I was delighted with the Pulte experience from first gaze until long after my 30 day walk-through touch ups. The supervisors, workers, staff and sales people are all remarkable. There were a few hiccups along the way which caused a bit of stress: 1. My name was misspelled when it was entered into one the Pulte databases. Thus, while the building supervisor attempted to contact me throughout the building process, I did not have the opportunity to connect with him until my final walkthrough. This disconnection was disconcerting and left me doubting the Pulte Quality Building process. Nontheless, Pulte’s commitment to quality made my final walkthrough an excellent experience - showing me I did not need have to double check or supervise everything along the way. 2. Once I became the ‘property owner’ rather than the ‘buyer’ I encountered another couple of wrinkles, that again, caused confusion. The misspelling of my name in the Pulte database resulted in a lack of communication between the HOA and myself. Although, I asked many questions, it took several in person conferences at the HOA hub to clear things up and to then obtain continuous information from the HOA staff. 3. I was one of the first homes in my neighborhood. The post office was unable to verify my location and thus none of the mailed communication from Pulte or the HOA was delivered, resulting in a further disconnect. Additionally, Google maps was unable to locate my address and all deliveries (e.g. my moving truck, outside vendors and Amazon) could not locate my address which caused additional confusion and distress. Overall experience was wonderful, everyone was very helpful with our paper work. The builders are very nice, love that they come out to meet you and make sure your house was build correctly. Delwebb is the best to live

Excellent home build ad responsive feedback.

I would love to give this a 5 star review but having to try and use the mortgage division prevents that from happening. After 70 + days I went through another lender and was completed in 9 days with a clear to close. Pulte mortgage certainly doesn't like self-employed business owners. My wife and I are so glad we decided to proceed. We love it here. Can't wait for the club house!!!

We were very happy with our builder, Adam Kruse. What a great guy! We were occasionally vexed with some of the forced choices such as carpet in the loft, etc. overall, we are quite pleased.

Beginning with the positive: the onsite construction/project manager Dawnyel was outstanding! She went above my expectations repeatedly and was the one person in the Del Webb-Pulte experience, other than my realtor who was listening to me and anticipating my needs. There’s been a few minor problems with the purchase: lawn problems with drainage and initial set up of sprinklers, but she’s been aware and responsive to my concerns. Made a great recommendation/advice to get my tile grout sealed, which will be a huge benefit when I start living there. She listened respectfully when I was rushed with the closing process, and I needed to be heard. She and Deborah from the Title company understood my issue. The home itself is lovely. I’ve not been able to move in yet, as life has kept me in California longer than anticipated; however, I was never going to be a quick move in. The negative: my Pulte’s sales person, Brian, was terrific in working with me to select and buy the home. I was a cash purchase. I gave my deposit and signed the agreement and was told escrow would be 30-40 days. I was flying back to California on a Saturday. The day prior I asked if I needed to stay for anything. Brian said no that closing would take awhile. Two days home and I get a call that the house was closing in 7 days and house inspection would have to be done and a lot of paperwork and I was told by a woman, Nickie??? - I forget now that 3 days after closing all electricity and water would be turned off and I would need to set up those accounts. When I stated to Brian that I needed more time, he dismissed that saying they could close immediately as per contract. I panicked, having nightmares that I couldn’t get it all done. If I didn’t get water, all the Lanscaping would die, though the sprinklers and drainage is wrong and that’s happening anyway. If I didn’t get electricity in time, my house would be destroyed by costly black mold as the a/c wouldn’t be on. I needed to find insurance and Brian said I didn’t need to worry about that and that the house would be fine for a time without insurance. I explained that I had lost my home to fire during renovations and it was uninsured because it was over a 100 years old and new wiring throughout the house hadn’t been finalized yet, so $250k in renovation costs lost and a gutting of my finances as my home in California was a planned investment. Brian didn’t budge. After a few days, realized that the contract I signed said 30-40 days escrow and I refused to allow myself to be railroaded and bullied just to meet Pulte’s monthly sales quota. My realtor and a local friend did the inspection for me. My friend received the keys. My prior property had all been inherited and this was finally a home I was buying and I never got the “welcome home” ceremony, I barely have been spoken to civilly by Pulte’s sales since I didn’t let the sale finalize in 7 days from my deposit. I’m glad I stood up for myself, but I shouldn’t have had to do so. Back to positive: my one truly positive impression of Pulte’s was and is Dawnyel. She made me feel like she truly cared about me being happy in my home. I held off doing this survey as I was so upset still when I got this that I didn’t trust my ability to be civil. I must say that it was a difficult transaction due to my sale of my current home. . Jeremy, the sales agent was great answered all my questions. Greg, the construction manager is very responsive when I had any issues around the home that I needed fixed. The only issue I have was the sales agent manager took a very long response time and held some things up.

Pete, Jason & Chad were great to work with. My only negative experience was with the title company who were not proactive or responsive & did not offer any type of celebratory moment on closing as other title companies do. This is a HUGE investment and there was no recognition from them of the significance of this. Pete and Chad made it a great experience. The only reason for a 4 versus a 5 rating was the experience with the title company. Great in all other areas!

My experience was very good and I am enjoying my new home.

This was about as easy as it gets to purchase a high quality home.

Overall i had a great experience buying the home, One negative thing i like to point out that the salesperson was too negative and and every issue ,in my opinion very minor, like change of paint color and change of closing date, raised was almost a major violation of contract.

Sales encouraged me to select a hilltop lot with a great view - feels like living on a golf course! Workmanship, construction manager were superior. 30 day inspection items were quickly taken care of. Impressive!

We are very happy with our new home. Quality workmanship and great floor plan . Our construction :manager has done an excellent job, following through after closing to address whatever issues might still need to be resolved. Our new home was worth the wait.

The construction manager kept us updated, and the sales representative was always available whenever we had any questions.

It is possible to buy even in these times. You will be pleased that you did. Value is there in your purchase so you will make money should you need to sell in the future. Del Webb is very reputable.

For those who live a long distance from Myrtle Beach, it is important to visit the construction site at least a month or two prior to the planned closing date, and probable again two to three weeks prior to closing. You will want to attempt to resolve any issues prior to closing to the extent possible, and these visits are more likely to make you aware of any possible issues.

We have bought a few new homes in our life. The builder of this home is the best in quality and staff support. Excellent work throughout the experience.

Over all we have been very pleased with the build & purchase of our new home.

There is quality build from the ground up. We visited the build site often and were impressed by the attention to detail and the quality workmanship

Quality of finished product very good. Issues after moving in taken care of quickly.

With supply issues in today's world Del Webb chose to wait for the quality parts (HVAC, Cabinets, ect.) over speedy substitute materials. That delayed completion but we ended up with a quality home.

I chose Stone Creek because of excellent design and great options available for our new build. Quality workmanship.

The electrical plan was rushed and the contractor seemed to think I should already have a plan as to types of outlets and placement. I had not built a home in over 40 years. Things have changed!! Suggest having the electric planning after the decorating plan so layouts and materials are more specific.

Not particularly happy with Pulte mortgage experience.
