This is the second home we built. Once we got past a few misunderstandings in the beginning of the sales process things went smoothly. The build process was awesome. Now that we are in the home the warranty people are NOTY GOOD. Things are taking forever to get fixed. The vendors are unreliable. They don't show up, and when they do they are unprepared to complete the job.

Overall staff was responsive but workmanship needs to improve. Painting both inside and out was poor, painter cam back for a full day to fix painting issues.

Overall the experience was good, but homeowners should be prepared for at least two months of workman coming back to fix thinks like paint, stucco, appliances, tile, etc.

I’m disappointed. I’ve owned new homes before . Pulte is either building too fast to keep up, or they’re hiring lower class workers, or they’re going downhill. I’ve never had such sloppy, messy, incomplete, unfinished work before. We personally have had to repair so many builder “oops” because getting them out to fix seems to be a problem. There are also a lot of larger “oops” we are waiting for resolution.

Their contractors do not keep a clean or tidy work space. Debris was left everywhere inside and out during the buildout. Their finishing work was no better than an inexperienced DIY person. Carpentry was horrible. We purchased cabinet in the entry way from garage that I could have built better with the limited tools I have. Each shelf was at different spacing. The painting was horrible and had to be done a second time.

We notified our project manager Steve of issues with our kitchen cabinets during walkthrough, at move in and after move in. Still has not been repaired. Almost 90 days later we finally have an appointment for repair after far too many emails and phone calls. There was non communication through the process - finally got the Customer Service Manager to assist. Thanks Tatiania! Still had to wait another 3 weeks to get an escalated schedule. Week 7 our microwave started spewing smoke, a board had burnt up. We called Customer Service who redirected us to Whirlpool warranty. Their safety team told ...

It is extremely difficult to get any follow-up on items that are on backorder or that were promised to be fixed at thirty days after close. Seems to be a consistent problem with many new home owners.

You do not buy a house you buy the neighborhood experience of an active adult community. If you are willing to get involved in everything that is offered then it is a great purchase. If not you can build your home substantially cheaper. That said our community activities can extend your lifespan

That everything is a upgrade, I found I could not get what I really wanted, because the smallest thing was a upgrade. Therefore I am not as satisfied with my home. I guess I really couldn’t afford this home , so I would make sure my friend and family understands before buying here.

Home was built too quickly. Workman ship is very low quality. No hot water in master shower since Dec 23 Finally repaired on Feb 9. Settlement was Dec 23. Poor quality assurance. Someone should have checked for hot water.

Adam M. went above and beyond in helping us with the buying of our new home, as we were in CA. With Covid 19, we were unable to come to TX, so Adam went out weekly to take pictures of the progress of our new home and was in constant contact with us. We were not able to fly out for the closing and signed docs online. Was not present for walkthrough, but sent a punch list of what we saw in pictures that needed to be corrected. The contractor said he did the walkthrough, but it was very apparent that that was not true as there was no battery in a smoke alarm and was beeping until we went to buy ...

It appears that some materials were not up to the upgrade we thought we would have. Also, due to delays on other items, it appears some work such as carpet installation should have been delayed until the cabinets were installed. Also, having an issue with the upgraded tile we chose for the house. It appears to be substandard and chipping for no apparent reason.

We love our new home. We enjoyed watching each step of it being built. Everything went pretty smoothly. Since being in our home we’ve had issues with our doors. I sent an email and still nothing. So a little frustrated with the lack of response. But all in all we’re very pleased with our new home.

1. Home is cold, even with double panel windows you can still feel the cold air coming from the window. NOT energy efficient. 2. Complained early on regarding kitchen sink, builder refused to change. 3. Yard uneven and unsafe to walk, not leveled properly prior to sodding. 4. Home not cleaned, paint spackle on floors, faucets, etc. 5. Interior doors show uneven areas with dents, and not painted well. 6. Should paint garage without extra cost. Home floor plans are beautiful, but construction, home energy and landscaping are in need of better quality control.

Working with Ken in sales was really good, he kept us informed about the progress of our home up till it was finished. Our building Supervisor Kohl kept in touch with us on each step of the build and corrected any issues that we had along the way. Right now we're compiling a list of items that need to be corrected and will wait and see how that is handled.
