Unfortunately although we ended up with a very good field manager and a good sales person, the overall experience was much more stressful, than any of our other building experiences. This was not due to back-ordered supplies. That was to be expected. It was poor craftsmanship, lack of communication, lack of follow-up, and months after closing still waiting on work to be completed. Our advice would be to never close until all of the mandatory work is done because once you are turned over to Customer Care, you get lost in a vacuum and all you have is email which can easily be disregarded. ...

Great floor plan! While there were definitely good people and good things involved in this home buying experience, there was also just as much pain, sloppiness, and disappointment. Definitely hiccups in the building and post-COE processes, and I ended up being the loser most times. Now 7 weeks after COE, and I'm still struggling to get my COE punch-list completed. Find another builder. Workmanship on these homes is of poor quality. Communication about the building of your home is non-exsistent. Once you make your down payment you are at their mercy. Do not buy a home from this company!

Salesman charming to get the sale; unresponsive post signing contract. Field managers come and go: incredible delays in construction. Be sure to have own private inspection pre close to find construction flaws I.e. roof, biological growth, furnace & plumbing issues. Post closing, no one is responsive in a timely manner to the issue listed at walk through just before closing. Be willing to hold firm and hold company ro accountability, make no assumptions.

we were told we would receive kohler or american standard plumbing fixtures because that is what pulte uses however we received an inferior brand gerber, we have had 4 stopped toilets in the first month, plumber said they would come check them. gave builder a checklist at closing very little has been done. closed at thanksgiving then left after christmas.so that is a busy time for subs. good follow up with calls we will see what happens, fit and finish not great hopefully everything will be corrected, floating floor is different, sounds hollow, this is our tenth new home and so far the ...

I have built other homes with other builders in the past. This has been a terrible experience. Lack of communication. Lack of follow through. Empty promises. Could not keep to schedule. Long list of punch list items still not addressed and we closed on our new home 5 weeks ago. I do not recommend Pulte. Find another builder!

The builder poured the concrete slab wrong. After three weeks of trying to tell my field manager that through text, email, and voice messages, I finally found out the field manager had quit. After some time I got someone else to tell me they “identified the problem” but offered no plan to fix it. Even though I asked specific questions about reinforcing with rebar and using an expansion joint after they would jackhammer the concrete, I never got a direct answer if it would be done. I was buying a model home "as is". Pulte asked to move up the closing and close in 2 weeks (6 weeks earlier than scheduled)which I did. The day before closing my realtor did a walk thru and noted the items to be addressed that were not considered "as is". This was a model home that had a sales office in the garage. After closing I went to the house to find nothing that was noted the day prior had been completed.
