We were thoroughly guided through the lot selection process. We were kept apprised of building progress through weekly picture updates. We had 2 phone meetings and one Facetime meeting with our building supervisor, who thoroughly answered all our questions. We felt confident that the building process was going well, even though we were unable to come to Florida to see the construction in progress. We did feel that the upgrade selections were quite limited and overpriced, but wanted our new home to be built so that we would not have to change out anything once we moved in. Our need to complete the design process while here selecting the lot was graciously accommodated. We have been in our new home for 6 weeks now, and everything is working as it should be. The whole process of purchasing and building this home was seamless, despite living a long distance from the site. Weekly phone updates, photos, and open lines of communication with our sales consultant and field manager were critical for making us feel invested in the process. Of considerable help for us was to thoroughly research buying/design selection options on the Del Webb website prior to visiting to purchase, especially if you don't live in the vicinity. Many decisions are required within a short period of time after purchase, so being familiar with design options and being prepared to make those selections was extremely helpful. ... More

I am loving my new home. It is absolutely perfect for me. So far, I have found the workmanship to be excellent. The floor plan is innovative and very efficient. Since I was downsizing, I was afraid I had brought too much stuff but surprisingly I find that I have plenty of storage in this house, As much kitchen stuff as I have, there was a place for all of it. This kitchen is one of the most efficient I have every seen. I do wish they had an option for built in ovens so they are at eye level but other than that, I love the kitchen. My friends that have visited all say they have "house envy". And one of them has already bought the exact same floor plan for me right around the corner. All the neighbors are great and there is so much going on here that you don't ever have to be bored or lonely unless you just choose to be. This was a good decision for me. ... More

We liked that our new home was absolutely move in ready!

As a spec home, this is not bad. I would have customized a bit more--range hood is too high for anyone under 5'2" and I'm 4'11", number of master bathroom electrical receptacles--need to take down full mirror and put up two over the sinks to make room for another outlet that is not over a sink; need to add an outlet where there is a big empty space where a cosmetic mirror could be on a cabinet; need to add an outlet to the private toilet area as a night light in there would be great; the master walk-in closet is passable but many shelves are too high for regular use unless one takes the ladder from the kitchen where the cooktop vent is too high and moves it into the master closet--yes, buying two is an option but one should not be up on ladders if over 55-65 in my opinion. There should be more than one linen closet with a three bedroom home--probably split the front coat closet to accommodate. Other than a few things I will need to have fixed on a punch list, all is good as far as houses go. ... More

Fast and efficient. Home was done earlier than we expected.

Our assigned Construction Field Manager was Exceptionally good. He was professional, informative and addressed our concerns along the entire way.

Nothing is perfect in life. This home is close. Our golf course lot is gorgeous. Helping us place our home on the lot was a crucial part of our build. The fact that we have had past experience with home construction helped us be more understanding when problems came up.

We love our new home! It has exceeded our expectations. Plus Pulte stands behind their product. It's my third Pulte home.

Everyone with whom I have had contact has been great.

Very happy with my house. I had a few very minor issues that were taken care of within a week of calling them in. I want to stress that these were very minor. I'm very happy with Pulte and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a quality built house.

The Sales person was very helpful. The field manager always called to tell us what phase of the building was in and when to expect what the next step will be. Will be glad when we can get the yard and landscaping in. Our suggestion is to new home buyers, is to get the taller bathroom vanities, and the comfort highth toilets.

The entire experience with our Del Webb home has been great. The representatives were always available and knowledgeable about every question we had, were never rushed, and if we had requests for changes no matter how trivial they may have seemed (e.g. light switch location) they were accommodating. They assigned one person to be our daily contact through the build process and had regular meetings with us at the house to walk us through each phase. Though we haven't had to use any warranty services as we've found no issues in our first couple of months, we have met the warranty representative who came by the house to meet us and give us all contact information should we need it. The only reasons for the 4 star vs 5 star is the home is more expensive than comparable non-Del Webb neighborhoods, but we were willing to pay to be in this community, and it has been worth it. The other 4 vs 5 is due to them still working through some of the subcontractors that aren't top of the line. Though they seem to be closely monitoring them and quickly replacing those that are not reliable. Great experience and a beautiful and well built home! ... More

A beautiful home in an outstanding neighborhood.

We are pleased that Carolina Orchards welcomes a family atmosphere.

We are enjoying becoming new members of the Del Webb Community. This is the first home we had built out of the seven previous homes owned. Workmanship is not what it has been in the past, but the staff has been Great helping find solutions to correct small defects.

I had a very good experience with the purchase of my home at Del Webb. What made it exceptional, was my project manager who oversaw the whole process from beginning to end and beyond! Thank you, Bobby for all you have done!

Our house was finished in just a few months on time. Last-minute details were addressed satisfactorily. We are pleased with the overall process

They do what they tell you they would do in a timely manner!!

During construction the response was amazing and items were quickly restored. Here we are a little over a month and that amazing responsiveness is gone. We are finding minor issues and keep getting told too bad. You missed during walkthrough not our problem. Once papers are signed seems to be a totally different company to deal with
