Terrible communication from sales to closing and total lack of quality workmanship.

The builder rushed through the readiness of the home to meet an unrealistic close date. Instead of delaying the close, they forced the signing by threatening 250.00 a day penalty for each day beyond the target close date. The lack of quality has required many many service tickets and Pulte takes their time in addressing them. They continue to cite labor shortages for the poor quality, yet they offer no compensation for the hardship put on the homeowner, we are forced to live with it. Absolute Worst Experience in my life of buying a home

I can't believe how bad Del Webb and Pulte screwed up my forever home. The issues are deep and systemic. Their procedures on dealing with these issues as well are a serious problem. I have floors w/ grout all over them after the install of tiles. Yet, for weeks I can't move in, and even today Feb 2 I sent another email asking when they will come out and fix this. NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By far, the worst new house purchase I've ever made - this is my fourth. Pulte can speak of quality, but there is no evidence of quality in my house. And the design oversights are astounding. Even junior architects shouldn't make such fundamental errors - doors that open on to each other, doors that cannot be opened unless another door is closed, air vents over dining table and living room seating area, windows that cannot be opened all the way because there is no grab handle on the bottom of the windows to close them, 'frameless' shower enclosure only missing the cheap aluminum frame on the ...

You are buying a track house - expect track house quality

Do not be fooled by Del Webb's sales tactics - their "Build Quality Experience" is just a sales gimmick - Del Webb is a track house builder and the fit and finish of their homes reflects this - we spent over $40K for upgrades to our Kitchen, Master Bathroom and Flooring and the fit and finish is terrible - there is no quality control during the build process so nothing gets addressed until after you close on the house and then you are at the mercy of Del Webb's "Warranty Center" which is the most non-responsive outfit I have every dealt with - the tradesmen they send to fix the numerous ...
