I backed out of a home, build and switched to a spec home that needed to close on with an attend a timeframe. The team did incredible job finishing up the house as quickly as possible to meet my deadline. I purchased the only home available to meet my immediate needs. I do not have a full experience to share about the building process and sales process.

Overall I am very happy with my home and experience with Dell Webb. As for workmanship, the subcontractors in my experience were careless in their care of my house during construction. For example, when the flooring had been installed, it was not completely covered and workmen walked in and out without removing or covering their shoes, tracking dirt onto the carpet and risking scratching the hard surface flooring. The subs that installed the tile in the master bathroom shower did not cover the vinyl floor, resulting in grout dropped on the hard vinyl flooring. Although the grout was ...

Sales experience was great. I’ve worked with Pulte in my previous life as a realtor in California and one thing I have noticed is the quality of sub contractors in Indiana doesn’t match what I was use to in California.

Pleased with every step except for one. I closed in August and zi still do not have keys for my home. The installer of the Doors (84 Lumber) has been totally incompetent and unprofessional. Dell/Webb should not use this Contractor - I will be hiring a Locksmith and sending the Bill to Dell/Webb for payment. This issue has caused us much stress. If we leave our home and there is a Power Failure we would be unable to get into our house

We love our home. Things aren't perfect, but I know with some of the policies in place, things will be made right. I like our field manager, but I know he has more than just my house to deal with too.

Steve in Sales was great to work with, very knowledgeable. You really need to consider the overall cost of what to add in upfront versus doing it later. Moving into a new home has enough worries with just moving, downsizing, gleaning out stuff you should have gotten rid of before. Things happen fast in construction and its exciting to watch it go up. We like our field manager too, Dale. We love the warranties we have, just makes us feel that once you move in, you are not forgotten. Makes me think Pulte stands behind their work. It was a good experience and the company met all the deadlines. The only challenge that I have had is that the electric company placed the electric line through the sewer line. The result was that the home flooded when I ran the dishwasher, washer and shower together. The company response was immediate and thorough. Currently in the repair process and pulte has paid for everything and promised to make my home exactly as it was when I moved in.

Been in home for 2 months, finding little things that sub-contractors shortcut, covered over or ignored. Believe they took advantage of new to the business construction manager. Fortunately so far, I have been able to fix or repair items w/o much, if any, cost.

Attention to detail is impressive as is communication and responsiveness during construction. Upgrades and options are pricey but worth the expense if they meet your needs. Quality of bathroom fixtures disappointing.

The Sales person was very helpful. The field manager always called to tell us what phase of the building was in and when to expect what the next step will be. Will be glad when we can get the yard and landscaping in. Our suggestion is to new home buyers, is to get the taller bathroom vanities, and the comfort highth toilets.

Pulte is a great builder. Quality is good. Responsiveness to issues is very poor. Need quicker response to homeowner concerns. The response to issues in two weeks prior to the closing was excellent and the closing was done as scheduled. Response prior to the two weeks prior to closing was poor and has been zero after closing. Need better personnel to attend to homeowner concerns after closing.

For the most part working with Pulte was a good experience. However, we were never informed about the location of support posts in our finished basement. Now there is a post/column 3 feet from the center of the stairs. Very poor planning and very unattractive and the people we’ve talked to say it would have been easy to move this post a few feet away. At closing we agreed that there were 5/6 issues that still needed attention: 1. Our contract states the the cold air vent which is high up in the entryway would be moved down closer to the floor. 2. The screens in several windows do not fit ...

When we moved into our house, we were angry and sad. We would have moved out, but our former home was sold. The craftsmanship was very sloppy! I would not recommend Pulte to my friends.
