The base price of the home is far lower than your final price is going to be because of so many options available with better quality finishes that you will select to improve the quality of the unit you are buying. In addition to the options, there are more fees to pay for land or floor choice if a condo. You will also pay for garage space if it's a condo that add significantly to the cost. You may pay 30% or more of the base price.

Home buying experience was very good. Sales and building teams kept us informed throughout the entire process. However, given the premium price of the condo units, the craftsmanship and quality of the materials used is just adequate even with upgrades. Customer Care Manager is fantastic. However, getting replacement items under warranty takes a long time. A couple of obvious defects should have been addressed before the sale date.

From initial visit to the sales office , new construction, through two months of actual living here my experience has been excellent . The personnel at all levels…. Sales people though construction contacts through law firm for closing through person doing warranty work …… all very professional and helpful and knowledgeable. Great communication has bern a highlight as well as timely responses. I once saw a placard that said complexity is the mark of mediocrity, but simplicity is the mark of genius. Researching and engaging in the community has it's benefits. The pool and clubhouse and all it's ammenities surpasses any other over 55 community I've looked at.

Met with the builder and was impressed by how the homes are built. Joe does a great job keeping up with the requests for service.

I’ve found many cases where painters left paint brush streaks, paint bubbles, dried drips and paint buildup; cases where nailheads are showing on drywall, where floor tiles are not square with walls, gaps in floor molding mitre joints, uneven endcuts on floor molding. Cheap appliances.

For the price of half a million dollars, they put in poor quality appliances. Oven hasn't worked for half of the time, ceiling lights have tripped breakers as well as the oven. Doorbell replaced. NO sound deadening between floors. Chrome fixtures mixed with nickel. Light bulbs flicker and die within one month. Lowest grade of master shower enclosure, no ledge for shaving legs, had to put a stool in there. Difficulty knowing who to contact when you have an issue. They suggest an email to use. No help in guiding us through all the registration procedures for appliances and HVAC units. Nails have popped out of sheetrock. No clear guidance on who to contact about each problem: Pulte or Dartmouth. We are disappointed. ... More

There seems to be an issue with the GFI breakers. Ovens always shut off. Light bulbs continue to flicker. When it’s windy outside it sounds like a wind tunnel in my unit. The flooring is cheap. There is a squeaking noise in front of my pantry. There is small area on my master bathroom vanity that is peeling. Some areas of grout on the master is not even with the tile.

Our Del Webb condo is perfect for this new page in our lives. We chose Del Webb because they have a good reputation as quality builders. Our condo is no exception. Any small issue we had was dealt with promptly & professionally.

Environment beautiful.Building very well organized.Unit designed suitable for people a little bit older!

We love our new home by Pulte. In general we are very happy. There are some small issues eg: paint chips, finish work. I am assured these touch ups will be taken care of at our 11 month warranty. We did have a leak that was addressed immediately and are very happy with the quick response and repair work.

Del Webb provides a beautiful community here in Westborough. The quality of the appliances is builder grade unless you upgrade.

I’ve been here now for a little bit over a month and have discovered a few things that I didn’t realize before I purchased my unit. All but one of the sinks in my unit were designed for ADA compliance. This meant that there was no bottom to the sink it went straight to the floor. So I had to pay a workmen $360 to make a shelf under the sink and install it. Personally, I believe that Del Webb Chauncy Lake should have designed the sink so The bottom of the cabinet could be unscrewed and removed for compliance with ADA regulations. I also found out that the oven that was to be in my unit was not the same oven that I was told I would get. The following are notifications of the various models numbers that were changed and changed back: “We had supply chain issues in the past which resulted in us needing to change our Whirlpool range offerings. In short, we are now back to the original Whirlpool range: Model #WFE550S0LZ. We were originally offering Model #WFE550S0LZ then switched to Model WFE775HOHZ to help us get through the supply issues and are now back to WFE550S0LZ. ” A week later, I received another update for the oven, ” We’re sending an updated email regarding your Whirlpool range. The range that you will be getting is WFES3530RS. This range replaces the WFE525S0JS model. Please see the attached documents to compare the key features.” Essentially, the model i received is a very basic model and did not include air fryer or preheating and other features.Needless to say, I was very disappointed in the replacement.” One of the toilets in my unit rocked and was generating a small leak. The Chauncy Lake team was quick to respond to this issue however, I asked that since the toilet had to be uplifted and a new ring inserted could I have a comfort toilet instead of the 15 inch Standard one. They said yes no problem however I was asked to pay $840 for the replacement. I considered this unreasonable. I don’t really know how much a toilet plus labor would cost, but I don’t think it would be $840. The charge came from the contracted plumbers and not Chauncy Lake. I still have some confusion about air filters and will get with the appropriate people to find out more details. Other than these issues, I find that Del Webb Chauncy Lake is the kindest and most considerate community that I have lived in in a long time. My neighbors are friendly and helpful and enjoy each other. It’s not unusual to find a group out front or on benches outside talking with each other.. From the first time we saw a model unit until the day we received our keys, the Del Webb team was amazing. Letting us get comfortable with the idea (we had been in our home for 37 years), explaining the process, timing, decisions, and even just letting us visit the model over and over again, we’re just a few highlights of our experience.

Exceptional experience with the DelWeb Construction Crew before I Closed on my Condo. The first sales rep was great. Kept us current on progress and showed interest in our excitement on buying the place.Then we experienced some pain with lack of information for a while with the replacement sales rep. The pricing for the UPGRADES is OUTRAGEOUS AND THE QUALITY OF THE UPGRADED APPLIANCES,etc has a LOT TO BE DESIRED. Not worth the price, period.

The fact that we could not view the condominium during construction was a bit frustrating, but overall the experience was satisfactory.

I have a problem with the low quality appliances and after purchase issues that I am not able to resolve because I cannot get anyone to call me back. Emailing doesn't work, and there are no telephone numbers to call. I am quite disappointed with the after purchase experience although the builders are still as helpful as they can be and go out of their way to try to help even though their job has long been over.
