The end result was very good, a few minor issues during the process. There are only two lasting negatives. 1.The inability to have the house oriented as desired, (front door facing neighbors front door instead of front door facing the ugly side of neighbors home replete with gas, water heater and other mechanical items), is undesirable, and seeming to be something that could be addressed without issue and clearly possible since my desired orientation exists elsewhere in the community. 2. Andrew and Kenneth have been more than helpful and considerate through the past year. The house is pretty much what we wanted and the neighborhood is truly a friendly atmosphere with lots to do. The house has a few minor cosmetic issues which should be easy to fix and one issue that will need to be resolved soon. All in all, we are happy to have made the move.

We had read done horrible reviews about the quality of Pulte homes in several websites. There are numerous complaints about quality and responsiveness to issues on the BBB website. We have found the opposite to be the case. Our home was delivered with only a few very minor issues. These were largely cosmetic in nature. We have submitted warranty requests, and corrections are underway. The home is a pleasure to live in, and is very comfortable. Overall we are very satisfied with our Pulte home.

My overall experience is good but I closed on my house March 10 and we still do not have window screens. The light switch in our hall closet was placed behind the door so when you open the door you cannot see or reach the light switch. You denied fixing this but when I appealed to said you would send someone to look at it. Thishasnot happened after weeks of waiting.

Issues are lingering. The build quality is not what was expected from a Pulte home. We feel that Pulte is only concerned with getting houses finished and not adequately addressing issues in houses that recently closed.

The community is great, the people are nice and the activities are great. The houses are pretty and have good layouts. And for the most part, quality after final punch list was complete seems decent. But it’s hard to find good things to say about Pulte right now. They are not transparent about their processes, communication is automated or nonexistent, they come nowhere close to meeting deadlines and six weeks after closing we are missing lots of things. Subcontractor work is lacking.

When speaking with the subcontractors, they complain that Pulte is not paying them enough to provide higher quality work, and some have claimed not to have been paid at all or late. Recommend that Pulte take care of their subcontractors since they are the ones representing Pulte.

Very bad experience in the design center and untrue promises made. Wilmington customer care very slow and difficult to deal with. Quality of some materials questionable. Although I love my house don’t know if I’d recommend.

My experience is that the build took longer (told 6 months...it was 11 mo), that materials were not the quality I was led to believe they would be, design choices were limited, and builder response to complete or fix problems has not been satisfactory.

We love the house. BUT. Models have at least $200k in upgrades from base price. They grossly exaggerated expected closing date. They need to improve their responsiveness. Emails and calls often not acknowledged. After closing, it was as if we disappeared. Didn’t get a thorough punch list. We identified items that have been ignored. Linear fireplace set too high. Exterior doors that wouldn’t lock. No meter for irrigation (supply issue) that wasn’t pointed out to us. And more.

Never replied to my complaints workmanship was awful . Tile in kitchen coming off they won’t fix lt paint and scratches on floor. Workmanship was awful careless windows were dirty counter tops were not clean of I had it to do. Over l would never buy a dell webb . Would not recommend dell Webb to anyone.

Signed contract in November 2021 and closed December. 2022. Went months without hearing anything. Sometimes felt had no input into what was going on. Salesperson and design person were both very good. Noted lack of agreed upon features and shared them with project manager, but only had them corrected the week of closing. Everything, it seemed, was blamed on supply chain issues. Who knows? Now both project manager and design person are no longer with company. The walk thru with all of the things noted that were to be corrected have now disappeared with the project manager having been released. ...

We have built a number of houses and this was the worst experience so far. The salesperson Karen was excellent—professional and extremely helpful however she had to work with corporate policies. Overall in the end we are satisfied with our home but the overall experience was a nightmare. I absolutely would not ever consider using Pulte mortgage. Use anyone else—very inefficient and problematic. We had recently financed a property with another mortgage company with no issues but with Pulte they continually dropped the ball. Not a great experience and not a great value for the cost. Weeks of delays, terrible communication, crooked walls, shoddy patch ups, unresponsive project managers, holes developing in the lawn, late delivery of the home.

You're Paying for a Del Webb Community not the house

For the price of this house, the workmanship is average at best. We had a lot of silly mistakes and you got the feeling that it was more important to get the house built fast rather than getting it right. Landscaping is just sad, and the paint is the cheapest you can imagine and sloppy.

These times are unique but the true mark of reputable builder is one who is able to manage the entire building process despite them which far is from our experience. Shifting the blame to others for your end results is inexcusable and only poor management.

Very Disappointed in the construction of my home

My construction was delayed and resulted in me having to stay in a rented residence more than 3 months @ $2350. Pulte has ignored my request for reimbursement. The house was not finished properly and my construction contact was not very helpful. He accused me of causing damage to a bathroom tile which is untrue. Refused to help . Very disappointed in the way the house was completed.
