First and foremost, salesperson and home foreman were great and totally responsive, the same cannot be said of anyone else there...what was to take 6 months took 10, impossible to get any real timing or info, houses bought after us were done months before...GM basically said he has two years to build home and would be happy to let me out of my contract (um nooo since at that point they were charging $60,000 more for my house...) we are in now , finding some issues, but the warranty gentleman is awesome. BTW it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a phone number for Pulte/Del Webb corporate , not online, not ...

Ask for Tanya in the sales office. Ask for Ron as your building superintendent. Expect laborers to take no pride in workmanship and leave trash everywhere. Be VERY cautious when going to the design center. Their samples are not actual representations of what you will get in your home. Keep detailed records of all upgrades and ensure that they actually get placed into your home. Expect great service post closing date from Darryl.

Very poor craftsmanship of base board moldings and doors, nail holes not filled or sanded, caulking not smoothed or remove just painted over, very disappointed in finished detail work. Brand new house and I have to go over everything and repair it myself.

Look very closely at all aspects of the home--the little things. Check very carefully for insects. Paint issues, grout smears on tile, doors, drawers,and locks with keys. Don't assume everything works/is OK. The main gate is left open on the weekends. The other gate is never closed, and locked. So It's not really a gated comunity at this time like I assumed. Ergo, I had to purchase ADT--UGH!

The buying experience is good but after an hour walkthrough or turn over is not enough as you go thru each day, you’re finding more and more that should have been done or corrected before the turn over of the house. Each detail is a must to be inspected by each homebuyer based on their upgrade’s and quality Of materials and the way it was installed.

The closing company did not pay the Property Taxes, SID or HOA nearly 2 months after closing and only paid them after we relentlessly inquired. We were in fear of a Property lien. I would stay away from Del Web title company.

All in all it’s a satisfactory transition I moved here from Northern California to Mesquite the area is nice the people of been wonderful my only issue is is that with the Del Webb folks it takes a while for them to respond back to any issues that you have one that I experienced was my hot water heater I never heard back from anybody still working on it

The overall process was just average. I believe that the sales people underestimate the amount of upgrades that are really required to build a nice upscale home. Our specific sales rep was always on her day off or vacation. Once the house was completed we didn't even hear or see our rep. The quality of the build or upgrades is just not good especially considering the price. For example we upgraded to a glass french door for the office - the quality is horrible and it was very expensive. We've had several items that need to be repaired, fixed, etc. and getting them completed has been very ...

Site manager should stay involved for at least 60 day after move in. Developer in too much of a hurry to pass you on the the warranty division adding communications issues along the way

Blue responded to all my question and concerns immediately. My issues were with Paul in sales. Once I signed the purchase agreement and paid my downpayment he ghosted me. He misinformed me on several options and I am still waiting for a refund on a grab bar that was nor installed as it could not be installed where Paul said it could be. I have reached out to him twice now on what the status of that refund is and as usual have not heard a word back. I reached out to the head of sales here at sun city, Mesquite a couple of days ago and have not heard back form him yet as well.

Pulte people made our home buying experience miserable. Total lack of communication and follow through. We showed up to our scheduled walk through with the house a mess and no one there. We later learned that the walk through and closing had been pushed back and we were not notified. We came in from out of state and were paying for a hotel room to accommodate the date and time we were given (we even confirmed the appointment time prior to the walk through). On the surface, the homes look great. But I never thought one could miss 6 pages of specifications in the contract and get the kitchen wrong. They built the wrong island and missed several electrical upgrades. In their haste to correct the misses, they butchered the pavers in the driveway tracking out joint compound and other stuff that we're still waiting to be cleaned up - promised to be done prior to closing. The warranty folks in Las Vegas say that Pulte laid off all but one manager, so that's why three months after closing, we're still waiting for punchlist items to be corrected. Forget ...

As the builder moved our expected move-in date up 2 months, it appears in doing so the attention to detail and quality of materials/workmanship suffered significantly in their haste to complete our home. There were so many issues to be dealt with that I will not delineate them in this review. Fortunately, Darryl with the warranty division was able to meet with us and has had some of the items remedied and has scheduled the rest to be done. We have been very happy with him. Love our house, but... I'm totally convinced the only way to take possession of the new home is to not close until 100 percent of the punch list items are finished. Starting with Pulte mortgage it was an aggravating, frustrating and wish we had done it different experience. The contractors hired to do the work have no pride in their work and there is no accountability or follow through when they don’t do good job. We feel like any old way is good enough. The house is out of square, walls are not plumb, one garage wall is longer than the other…..Along the same contractor issues we have had to constantly clean up trash from the new build next door. Trash includes water bottles, beer bottles, food wrappers, styrofoam, plastic bags from insulation, nails, ...
