The home is decent, and we do not regret the purchase. However, the customer care manager has been abysmal. The house does have issues that warrant addressing; paying 400k for a new house and the dishwasher break, large cracks in cabinets, and sinks not working within the first month is not pleasant -- but the lack of care from the customer care manager is truly disappointing. There is a clear feeling that they do not want to deal with us now that the money has been paid. This is disappointing, to say the least. Wish I was helped more during the building process

When we picked out our counters and carpeting it was so rushed I couldn’t think. I wanted quartz countertops and only got them in the kitchen. The bathrooms are granite which I have never liked. I thought they were going to be quartz. She told me the carpet with the pad would be nice and I’m not happy at all. Painting quality is bad. Mantel is way too high. I like the layout of the home.

As we’ve learned from other Pulte built homes, you buy for the community, not for the workmanship as it seems to definitely lack in a Pulte built home.

As with most new construction problems are on going prior to closing and continue following that date. However, a rating of “10” from us to sign off at closing was expected. We were far from satisfied with a finished product at that time, but simply wanted to complete that phase of closing. We felt considerable pressure to rate the completed project too high at that time.

Polite and professional.... punch list was minimal because of his attention to detail. Once item was submitted for warranty there was immediate response and scheduled on one call. I know that Pulte is a good Builder and has very good people....thanks.

Love our home. The Floorplan is beautiful. There were issues in the final stages but most were addressed. It was after closing when we found a few other issues missed by us and our inspector. We are still trying to contact them to see how we can rectify the situation.

Pulte really goes the extra mile to help you with all decisions from picking your lot to the final walk through. Each person I worked with was great! If you're looking for quality, ease of purchase and wonderful people to work with, I highly recommend Pulte.

Pulte is a great builder. Quality is good. Responsiveness to issues is very poor. Need quicker response to homeowner concerns. The response to issues in two weeks prior to the closing was excellent and the closing was done as scheduled. Response prior to the two weeks prior to closing was poor and has been zero after closing. Need better personnel to attend to homeowner concerns after closing.

I m disabled the sales man knew that. He never orderd me or have put in for disabled person in my i asked for wide dooes wide frint door and french dooes ro the patio. I never met with the dwsign team he or the contractor followed the book i did not got whar I asked for. We were able to select from a variety of homes, sites, and floor plans. However the completion/closing was delayed 3 weeks and the bldg, supervisor told us 1 hour before closing appt he would "personally" stay to complete the 6 minor items still outstanding on the walk through, It is now 45 days later, he has emailed 5 times that be would be over to finish up and has never shown up. This has been a big spoiler to our experience with Pulte, and having checked with many new neighbors this has been their experience as well.

Buying experience was fine, but getting items repaired after closing is way too difficult. Not very responsive in addressing concerns, so please do not be in a rush to close ... get every issue short of a drywall nail pop addressed prior to closing as this is when they're most responsive.

In a 55+ community, one would think all possible lines of communication would be available, especially, simple traditional phone conversations for those who are technically challenged and will not use a WIFI system. Unfortunately, the younger contractors and managers think that emails and video conferences should be the standard method of contact and have not yet understood their customers. Also, planning and schedules should be communicated and prioritized. The retired have the time to monitor and highly expect the agreements for timing to be maintained.

Responsiveness to address numerous issues pointed out prior to closing has been horrible. Damaged items, drywall repair not completed and final painting. We have raised issues to numerous parties with no response. They seem to accept less than perfect if you "can't see it" or if they can get by with it.

They sell you a home, tell you the name of your project manager who is supposed to watch over your home, but no one communicates. Sub contractors have no authority over what they are given to work with. Whatever wood they are given they put it up even if it is not good wood. 31 studs had to be replaced. Painters paint over muddying errors. Project managers order things for your home build and other managers steal them. To me this is not good work ethics. My experience with Del Webb was really astonishing. It was beyond expectations. From the start of the sales process, picking everything out which was easily done on the computer with my salesman, to the build phase and finally closing, things were completed on time, on budget and with a close eye to quality. I originally looked at a custom builder for $1.6M, but with Del Webb got a beautiful house with similar SF and finishes at a much more reasonable price. While I believe the Del Webb social aspects of the community will be a positive if I can ever get beyond trying to fix all the issues with the house, the building process with Pulte has been extremely stressful, challenging and disappointing for the cost of the build. The Del Webb neighborhood concept is excellent, and now that the neighborhood is about 40 complete, the actual layout, common areas, etc. are well done. The homebuilding experience itself was disappointing. Many problems and quality concerns were not addressed until the day before closing and then were rushed through and not fully addressed. 6 weeks after closing, most of those issues still have not been addressed or corrected.

Overall I am very happy with my home and experience with Dell Webb. As for workmanship, the subcontractors in my experience were careless in their care of my house during construction. For example, when the flooring had been installed, it was not completely covered and workmen walked in and out without removing or covering their shoes, tracking dirt onto the carpet and risking scratching the hard surface flooring.
