Last August my wife was helping a friend find a place to move from Denver. They did a stay-and-play, and when my wife returned home, she said that she wanted to join the Del Webb SCHH community. In October we flew down so I could check the place out - and we signed on the spot. The selection process is semi-customizable, as there’s always a choice of small, medium and large within lot size, house size, and choice of finishes. We were happy with our choices, and how the house turned-out. Key to our satisfaction was our assigned construction manager who kept us informed every step along the way, and wanted to make sure things were perfect before closing. With Del Webb’s construction warranty, it’s better for them to fix things up front, rather than later. We chose to be the pioneers in a new major expansion of an existing community. We were aware that our adjacent amenity center would be completed about 18 months after our close - no problems - there are already six other pools in the community to drive our golf cart to visit. The rooms are so small as well

There were a lot of issues to work through

We are pleased with our experience with the staff at Del Webb Oak Creek. This is our second experience with buying and building a home via Del Webb and its builder, Pulte Construction. The process to buy a lot, customize the home and build is challenging enough but the sales person was great at communicating from beginning to closing.

We had a beautiful Stardom home built. Allen was our sales representative and made it an easy decision, helped us out throughout the process and delivered what we paid for. Great build/construction manager, Jacob was there from the start and ensured everything was done, communicated well and built an incredible home. Gary the customer service representative is incredibly helpful and knows the business. Great Pulte Team and love our home.

Outstanding professional support from Lonnie throughout the building process and post closing. Lonnie has provided exceptional attention to even the smallest details while remaking responsive as needed. Every new build will experience some construction issues. It takes true professionalism to work those details to fruition.

From reviewing available lots and floor plans to the Design Center choices to weekly updates from the builder project manager through final inspection, the team was communicative, friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. We are very happy with our new home.

Due to unforeseen life circumstances I had to move quickly. With the help of the Pulte Team I was able to close in 3.5 weeks! Love my new home. They have been very responsive to any concerns, home is well built and comfortable.

Overall the house is OK, lots of issues yet to be addressed. Wish they would handle punch list issues within a set time frame, like 30-60 days after closing. I like the neighborhood and the amenities but the inside finishes do not align with the cost of the house.

Very poor interior painting and sheet rocking, cabinets very poorly finished. Eaves leak over front door.

Overpriced homes with poor quality workmanship. In addition, the builder is very poor in responding to and correcting issues.

It was not worth the price, very different from the models

While we rally like the community and the home design, we've had more issues than we would have anticipated for a home of this cost and new construction. While the basic construction seems to be of good/average quality, the finish and some of the materials (windows substandard (poor build and screens not well fitted), cabinetry faulty glue system, roofing system not executed to code (ridge vent), terrible HVAC drain design, concrete is poor - rust spots all over) were not of the quality expected. Trade work was of a poorer quality than expected as well as drywall and paint work is of mediocre quality and corrections have been challenging to get done. Insulation execution was inadequate (found to be a "dusting", and when "corrected" still less than required by code (based on certified home inspection after closing). On an upside, the home design in general is very nice and we like the layout and location of the home, but for the cost, this is not the standard we felt we would receive. Advise any buyers conduct extensive due diligence on materials/labor that will be used as well as any warranties to those materials and the overall home prior to purchase. ... More

I have built 3 homes and Pulte did many things very well. While my home is the smallest of the 3 I built, it may have the least attention to detail. But the most disappointing aspect has been the follow up to address quality issues is pathetic. After moving in, I was unable to flush the master bedroom toilet for a month. My lanai sliding door is installed improperly and allows insects to enter at will. The service request to fix was a joke almost as bad as the multiple plumbers it took to fix the toilet. Daylight shines through my garage door, energy efficiency blows. My first water bill was 6 dollars for potable water and 50 for 1x per week irrigation. Did I really need 42,000 gallons of reclaimed water to get my sod stabilized? If my neighbor wants to borrow a cup of sugar, we can just open the window and pass it over. Does a micro-lot require 42 thousand gallons of water to grow? Overall I am just OK with my home quality but I can fix Pulte's errors as they seem unable to do so effectively. ... More

I emphasize the efficiency of a Del Webb community

Craftsmanship is horrible. Service was worse. HOA requirements out of this world

A good experience overall. My foreman Spencer was absolutely the best! Trustworthy, hardworking, attention to detail and an all around good individual! He made the experience worth every step.

The buying experience from out of state was rough.I feel the date of sale should not be set until the building manager feels the home is ready for sale . I was brought down from out of state to approve a home that did not have floors in it yet. A waste of a flight and week off work. The home turned out great Jake and Kialey went the extra mile for me

Carlos was the best. He was responsive, timely and dependable.

The attention to detail is very much lacking. The Homes are built quickly with many unresolved issues.
