At the beginning we were excited and confident. During the meeting at Design Center we realized some loopholes in the process. Complete misinformed and disappointed during the building process. The quality of painting, floor, garage door and others are very low. The team from Design Center do a poor job. Many things are not fixed after signing the closing documents. Very disappointed.

Problems after move in

Right after move we found 1. front door lock was broken, 2. Furnace was not connected to gas pipe - heat was not working, found millions of ants that was eradicated at my expense, garage door was not going down - fixed at my expense, found spilled concrete on front hallway, entire driveway was not forced sprayed (clean) as others, found front lawn in very dried state including small tree was dying - very few leaves also the rest of grass around the house was very dried and brown. The craftsmanship of the work on our home was poor. No attention to detail at all. There were slow to respond to various concerns that we had during the building process, we felt a bit rushed to sign the “satisfactory agreement “ so we could close. The sales person did not disclose options there were available for our new home and we did not find out about several options until other homes in our neighborhood had them. We just expected more from Del Webb.

Community and neighbors are very good. Highly reccomend this location and facilities. Most residents I have spoken with are happy with the community but have horror stories relating to the build quality. A little more attention to detail in the interior finishes would yield the builder a totally different review. I hope the Del Webb brand is listening and raises their standards. House plan is very good. Finish work such as sheet rock, painting, tile are poor. The subcontractors Pulte hires are not held to any standards in the rush to get the house built and closed. The Pulte group is very difficult to work with. It does not matter what you, the customer, wants. The closing date that they gave us was not good for us but they refused to accommodate us. Everything is dictated to you and whether or not that works for you does not matter to them. They are not custom builders and the fact that they would not allow us to change the cable in the bedroom to the flex room made me think our house must be built by robots. So many issues in craftsmanship. Work not done right. Pulte rushed in building this home, no care taken in any of the installation and no quality control checks done. Complete disaster. Incorrect information given on design appointment. Not happy buyer.

Do not be pressured into closing (penalty clause in contract) until a complete, diligent, and systematic inspection is done by the builder. After a complete inspection by the builder, then do your punch list review. By no means should you be the quality control inspector in place of Pulte. You are paying them to do this. They don't pay you to do this. Secondly, do not be pressured with time constraints at the Design Office. Take as long as you require. It is your money! Also, when upgrading your design options you will not get the value of the standard option reduced from the upgrade cost. ...

The builder Pulte did a horrible job building this brand new home. I have a list of repairs and a basement leaking water. I hope to work with them on repairs but if. not, I definitely would never recommend this builder!

Lack of information with sales agent and poor workmanship in construction

I am so disappointed with Pulte. The salesman never advised me that there would be a rock drain installed on my property. I specifically told him i did not want to be near standing water due to mosquitoes. I closed with a promise that outstanding 10 issues would be corrected within 2 weeks. It is 2 months later and only 1 item has been completed. I have been shifted from person to person. Poor communication with Field Manager

Kitchen Sink and Laundry Sink were both installed at incorrect locations. Field Manager did not check on his sub contractors or this would not have happened. Closing walk thru we noticed no gutters on rear of house, had to tell Field Manager, when they installed the gutters they installed incorrect size had to re-install. Field Manager was a poor communicator only concern was to get home completed and move to next one. Paint and trim are very poor quality. Field Manager not concerned with quality.

Lack of follow up for move in issues

A number of items needed to be addressed after move in. We have had 2 Builders (superintendents) transferred out of this project. The lack of finish quality is a real disappointment. I am hoping the Del Webb (Pulte) follows up and corrects the problems. So far they have not become engaged.

My less than stellar home

This is a model home, which to me classifies as a new home. However, when I submit a request for service, Pulte people I deal with constantly remind of what do I expect, this home was built in 2014. Customer service is definitely lacking. If I had known this home has so many issues, I never would have purchased it. The painters took absolutely no care in their work. If it didn't move they painted over it. Paint on doorbell casing and paint over most switch and electrical outlets. Complete disrespect for the homeowner. what I would like new home buyers to know is that the workmanship is horrible. It seems that Pulte allows the builders to hire the most UNEXPERIENECED tradesmen there is. Subpar would be a understatement. Everyday I find something new that was either not done or done incorrectly, from the poor paint job to mismatched cabinet doors. Thing not working as they should, broken items that were poorly place back to seem to be correct until you touch them. All together, if I could get refund I would, I will NEVER recommend Pulte or Sun City, I am your cautionary tale.

You must hire your own Home Inspector because there are serious mistakes being made by builder in this subdivision that is serious. Pultegroup needs to make some big changes in construction quality as it is poor

Pulte as a construction group are a corporate profit only driven company. They cut corners at every turn and hire contractors and sub contractors at the lowest bid to save a buck. Their construction process and contractors do not care about quality workmanship (nor does Pulte). I used to work in home construction as a builder and contractor, so I know good and bad practices and workmanship when I see it. If it were not for the Del Webb community activities, there is no way we (my wife and I) would do business with or buy a home from Pulte.
