Not going to lie, buying a new build can be very stressful. you think it will be easy because you get to pick what you want but that is the hard part. Upgrades are not cheap other builders include things this builder does not and vice versa. Highly recommend having an inspector come with you with each walk-through you will miss things and after you moved in it takes a bit to get things fixed if needed or if even whether it’s determined part of warranty or not. But overall the house is pretty, would prefer a different lot but of course everything cost more. The community is great and overall ...

The hvac system had issues with the heat and after they fixed that the air conditioner didn’t work now it is just noisy. The drywall and painting team has been in to fix several places and then paint. The landscaper did a poor job in the back yard.

For the most part working with Pulte was a good experience. However, we were never informed about the location of support posts in our finished basement. Now there is a post/column 3 feet from the center of the stairs. Very poor planning and very unattractive and the people we’ve talked to say it would have been easy to move this post a few feet away. At closing we agreed that there were 5/6 issues that still needed attention: 1. Our contract states the the cold air vent which is high up in the entryway would be moved down closer to the floor. 2. The screens in several windows do not fit ...

I love the floor plan of my home, though some of the workmanship was shoddy and messy. For example when the tile flooring was laid, the tile guys taped down thin cardboard to protect the tile & grout. The contractors, after the tile guys, removed the cardboard and made a mess of the flooring throughout my home. I had to hired a company to clean the tile and the concrete outside the home.

A REAL BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY !!! Michelle our sales person was excellent. She was always there. If we had any questions during the build process she answered them. She was so polite, understanding and very professional. Our site manager Mason was on target also. He kept us updated every week with emails, phone calls and pictures. NOW THE BAD !!! Our walk through punch list has not been addressed to our liking. We are still waiting for things to be done or items to be received. We are promised results but none are being granted. The whole building process went very smooth for me. My building manager did a really good job of keeping me informed on things. The only negative I have is that once you close, you are kind of forgotten. I've been in for over five weeks and I still have a list of small things that need to be done - and several touch up paint issues.

The overall purchase and closing was great. No issues at all. The overall home and the build is not the same experience. The structural portion of the hoe was solid. The cosmetics of the home and workmanship was not as expected. Very disappointed in the cabinets damage and the paint and sparkling job.

This is my fourth Pulte home. The homes are being built too quickly and the attention to detail is lacking. I had my own inspection after closing that revealed several issues with the home. Specifically the attic and roof. Areas that cannot be seen by the home owner.

Promises about projected move-in date were kept. After moving in, anticipated, expected problems, such as ‘settling’ of the building structure causing doors to no close properly in their frames have been noted after six weeks. Del Webb predicted these, and now it is the important to get them fixed.

Day of closing our field manager supposed done couple of things for us after we close on Friday and before we got back on Monday and never did. Than when we brought up to the customer care person he ask and said he did not say it. Very disappointed ! PS still waiting on our refrigerator

The process was 99% positive. During final walk thru there were several things not completed and missed. Made a mistake after our construction manager asked to sign off even though not 100% then the next day got an email from him asking for a good review, we did. Then still waiting to get things fixed. Dishwasher was not hooked up at all. So I had to do it myself…. Door from garage to laundry room was missing a seal so bugs have easy access, had hire a exterminator…

The buying process has very much improved, however, the overall quality of the workmanship is not comparable to the process or the price. After having the opportunity to now closely, physically view the finished product, I'm finding a disappointing lack of attention to detail. I concede that I'm confident the dwelling itself is structurally sound, but the devil is always in the details.
