previously had a John Wieland home by Pulte Homes, and were very satisfied with that experience. We wanted to build our retirement home and decided to go again with Pulte Homes. We decided to build at their Del Webb at Lake Oconee location, in Greensboro, GA. I grew up on a lake as a child, and wanted to have the same experience, and the added benefits and lifestyle was a plus ... to stay active. Our entire experience with the salespeople, Field Manager and Warrany Manager has been fantastic, and would recommend it to anyone.

Niki was a great help. We’ve been here for two months now and the French Doors have never been installed. They arrived yesterday and were supposed to have been built in the house. The dishwasher was here but never installed. So many issues!

Six weeks after purchase and the lunch lists till isn’t finished.
