The buying and living experience is 100!

Look very closely at all aspects of the home--the little things. Check very carefully for insects. Paint issues, grout smears on tile, doors, drawers,and locks with keys. Don't assume everything works/is OK. The main gate is left open on the weekends. The other gate is never closed, and locked. So It's not really a gated comunity at this time like I assumed. Ergo, I had to purchase ADT--UGH!

From start to finish this experience was smooth and easy.

The home took 15 months to complete. We had a good project leader ( Ed ) after the first two were changed. You have to stay on top of the builder DAILY. It is important to note that the Builder DOES NOT ALLOW ANY CHANGES to the original contract … dont even ask (or beg), it will fall on deaf ears.. This was very odd in that we had to accommodate Del Webbs cabinet changes due to eliminating their supplier. This resulted in us having to change cabinet colors as well as counters, flooring, etc. Expect everything to be one sided. It is obvious they are not used to using outside title companies. We used Chicago title and they did a great job and saved us over $1,200. There were scare tactics telling us how the closing would be delayed using our outside title company - this was almost laughable. So far the warranty team has been really good. The most important area in the home buying experience is the warranty and construction management department. No home is a perfect build and issues do occur but patience and working through problems can get the home to near perfection.

I m disabled the sales man knew that. He never orderd me or have put in for disabled person in my i asked for wide dooes wide frint door and french dooes ro the patio. I never met with the dwsign team he or the contractor followed the book i did not got whar I asked for. And i have a barhtub shower that can not use i asked for a walk in shower and itsi cracked rhe dishwasher does not work it was dumbes smashed on the kawn have a picture. Rhry promised to fix tgings after closing rhey never did. Under indiana law they sakes men can not be the same as the designer if it stares in a book and the sales men and contractor must have the home approved by ada laws. And knoe them just like hoa rules if there 535 house it divuded amoung the home owner for example wach yars is differnt and cutting and keeping it up can not be charged the same price 181.00 dollars a month should not be. For example the people pay mrmbershup thryogh health insuranxe oe by properry taxes thay not incmuded in the hoa but it is. In addtion people pay hoa fees for activies for del web coummites not charged extra i f founded out by family in Florida and az that live in one. But mine does eveeythibg cost . So not many join anythung so there for there should not be any activrt person. Accordinf to insiana the hoa is made up by people who live there like my old place and each home owner has a say what gers paid and how nuch and what for.. indiana eaxg person pays property tax thry own rhier home they have evert right ti make changes unless the hoysing comoles owns and maintains the out side of the home that where a hoa fee comes in and peoole running the hoa must live there. In that coummity here they do not.the hoa fee shouuld cover the club house maintance the pool tennis courts and kitchen and fitness room that it and steer care for snow and yard if person wants it. Home built quickly and with very few issues. The increase in owners has caused a delay in response time that should have been predicted and addressed (can’t keep blaming COVID-19 four years later, despite the workforce..not wanting to work!). Considering the price we are paying for a home here, response time should be faster.

Love the floor plan and construction. Very energy efficient. Highly recommend the neighborhood.

We have numerous items that remain unresolved from our walk through and punch list. Several are significant. We have not heard back on any of them. We closed June 22. Over a month ago. We have also submitted other issues through the warranty process and none of them have been resolved. No communication. Nothing fixed.

It was q very easy process.

It is very difficult to trust people in this build when construction supervisors, customer care, etc. are moved to other projects. Customer care rep. was good about touching base with us on open tickets-airteam showed up when scheduled, however, whoever is in charge of landscaping has done nothing to correct the mistakes made in the front, side and partial backyard. They were here over two weeks ago and said they would be back to fill in the yard and replace some of the grass but we haven't seen them since. I was also told that they couldn't replace any of the grass on the side because they have a budget. Our sales rep (who was wonderful) was moved before our completion as well as our construction supervisor. This week we were informed that the customer rep (who seemed to be on top of what was going on) has been moved to another project. We are beginning to feel like this neighborhood is just a stepchild to Pulte. ... More

We were very excited about purchasing a new Del Webb home in Summerville, SC, but needless to say our expectations fell a little short. Poor communications, a delayed closing and poor workmanship were just a few of the reasons we were very disappointed. We paid for upgrades in almost every area, only to be disappointed with finishes, choices available and finally the end product. We are post 2 months closing and still dealing with issues.

little items were overlooked, (some tp holders needed to be tightened, door to garage needed lock adjusted, had to change wiring of dryer due to age). Despite having touted that Fulshear does not allow any structure over 10 feet, lo and behold no sooner had I moved in but several cell towers were constructed around our area.

There is little or no attention to detail. Quality control is most definitely lacking. My saleslady was the highlight of my whole experience. In a couple of instances, I was lied to which affected my trust. My end result is good...but could be so much better. One buys for lifestyle in Sun City and no home quality!

Deceptive marketing - very controlling- refused to provide requested information making it extremely stressful and difficult without reason

Everything went very smoothly and we're very happy with our home.

Our biggest issue is having our Construction Manager follow-up on issues that needed to be corrected. I have sent him emails, text messages, and left voice mails to get updates on when to expect the issues will be addressed. with no response. During construction he was very responsive to questions. But, since moving into our home, we have issues that are still waiting to be corrected - after nearly 2 months!

Our home buying experience with the Del Webb Oasis team members was exceptional, specifically the services received from Nate, Jonathan, Pablo & Jason. This is the 3rd new home we bought and Del Webb/Pulte is by far the best!!

Generally speaking, my home is well-built structurally. The quality of the finish work (flooring, trim, paint) however, is fair at best. Pulte was definitely more interested in getting the house finished quickly versus finishing it well. Someone, other than local construction management, needs to have the power and authority to insist that quality is prioritized over a closing date. This is my eighth new home. I know what a well-built, quality home looks like and entails. I love the location and the community. Over time I can and will correct all the quality issues. We build a few houses and this was by far the worst.

Del Webb us a great development. Easy to work with the sales team and very satisfied. Key things to improve on are drywall finishing work and attention to details like cleaning off building materials from surfaces. Counter top issues as well.

Janet and Travis were awesome. Janet was great at finalizing everything and ensuring everything got finished up. Travis was great to work with over two years, always keeping in touch with me and answering all my questions.

Overall we are happy with our new house… that said the construction part went really well but the finish work, painting , tile work etc. was on the sloppy side.Things that should have been done before closing were not done or not checked by the builder..two months later still no hurricane screens.
