We love our home and the community. If I have to be picky about what Pulte could do better. Little things such as they will not run the gas line past the house so if you get the screened in porch I had to pay $475 to a plumber to extend 12 feet. Most of the bathroom and kitchen cabinets when you open them hit another cabinet, wall or appliance. Not enough room. Pulte would not install dimmers, Some downspouts are on a grade that the water is eroding the yard. They do not cover that I have to pay someone to dig a pipe to drain water at bottom of yard.

The house was move in ready, clean, and had just a few fairly minor "fixes" that were needed. Overall I am pleased with both the design and quality of the house.

Our construction manager Brandi made the difference in creating a great experience. She was responsive, caring and gave us great guidance. We were very thankful for her and her friendship. Some of the issues that were found when we had our pre-close walkthough led me to believe that the pre-close quality control was not the best. The kitchen sink had a leak. How was that not found? There was insulation stuck in the main water line of the home. Our private inspector indicated that there seemed to be a problem from one of the toilets and the project manager said he would have all the plumbing checked. Clearly that didn't happen. They had to dig up the beds in the front of the house to get the lines cleared. As far as we can tell, everything was fixed, but some of the items never ...

Del Webb provides a good list of standard models. The models limited and the selections are limited to what Del Webb can purchase in bulk. In 85 % of the selections they are acceptable. But Del Webb does not support unique taste. Be different is not encourage. Being unique is an add on.

Overall the process went pretty smoothly. My new home is well contrusted and passed an impartial review. I was pleased with the effectiveness of the sales staff, loan offersers, construction crew, settlement services etc. However, I had two issues. The first, regarding the time to select many items for the house took too long and was combersome for a single individual in the time provided. Initial delays were unacceptable

Once we were at the end of the buy/build process things went well. However, the lack of responsiveness from the Sales office and the 2 month delay was unacceptable. Worse was the lack of accountability and owning up to make it right. We pushed to have the build completed by May. The Sales simply dropped the ball and we were forced into a 2 month rental at our own expense. Had the Sales office been straight forward, answered calls and emails we could have adjusted our schedule. We simple got a shoulder shrug from the Sales office.

This is my first home I’ve actually had built. Everything with the build went smoothly. I wish there were a few more selection options with certain things like the grout color for the tile. Also more areas pocket doors could have been used. My main issue is with the yard set up, not the house. I should have looked around more since I have a berm and a drainage ditch right out back, plus a utility box on both sides out front. It would be desirable for a house costing more than $600 to have a water softener already included, and to choose built-in cabinets with higher quality than metal shelving. But most importantly, the doors would be completely sanded, so that all corners and edges feel smooth. When prices go up, you shouldn't simultaneously feel like the quality is going down. It would also be good to accompany the buyer through the administrative procedures (electricity, water, gas, and also with the HOA or the Castle Group) during the handover, because that doesn't always work out so well. Good value and A-1 warranty service

The buying process was very smooth overall. Most problems were handled well by Pulte. The exception was an error made on the placement of the EV charger prewire in the garage. I was being sent wiring schematics for the garage that were the reverse of the actual layout and when I requested the prewire on the front left side wall it ended up on the rear of the right side wall. We came up with a compromise solution but I ended up having to pay $200 for garage drywall repair. From what I have seen the overall quality of workmanship is excellent. Love My New Home

I bought a spec house, so i didn't choose flooring, cabinets, etc, but i really like everything in my house. They building superintendent was easy to work with and overall it was a good experience. This is the 3rd time that I've purchased a brand new home and Pulte is much easier to work with and the workmanship is much better than the previous new homes. There were a few bumps along the way, but all the issues were resolved fairly quickly.

Our salesman Art did a good job. He knows how to guide you through the initial purchase. He was responsive especially early on. I did expect to see him at the final home closing celebration but he is very busy. Donna at the design appointment was very knowledgeable and helpful. She really made all our add ons come together. We preferred to do most of our add ons at time of build vs after closing.
