Great community, nice home but less than adequate customer service

We are pleased with our home and the quality of the workmanship. The Project Manager has been excellent with his follow up. However, with any new home there will be issues that need to be addressed. The "customer service" contact person is less than adequate and does as little as possible to address your concerns.

I am very conflicted about my new home at Kimblewick. I’m very pleased with the house and community. I won’t complain about minor issues, but one that goes against Pulte policy. That is planting a very large tree( it will grow to 40 or 50 feet) 5 ft in front of my house. It will have to be cut down at great expense in the future. I offered to move it but was denied. Please respond to this as my request is ignored. Thank you. Sue Hughes

The Sales Person Kevin was not helpful in the least. Once he had our downpayment never heard from him again. I am glad that portion of the experience is over with. Overall, the wife and I are enjoying our new home.

Your salespeople were great. I felt the clean up people did a bad job also little things like hardware left off doors touch up painting bad. Electrical outlets covered over with drywall. Things left undone for a home this price should not happen

Since the price was locked at contract-signing, but the house took another 10 months to build out and complete, the value went up, but only because of the general housing shortage amid unprecedented national consumer demand. Disappointed! Things were not completed by my closing date of March 18,2022 and they knew I had to close by that date. And I signed the contract on May 8,2021 !! Still waiting for completion and backordered Whirlpool appliances!!

My new house is beautiful but I needed to do quite a bit of upgrading to get the look I wanted. The general selections I found to be very limiting. My family and I were also extremely upset that used appliances were placed in my home during a global pandemic because mine were not in at the time of my closing. I never used any of them. Well, we continue to find things that we believe should not be as that’s not what we paid for. While we do get a response to resolve the issue (not always convenient for us) it’s just seems like lot of issues for a new build.

We have been in our new home a little over a month now and there are still things that are not complete. I one major thing is our lawn is not in. We lawn services that need to be done , but can not until the final grade is finished to the yard. There is still trash all over the yard and it look bad.

I have been in the house for five weeks and no one has fixed the items that needed attention. The sod was finally laid down but needs to be finished. We still have kitchen doors that need adjusting. Some 0ther items need attention. I do not have the name or contact information for the person who can make this happen. This is very frustrating.

I'll put the ending first - now that we are settled in our home, we are very happy. The community is wonderful because the people who live here are wonderful. And we like our home. The experience of having the home built was fraught with issues and disappointments. At one point there was no progress on our home for over two months, which delayed our opening and caused us to have to extend our rentals. The purchase process is very smooth and efficient. The construction process moves along quickly but communications throughout the process is terrible. We knew very little throughout process and when we tried to communicate concerns or special needs we were ignored. Also care for property is not much of a concern during construction. Our hardwood floors were installed early on and not covered. We spent days cleaning them and now have 30 plus boards that must be replaced.

Pulte was not up front about the lot I was building on. I ended up with a driveway that is way too steep for a handicapped person or any older person to navigate safely.
