Wasn't as great as I expected

The overall purchase and closing was great. No issues at all. The overall home and the build is not the same experience. The structural portion of the hoe was solid. The cosmetics of the home and workmanship was not as expected. Very disappointed in the cabinets damage and the paint and sparkling job.

You need to fix issues faster. Currently this is totally unacceptable.

The process was 99% positive. During final walk thru there were several things not completed and missed. Made a mistake after our construction manager asked to sign off even though not 100% then the next day got an email from him asking for a good review, we did. Then still waiting to get things fixed. Dishwasher was not hooked up at all. So I had to do it myself…. Door from garage to laundry room was missing a seal so bugs have easy access, had hire a exterminator…

The home buying process is rather easy. It is trying to get things fixed that were noted on the walkthru that have not been completed.

We notified our project manager Steve of issues with our kitchen cabinets during walkthrough, at move in and after move in. Still has not been repaired. Almost 90 days later we finally have an appointment for repair after far too many emails and phone calls. There was non communication through the process - finally got the Customer Service Manager to assist. Thanks Tatiania! Still had to wait another 3 weeks to get an escalated schedule. Week 7 our microwave started spewing smoke, a board had burnt up. We called Customer Service who redirected us to Whirlpool warranty. Their safety team told us to shut off the circuit breaker as it was unsafe to use. There are no repair parts. The Pulte project manager said he would contact their Whirlpool Representative to see if he could assist in providing options. Crickets! The owner of the appliance repair company indicated if/when we got a new board it could burn up too. No guarantees. After a month of waiting, the safety concerns and no answers in sight we purchased a replacement, Now we have to wait 2-4 weeks for Whirlpool to pick up the old one and provide a refund check. Have a minor floor board issue. Have to wait a month to get that addressed. It is frustrating to see all these same service people driving around in our neighborhood doing new installations and prior buyers have to wait so long. We were so excited to purchase and move in to this community. The lack of communication and delays in repair have been very disappointing. You do not buy a house you buy the neighborhood experience of an active adult community. If you are willing to get involved in everything that is offered then it is a great purchase. If not you can build your home substantially cheaper. That said our community activities can extend your lifespan

Working with Ken in sales was really good, he kept us informed about the progress of our home up till it was finished. Our building Supervisor Kohl kept in touch with us on each step of the build and corrected any issues that we had along the way. Right now we're compiling a list of items that need to be corrected and will wait and see how that is handled.

The agent we used Evo was super Professional and made the purchase of our new home as easy as it could be. I have bought and sold four homes to date and none have been as pleasurable as this experience has been. Moving forward, your construction management team and my care manager has not been the experience we would’ve hoped for. We love the community and the amenities. Our home is beautiful and will work through some of the missed steps.

Dawnyle was amazing and listened to us. However our warrantee team just kept giving us excuses for the poor workmanship.

Everyone I dealt with was very nice, but my problem is the quality of materials and the Lack of knowledge and experience I feel that being a bunch of Latin workers out here someone should be speaking Spanish to them to explain to them and training them how to do things the correct way with the workers that were working on the house

Neighborhood is neat, and facilities are excellent.

The purchase process was good

Pulte is a great builder. Quality is good. Responsiveness to issues is very poor. Need quicker response to homeowner concerns. The response to issues in two weeks prior to the closing was excellent and the closing was done as scheduled. Response prior to the two weeks prior to closing was poor and has been zero after closing. Need better personnel to attend to homeowner concerns after closing.

The home buying experience was great . However there are some issues after closing that were reported to customer care and it has been over a month and no one has shown up to take care of it.

DO NOT SIGN FOR CLOSING UNTIL ALL HIT LIST ITEMS HAVE BEEN FIXED!!!!!!!!! DO NOT HAVE ANY WARRANTY ITEMS YET BUT PROCEEDURE LOOKS VERY CUMBERSOME AND WAIT TIMES TOO LONG

I don't know too much yet---we are just moving in.

Our construction manager was great and very responsive during the build process. The breakdown is the AFTER closing, just resolving issues with construction and things that wouldn't necessarily be noticed until living in the home. i.e. our pantry shelves were not attached to ANY studs. Had to have drywall removed and supports put in and new shelves installed.

Not enough qualified and experienced tradesman out there to get the quality as expected. Just take a look at your customer care center and look at how many follow ups for building flaws there are. It’s rediculous. Do it right the first time or don’t do it at all.

Our closing date was pushed back 3 times. Poor communication with requests and issues. Overall the house is fine, about 18 items still need to be addressed.

The buying process has very much improved, however, the overall quality of the workmanship is not comparable to the process or the price. After having the opportunity to now closely, physically view the finished product, I'm finding a disappointing lack of attention to detail. I concede that I'm confident the dwelling itself is structurally sound, but the devil is always in the details. It's the small things that count like thoroughly covering the newly installed floor while painting to avoid speckling, or having professional cleaners actually clean up the unavoidable settlement dirt of construction upon completion, or insuring the caulking of gaps and holes that allow bugs to enter--simple, but telling. That said, the saving grace is the community itself at large. The people are great and the grounds are beautifully managed to say nothing of the plethora of organized activities and events. 1. Home is cold, even with double panel windows you can still feel the cold air coming from the window. NOT energy efficient. 2. Complained early on regarding kitchen sink, builder refused to change. 3. Yard uneven and unsafe to walk, not leveled properly prior to sodding. 4. Home not cleaned, paint spackle on floors, faucets, etc. 5. Interior doors show uneven areas with dents, and not painted well. 6. Should paint garage without extra cost. Home floor plans are beautiful, but construction, home energy and landscaping are in need of better quality control.

Give yourself plenty of time for the mortgage process, it is slower than you think.

I love my home. The buying experience was flawless and well organized. The sales group are wonderful The builder was always available and a pleasure to deal with. Also Jeff is great and responds immediately to my calls. My issues are the installation of cabinets, tiles, paint, door handles, etc. It looks like the workers rushed and did not pay attention to detail. There was caulk everywhere. For the price we pay, the house should be near perfect.

My wife and I visited Del Webb for six years and Tanya was the salesperson we dealt with. Tanya is amazing and played a vital part in our purchase.
