All in all, we are very pleased with our new home! The only negative thing I can say is that, one, the tile laying of the backsplash and windowsill in the kitchen does not look very professional. Two, the placing of the sod, the lawn is very lumpy and uneven, bad for the ankles of older folks like us..

We like our Palmary however the construction equipment across from our home is unsightly and detracts from our enjoyment and appreciation of our home.

Great community, but building process was the worst I have ever experienced. The quality of workmanship by the trades is poor in general. Pulte escalation was effective, but they are limited when quality is poor. Seems to be theme with all builders. During the sales presentation the multi step quality check process does not meet expectations. If your lucky to get a good field manager it will help. Need to check progress frequently and hire a home inspector for predrywall and final inspection.

Great place to live, friendly people

The home was very dirty upon moving in! And we were told it was a construction clean, your cleaning crews need a lot of help! Also not very good at getting back to handle issue.

Our project manager Max was the best part of our experience. We had issues when we first moved in and Max and the warranty department have been great. I think some of the subcontractors work was done poorly, maybe rethink who you use. I would have rather waited a month more to move in if the finisIhed product was done better. We still after a month have some issues that need to be resolved and I am sure that before the year is done we will have more. I would like to have another chance to write a review after our year walk through.

In any place in the home you will find something not level, damaged or missing. The lack of oversight and quality ensurance can be seen everywhere. When something is addressed to be fixed, don't expect it to be done right the next time but instead expect multiple attempts before something is completed to one's satisfaction. Expect to find many issues with the home after closing. Things like scratches on cabinets that were hidden because they were not identifiable because the home is so filthy. Scratches discovered won't be addressed by warranty because the discovery happened after closing. It is the buyers fault afterall for not having x-ray vision to see damage through smudges and dirt on everything. ... More

The workmanship and materials were not up to what I expected. This is the fourth home I have owned, the 3rd in which I was the first owner. Many things were shoddy. The tile floors had glue spills all over them. There are several points where the cuts to install something (eg an electric socket) were too long and stick out. The seams between things were not smooth, glue, paint, caulking were on the floor, and on the walls. The pipes were not flushed, sand almost clogged the shutoff valve in one bath room.

This is something I have wanted to do for a long time. This house building experience has been scary, difficult, and absolutely awesome! What fun it was to pick out all of my own choices for my home. My coordinators for the building of the house were friendly, attentive, ontime, and awesome! Vicki

We love our house the layout is wonderful. Just had a few issues but overall it’s a great house.

First, our Construction Manager did a great job of keeping us informed weekly of the progress on the house. When problems arose, he let us know and resolved the issues promptly. He was pleasant to deal with. He actually identified a problem that many people would not have caught. It was fixed although it delayed closing by a week. He also informed us about problems with the glue that was used on the cabinets. As a result, we have to have 80% of the cabinets replaced. Scheduled for June 26. We have asked that the cabinet company provide us with a food allowance for the time we will be unable to use the kitchen. We did have problems with the construction manager not responding to numerous texts about two issues we needed resolved. We sent him 8 texts in May and never received a response. We finally sent an email to our Customer Care person about the problems. That afternoon our construction manager stopped by. We discussed the issue and he claimed he never received any of the texts except on May 1 when we first identified the problem. If in fact he isn’t receiving texts from buyers, someone needs to figure out what happened immediately. One of the issues it still outstanding and we need it resolved immediately. Our construction manager advised he would have the plumber to the house next week. One other issue we discovered after closing. The framers did a poor job framing the master bathroom. The walls are not square. Also, the closet in the den/office was not square so they covered it up by putting shoe molding over the area where it was not square. We are hoping that the cabinet issue will be resolved and we get the kitchen and cabinets we paid for. I don’t hold Pulte responsible for the underlying issue but will hold them accountable for how they handle the “fix”. ... More

The Pulte group is very difficult to work with. It does not matter what you, the customer, wants. The closing date that they gave us was not good for us but they refused to accommodate us. Everything is dictated to you and whether or not that works for you does not matter to them. They are not custom builders and the fact that they would not allow us to change the cable in the bedroom to the flex room made me think our house must be built by robots. That would not have been hard to do. When we did our preview walk through the house was filthy. Really? That is the first impression of our home and it was horrible. The smoke detector beeped the entire 3 hours. He told us he would replace the batteries. When we moved in it wasn't much better. I spent 4 days cleaning to get it "move-in-ready". The smoke detector was still beeping so we called and was told by the builder that the beeping had stopped so he didn't replace the batteries. Yet, he told me he would feel better if I replaced all of them; not just the one beeping. I'm sorry, wasn't that the builder's responsibility? There is a spec home near us and that house is spotless. Ours should have been treated the same. When we met with the builder and the warranty representative, we were told more of what isn't covered than what is covered. Everything is very negative. Most of the employees we talked to were very disgruntled and they seem to have a high turnover. When we started meeting our neighbors, we realized almost everyone had some type of issue. I have yet to meet someone who is satisfied with their building experience. I hope that it will all be worth it in the end. My best advice to someone who is going to build with Pult is this - Don't expect anything to be easy, customer focused, or quality products. That way you won't be disappointed. ... More

This is the second time buying a Pulte home. This time our construction manager was great. Unfortunately, not all contractors were. He did his best to manage the situation but we had problems that took several visits to get right. These homes are not cheap and you should expect them to be worth the money. Have them fix what is wrong. Don't just settle for bad details.

Although I was initially impressed with how you folks reached out and communicated, I quickly learned that your management group is NOT responsive, they are disorganized, and maybe they are just not capable of doing the job. I am still ironing out administrative problems after 2 months. Also, your "bait and switch " sales techniques of selling your properties with amenities that are later rescinded is more than infuriating.

From start to finish, my homebuying experience was very positive. From the sales team to the construction team, I was kept informed every step of the way. My construction manager, TJ, was especially attentive to each and every question (and there were a LOT of them) and made sure I understood each phase of the construction process. He provided weekly photo updates and displayed genuine excitement for me as the build came to an end. This was especially important to me because I live in another state. TJ made sure my house was 100% ready on closing day. I can't wait to move into my new home! Thanks to the entire team! ... More

Took 13 months but we finally moved into our beautiful new home. Good quality workmanship in our new home and our construction manager was responsive to our needs.

Our build manager,Andrew, did an awesome job taking care of our build. Shilo and Kathy at Pulte mortgage made the loan process super easy and stress free. We’re just over 30 days in and the few nits that we have are being worked (or are already done).

We really appreciated the work Tim (Salesman) did for us. Daniel at the Design Studio did a phenomenal job helping us pick out interior options. Trent our Construction Mgr did an incredible job overseeing the construction. Our home is our dream come true!

Very efficient, personable. Great salesperson who made herself available every step of the way and guided me to make the right decisions. Kudos!

Expect delays unfortunately sales said one thing. Reality was very different

Communication throughout the build was very good

Marc our builder has been very responsive in getting things done within the 30 days since we closed on the house. He took upon himself to submit my requests and followed them up. I want to recognize the 2 people who did a wonderful job -the paint guy and the one who fixed the sliding doors.

I love the plan of my home and really appreciate the walk in attic,

DO NOT SIGN FOR CLOSING UNTIL ALL HIT LIST ITEMS HAVE BEEN FIXED!!!!!!!!! DO NOT HAVE ANY WARRANTY ITEMS YET BUT PROCEEDURE LOOKS VERY CUMBERSOME AND WAIT TIMES TOO LONG

Bobbie as a sales person.. good.. she needs to have more info tho as the communication through-out 16 months was terrible until Josh Yeager was assigned Bobbie is great but cannot address anything if there’s issues Josh Yeager .. once assigned to our project in the last 2 months was/is a tremendous asset. He is honest.. trustworthy and is the only reason we did not back out on the build.. Josh in my humble opinion is an absolute professional.. great communication.. listens and follows up As of today… little more than a month in I am awaiting a new AC unit .. nice in Arizona.. NOT The concrete on patio - drive and front porch is literally the worse I have ever seen… including the garage… which I personally epoxied…to hide the miserable work.. the concrete is extremely rough.. uneven.. like the finish work was never even done.. they did try to repair my front porch.. ground it down… and then epoxied it.. truthfully looks awful The back patio is just as bad… it looks like it’s 40 years old… paint is off the metal flashing in the front of the house… side gate is loose at bottom and latch is bent And we are still awaiting resolution on glass French doors … and not to mention that the switches in bathrooms were backwards… as was the lock on garage door I could go on and on … like I said… worse experience of my life and compared to the Beazer home I built in 2018 … Pulte can’t hold a candle …I As I mentioned… Josh is absolutely awesome… but I certainly cannot expect him to handle the workmanship issues… especially the terrible concrete work I feel that Pulte should at their expense address or refund so I can address with putting paver drive and front in .. as well as the back patio I in good conscience cannot and will not recommend Pulte to anyone until and unless our concerns are addressed… apparently Steve is no longer around the Florence build and that’s a good thing because although he carried a great message for Pulte… he hears nothing … and borders on coming across as dishonest In closing.. if you had more employees like Josh who actually addresses and discusses with owners … you would be way better off * I also find it amusing that a person cannot write a review without it being flagged for “naughty” words Which you hear all around your job site * Disappointed still Dennis ...
