Very poor workmanship on finishing work. Grout color is different throughout the house. Tile in Owner's bath is crooked and cracked. A cabinet in the kitchen is crooked. Front door and garage door not fully painted. Baseboards look like they are used. As of today, we have received "lip service" that everything will be fixed. The trades are scheduled to come May 24 & 25 to address these major issues. Time will tell if our home will be "a quality build."

The entire buying and closing experience was smooth from beginning to end. Everyone involved was professional and responsive, making the entire process a easy experience.

Sean was fantastic during the home buying experience and Matt has been incredible as our house project manager. Both were super responsive whenever we had any questions or issues.

Our original plan was to buy a home in St George, after making a trip to Mesquite there was no question where we wanted to live, we picked out our home that same day. We are so grateful for the help from Tanya Smith at the sales center, we did most everything by email, and phone calls from Salt Lake for almost 2 months, without her professionalism we probably wouldn’t be here today. She provided us with names and numbers for all of the contractors needed to complete our move in. The contractors provided to us were amazing. Blue Lee was also exceptional, our phone calls and answers were always taken care of at a very courteous, and respectful way, some days I felt like a real pest. Pulte homes wants you to use their own mortgage, title and home owners insurance, the title company is high on closing costs, the insurance gave us a quote that would not even cover the cost to rebuild the home, the sales agents are not working for home buyers, they 100 percent represent the builder, make sure you have a legal expert look over the contract before buying, watch the upgrades, the upgrades are over priced and they claim a upgrade on something. Others would consider standard, make sure you take pictures on final walk through and look at every corner, wall, moldings, plumbing, fixtures and cabinets, also more people gave electric dryers, pulte only installed hook up for gas dryers, electric not an option, if buying in a del Webb community with pulte homes, just do your homework and be ready to know they will tell you something and change it later, the community is great, the home building experience, not so great.. ... I have been looking at the Dell Webb home in North Las Vegas for well over a year and I decided to finally purchase one. I purchased it over the phone and also picked out the upgrades from the design center over the phone. I wish I had the opportunity to be here personally to walk to the models before I selected my mother but overall I’m very happy with my purchase. It’s a nice home, and the neighbors are excellent.

On the surface, the homes look great. But I never thought one could miss 6 pages of specifications in the contract and get the kitchen wrong. They built the wrong island and missed several electrical upgrades. In their haste to correct the misses, they butchered the pavers in the driveway tracking out joint compound and other stuff that we're still waiting to be cleaned up - promised to be done prior to closing. The warranty folks in Las Vegas say that Pulte laid off all but one manager, so that's why three months after closing, we're still waiting for punchlist items to be corrected. Forget the warranty work. Still waiting on most of that. Sadly, my neighbors have the same experience and I doubt Pulte will allow this review to be posted. We dealt with a salesperson at the Del Webb North Ranch named Wister. This individual was impeccable and the reason we did purchase our home. He went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was pleasant. We only wish we would had come to North Ranch and dealt with Wister directly. Instead we had an outside realtor in-between and they were terrible.

I think because there are so many house's being built at the same time some items seem to be lacking. As I have stated in the title above, because of the time frame there is to do the work the finish work was a little off. So much pressure to get things done fast, the care for detail was lacking a bit. Now that being said, it seems very much like they want to get the small things fixed (again, just not a lot of time) in a timely manner. Paul, our contract manager, was responsive during the build process.

Our experience started off great with Tanya, our sales person. She helped us get the lot we wanted and kept us informed throughout the building process. We loved the weekly updates with pictures that she sent. Our Project Manager, Dexter was awesome! He responded quickly to any calls and remedied issues immediately. In fact, due to his oversight, there weren’t many issues at all.

Had home ready on time, attention to details

The Guy (Scott) said he would be back in 30 days to fix any problem we had in the house and he never showed up after 30 days plus I asked him for a few extra tiles for the floor in which he said there was some there allready but there was NOT

Great Home except 30-Day warranty issues need to be addressed in a timely manner. Too long to verify and eventually execute fixes. I realize lots of homes being done now and Labor shortages contribute to this but Co. needs to increase Labor Force to take care of these issues. You pay half a million dollars for a home you should expect discrepancies to be fixed in a timely manner.

Built quickly without attention to detail.

We have an extensive list of reported problems and not one response from Pulte. Very disappointing.

Our experience has been excellent. The team at Del Webb has been on top of things since the beginning.

Our experience with this process was smooth and efficient. The build finished sooner than expected. There have been minor finish items that need attention. Though I'm confident these items will be resolved, it's taking longer than expected. Overall, the quality is excellent, but attention to some of the details is missing. I would absolutely and have recommended Pulte homes to family and friends.

Our new house in Sun City will be our second Del Webb home, and we are very pleased with the floor-plans and the attention to details that is included in Del Webb homes.

After you take possession of your new home a 800 number is provided for issues. The recording says allow up to 72 hours for a call back. And company that takes 72 hours to return a call should so re evaluate their business practice. When I did receive a call back the person was very unprofessional. Thank God my issues are minimal because I feel like I’m on my own.

We love our home! It seems like a great place to live in our retirement years.

I suggest renting in Sun City before you buy. For the transition and timing, we rented for six months before the sale closed. We learned a LOT in the rental about how things worked that we wish we had known when we were making the purchase decision. It all can be overwhelming, determining where to upgrade and where to wait, what kind of lot you'll really be OK with, etc. About two months into the rental we realized there were some things that we did not even know to do that would have made our new home experience significantly better. I'm focusing on what we learned. As for the rest of the experience, the low ratings have more to do with lack of communication, bad information at the beginning (marketing was great; reality was different), design center issues, financing issues (suggest you find your own mortgage company), title challenges, and on and on. If you are used to very high quality materials in your environment you may want to reconsider as you will probably need to upgrade everything after you build. If you are upgrading from a current home and excited to be in Mesquite and live a relaxed, golf cart centric lifestyle, then you are probably in the right place! ... More

We arrived at our home a few weeks after close. The master shower was not draining, so I emailed customer service. Within 1 hour a CS-maintenance person arrived to unclog--what turned out to be massive amounts of grout hardened. Customer service responsiveness was great; but, why didn't Construction Walk-Thru test all drains, appliances and running water?
