It would be desirable for a house costing more than $600 to have a water softener already included, and to choose built-in cabinets with higher quality than metal shelving. But most importantly, the doors would be completely sanded, so that all corners and edges feel smooth. When prices go up, you shouldn't simultaneously feel like the quality is going down. It would also be good to accompany the buyer through the administrative procedures (electricity, water, gas, and also with the HOA or the Castle Group) during the handover, because that doesn't always work out so well. Good value and A-1 warranty service

The buying process was very smooth overall. Most problems were handled well by Pulte. The exception was an error made on the placement of the EV charger prewire in the garage. I was being sent wiring schematics for the garage that were the reverse of the actual layout and when I requested the prewire on the front left side wall it ended up on the rear of the right side wall. We came up with a compromise solution but I ended up having to pay $200 for garage drywall repair. From what I have seen the overall quality of workmanship is excellent. Love My New Home

I bought a spec house, so i didn't choose flooring, cabinets, etc, but i really like everything in my house. They building superintendent was easy to work with and overall it was a good experience. This is the 3rd time that I've purchased a brand new home and Pulte is much easier to work with and the workmanship is much better than the previous new homes. There were a few bumps along the way, but all the issues were resolved fairly quickly.

Overall we were unhappy with the sales person during the purchase process, she forgot some things during our initial meetings that caused problems later in the build process. The designer was great and the construction manager gets 10 stars. But your mortgage division gets 2 stars

Our salesman Art did a good job. He knows how to guide you through the initial purchase. He was responsive especially early on. I did expect to see him at the final home closing celebration but he is very busy. Donna at the design appointment was very knowledgeable and helpful. She really made all our add ons come together. We preferred to do most of our add ons at time of build vs after closing. We purchased a spec home in the final phase of our development. Pulte offered strong incentives to settle quickly. The upside is that we got a great value. The downside is that there are things about the home we would’ve done differently had we been able to customize it at the outset. The construction manager responsible for the home was extremely responsive and helpful prior to and immediately following move-in. Overall, we are very happy with our home.

Working with one of the Pulte Mortgage people was the biggest drag of all, Zero to One star is what keeps Overall from being a 5 star; Quality of workmanship was shotty in a few areas; Trustworthiness was close to 5, but we had to alert builder about things that were promised in written things not done; design center cost were marked up way too high on several items; vendors are way too slow responding to warranty ticket items, then they don't really do anything to correct issues on the first time. The Pulte Mortgage loan processing experience is horrible. Look somewhere else for your loan unless you enjoy being stressed, dealing with ridicuous requests, and lots of mistakes in verbal information you are told and papereork errors. The Pulte built house is fine.

Once you buy your home, a person from Pulte or Del Webb goes through the house with you and then they want an excellent rating and tell you so Be sure before you do any rating that ALL has been completed on your checklist. We were promised repairs but they never came through and this was after the rating! Beware

I don't think my experience is any different from most buyers of semi custom, mass build communities. Terrific customer service from sales office and construction manager. Some parts of the home are done high grade, some done cheap. Pulte warranty is prompt to correct problems. Beware of Pulte Mortgage. They are the worst, and should be avoided if possible.

Decent people to work with

We bought a home that was already built. There was an open lot adjacent to ours. We didn’t expect the house to be built next door to be a bit less than 12 feet away from our foundation. The builder had done a decent job with building our home. A little surprised that we found a significant bulge in our living room wall but that was corrected before we moved in. Overall we are happy with our choice

Great Quality Throughout the House

I've been in the house 2 months now and am extremely happy with the quality off the house. The attention to detail and quality was extremely well done. I have tons of cabinets throughout the house and ever single cabinet door self closes perfectly as an example. The energy efficiency is also off the charts. Everything is so air tight. My electric bill for June is projected to be $130 for a 2,800 sq ft house in Florida that I air condition to 74 deg and I have an electric car I charge here.

The building process was precise, informative, and extensive. Russ was there each step of the way keeping me informed about the status of the build as it progressed.
