Great build and preclosing experience

Our experience with the sales reps, both Pamela and Bob at DWOC were great. They were very attentive and helpful throughout the build process. Also, our Project Manager Daniel was excellent. Great attitude and thoroughness with us every step of the way. Unfortunately, we aren't impressed with the after closing Customer Care Team in regard to one person who has handled the issues that arose after closing. We've reported things that needed addressing and their lack of follow through has made this part of the Pulte experience frustrating. There needs to be some accountability in this area, ...

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback! We are so glad to hear Pamela, Bob, and Daniel provided great service throughout your process. However, we're sorry to hear about your concerns after closing and we would like to help. We would appreciate it if you could please email customersupport@pultegroup.com with a brief summary of your concerns along with your address and contact information. Thank you again. ^KH ...

The overall experience in the build and relationship with our construction manager Christian was excellent. However the workmanship by the trades and the quality of the materials used especially the doors, cabinetry, paint and overall finishes are disappointing and in my opinion subpar.

We have only been in the house under 2 months now and we are happy with our home which was a spec home. We like the lot and sitting on the patio at night enjoying the views. Other than wishing the lot was bigger and the house had more closet space we do have some minor complaints: 1) The garage floor is pitted throughout the garage which is going to require an epoxy coating to hide. 2) There are a few light switches in hard-to-reach places. 3) The trim painting must have been water down since it has very little gloss/shine to it compare to the touch-up paint that I purchased. Night and day ...

We are happy with our home but have some unfinished landscape work and trim work that needs to be addressed, very difficult to get anyone to make it a priority or receive a schedule that they can meet. Waited four hours last week and contractors never showed and no communication from anyone.

The sales rep we worked with was awesome! He knew where we wanted to be and some of the ‘must’ items in the home and worked hard to get us there. The build/ construction process was a little frustrating as we had a few changes in the construction manager the 1st couple not being really responsive. The one we ended with was great but, unfortunately, we missed some opportunities to have corrections made in the build process. There are numerous spots where attention to detail was missed. For the cost, there should be better overall quality of work. The community is great and so far, the ...

Holding out on rating the builders a five star until we see if they fix the water issues many of us are having. We bought in here because there was a very low possibility of any flooding. But...in the two months we have been here we have seen some very real issues that could cause major problems. Apparently, Pulte is on it and we hope that they find a resolution. Then ...five stars!

Sales agent and design center agents were great to work with. However, I wish you could be allowed to make changes to the structural piece within 2 weeks way before the permit application

Pulte seems to rely almost exclusively on subcontractors. My opinion is that these contractors need to me managed a lot more than Pulte is doing now to improve on their quality of work, productivity and consequently on their cost of work. The construction manager is stretched too thin. More supervision and overnight of subs definitely required.

Not going to lie, buying a new build can be very stressful. you think it will be easy because you get to pick what you want but that is the hard part. Upgrades are not cheap other builders include things this builder does not and vice versa. Highly recommend having an inspector come with you with each walk-through you will miss things and after you moved in it takes a bit to get things fixed if needed or if even whether it’s determined part of warranty or not. But overall the house is pretty, would prefer a different lot but of course everything cost more. The community is great and overall ...

The hvac system had issues with the heat and after they fixed that the air conditioner didn’t work now it is just noisy. The drywall and painting team has been in to fix several places and then paint. The landscaper did a poor job in the back yard.

For the most part working with Pulte was a good experience. However, we were never informed about the location of support posts in our finished basement. Now there is a post/column 3 feet from the center of the stairs. Very poor planning and very unattractive and the people we’ve talked to say it would have been easy to move this post a few feet away. At closing we agreed that there were 5/6 issues that still needed attention: 1. Our contract states the the cold air vent which is high up in the entryway would be moved down closer to the floor. 2. The screens in several windows do not fit ...

The whole building process went very smooth for me. My building manager did a really good job of keeping me informed on things. The only negative I have is that once you close, you are kind of forgotten. I've been in for over five weeks and I still have a list of small things that need to be done - and several touch up paint issues.

This is the second home we built. Once we got past a few misunderstandings in the beginning of the sales process things went smoothly. The build process was awesome. Now that we are in the home the warranty people are NOTY GOOD. Things are taking forever to get fixed. The vendors are unreliable. They don't show up, and when they do they are unprepared to complete the job.

I’m disappointed. I’ve owned new homes before . Pulte is either building too fast to keep up, or they’re hiring lower class workers, or they’re going downhill. I’ve never had such sloppy, messy, incomplete, unfinished work before. We personally have had to repair so many builder “oops” because getting them out to fix seems to be a problem. There are also a lot of larger “oops” we are waiting for resolution.

Their contractors do not keep a clean or tidy work space. Debris was left everywhere inside and out during the buildout. Their finishing work was no better than an inexperienced DIY person. Carpentry was horrible. We purchased cabinet in the entry way from garage that I could have built better with the limited tools I have. Each shelf was at different spacing. The painting was horrible and had to be done a second time.
