This is the second home that I purchased from Pulte and it will be the last. The first house which was located in Florida had a terrific floor plan and the service that I received from Pulte was good. I liked the floor plan for the current house in Lake Las Vegas but after living here for a few weeks I realize that there is too much useless space. This means that the places where space is needed are too small (ex. closets, kitchen cabinets, pantry). The bidding for lots was sold as fair for buyers. In reality it only served to drive up purchase prices. Repairs after closing take a very long time. Buyers are responsible for purchasing the higher cost appliances because only the stove and dishwasher are included. Some materials are less than good.

Recommend aviod using pulte mortgage, title and pulte insurance

Pulte homes wants you to use their own mortgage, title and home owners insurance, the title company is high on closing costs, the insurance gave us a quote that would not even cover the cost to rebuild the home, the sales agents are not working for home buyers, they 100 percent represent the builder, make sure you have a legal expert look over the contract before buying, watch the upgrades, the upgrades are over priced and they claim a upgrade on something. Others would consider standard, make sure you take pictures on final walk through and look at every corner, wall, moldings, plumbing, ...

Great Home except 30-Day warranty issues need to be addressed in a timely manner. Too long to verify and eventually execute fixes. I realize lots of homes being done now and Labor shortages contribute to this but Co. needs to increase Labor Force to take care of these issues. You pay half a million dollars for a home you should expect discrepancies to be fixed in a timely manner.

Overall we love our new home and neighborhood, however we are very disappointed with the quality of finish trim and paint. the painting is about as bad as I have seen, flat paint in bathrooms and kitchen?? white only?? baseboards un-sanded, un-calked and un-painted in the majority of the house? with the price escalations that have occurred over the past year, Pulte can afford to properly paint a small house. The paint is readily available, we have checked.

Moving from one Del Webb to another does not come with any perks. It’s like starting all over. The sales dept had their hands tied in offering lots to sell. The release of lots was done in stages and pricing was not as advertised. We paid $37,000 more just for the bare minimum of the homes original stated price. Pulte Mortgage representative was a disaster. It was not about the consumer. It was how to make their job easier. Always had problems getting call backs and verifying interest rate hikes. Basically, this was a bad experience that should have been exciting for this new chapter in our lives. Many mistakes were made with the add on's we purchased, and they seemed bothered that we wanted them fixed. We had to continually request and follow up on issues that had not been completed at closing. After a month we are still waiting for some of the items. The walls seem thin and we can hear everything going on from most rooms in the house. The light switches do not make a lot of sense to where they are connected.

First and foremost, salesperson and home foreman were great and totally responsive, the same cannot be said of anyone else there...what was to take 6 months took 10, impossible to get any real timing or info, houses bought after us were done months before...GM basically said he has two years to build home and would be happy to let me out of my contract (um nooo since at that point they were charging $60,000 more for my house...) we are in now , finding some issues, but the warranty gentleman is awesome. BTW it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a phone number for Pulte/Del Webb corporate , not online, not ...

Ask for Tanya in the sales office. Ask for Ron as your building superintendent. Expect laborers to take no pride in workmanship and leave trash everywhere. Be VERY cautious when going to the design center. Their samples are not actual representations of what you will get in your home. Keep detailed records of all upgrades and ensure that they actually get placed into your home. Expect great service post closing date from Darryl.

Very poor craftsmanship of base board moldings and doors, nail holes not filled or sanded, caulking not smoothed or remove just painted over, very disappointed in finished detail work. Brand new house and I have to go over everything and repair it myself.

Look very closely at all aspects of the home--the little things. Check very carefully for insects. Paint issues, grout smears on tile, doors, drawers,and locks with keys. Don't assume everything works/is OK. The main gate is left open on the weekends. The other gate is never closed, and locked. So It's not really a gated comunity at this time like I assumed. Ergo, I had to purchase ADT--UGH!

The buying experience is good but after an hour walkthrough or turn over is not enough as you go thru each day, you’re finding more and more that should have been done or corrected before the turn over of the house. Each detail is a must to be inspected by each homebuyer based on their upgrade’s and quality Of materials and the way it was installed.

The closing company did not pay the Property Taxes, SID or HOA nearly 2 months after closing and only paid them after we relentlessly inquired. We were in fear of a Property lien. I would stay away from Del Web title company.

All in all it’s a satisfactory transition I moved here from Northern California to Mesquite the area is nice the people of been wonderful my only issue is is that with the Del Webb folks it takes a while for them to respond back to any issues that you have one that I experienced was my hot water heater I never heard back from anybody still working on it

This is our second Pulte home in a Del Webb Community. We are disappointed in the fact that we bought our lot and home for full price, then Pulte offers huge discounts to new buyers. 2 weeks before we received our keys no work was done at the house. Then when we closed we are expected to have all the things that weren’t done reported for warranty work. Just so it is signed off by the homeowner and Pulte gets their money. I would seriously think about that before buying again.

The overall process was just average. I believe that the sales people underestimate the amount of upgrades that are really required to build a nice upscale home. Our specific sales rep was always on her day off or vacation. Once the house was completed we didn't even hear or see our rep. The quality of the build or upgrades is just not good especially considering the price. For example we upgraded to a glass french door for the office - the quality is horrible and it was very expensive. We've had several items that need to be repaired, fixed, etc. and getting them completed has been very ...
