It was strange buying something as intense as a house on line but the people here at Del Webb Lake Oconee were amazing. All concerns were immediately addressed and resolved and they sent weekly pictures of each phase of construction. Did I mention how wonderful all the people in this community are?

It was unfortunate that Berkeley County caused delays in issuing Permission to Occupy permits. This resulted in extensive delays for home owners to move into their homes. Del Webb continued to manage this issue and was very responsive to inquiries as to when the issue would be resolved.

The house is/was as expected. We have had an issue with the Oven Microwave unit. Oven does not heat above 260 degrees and we anticipate receiving a replacement on 11/14/22 which is 58 days form our move in date of 9/22/22. I asked our construction manager for paint codes, exact color or interior touchup paint and never received s response. I also asked for the trash cans for the trash cabinet to which there has been no response. We finally located the correct size and bought them ourselves. The sod we received was infested with grubs and bugs and we have had to resod the lawn. Otherwise we love the house. ... More

Our first new home buying experience in 35 years. Supply chain issues delayed our delivery dateThere are always issues with any new build, but in our case they have been minor. Billy, Justin and Zach were very responsive to our needs. Several amenities with this 55+ community have yet to be built. We did purchase the home when they first came on the market and have seen appreciation of our home price. Our sales rep Devon has been great and very responsive even after our closing.

We were especially pleased with our del webb sales person Dustin and with our final construction manager Matt.

Overall we are more than very pleased with our home. Our only disappointment was our closed date was pushed back several weeks to the exact date we were leaving on an overseas cruise. We were offered no flexibility on moving up the closing date even by a week. The response to any after closing issues has been excellent. Luke was top notch throughout the building process. We would build a Del Webb home again.

The buying process had a few glitches. No changes can be made to the exterior of the home after the initial contract is signed. We wanted to make a change on the front door to have glass in it and the change was not allowed. The communication within the organization is poor!

Our Construction Manager, Michael was great. He was very responsive to correcting the few minor issues we had. He knows how to get things done and is willing to help you out as you are moving in. This was a huge change from our dealings with the sales person Janet. Sh was not helpful, rude and lacked any kind of willings to help us in the home buying process. She is why there are not 5 star rating.

We dreamed big, kept it real, and they got it done! Despite a global pandemic, supply chain challenges across the country, a national worker shortage, and the highest inflation in 40 years, we are in our Del Webb home, and we love it. No sugar coating...this was a tough time in the home construction industry and our supervisor Mike P. delivered. There are punch lists with any new home build and our team dealt with them professionally and in a timely manner under tremendous stress due to outside economic and workforce challenges. Generally happy with our purchase. The materials and appliances are middle tier and some of the workmanship on the molding could have been better. But very happy with the responsiveness to any concerns raised and with the clubhouse and its staff.

I had a good experience with my new home. Jordan was very helpful with the process; Natalie was excellent in helping me pick out options; the construction manager, Mark, and his team were always ready to answer questions or keep me posted on the progress of my home. As a recent widow, this was a brand new experience for me, and everyone helped to make the process as simple as possible. I am looking forward to this new chapter.

I did not realize how energy efficient a home could be until now…

Both our sales representative and project manager were very helpful and responsive with all of our questions and concerns. The home came out beautiful but did have several items that needed to be corrected after closing. All of which are being addressed with no hassle. Workmanship was very good and and finish was above average.

Pretty good buying experience completed on time

Bill O, our sales rep was OUTSTANDING!! He did everything he said he would, guided us through the process, dealt with all our concerns, made the whole process a pleasure, in spite of the fact that it took over a year from contract to delivery. However, some of the subcontractors were not altogether satisfactory, tile and painting for example. The tile was not properly washed after grouting, which left spotting throughout the house, and is impossible to remove. The warranty service is all but nonexistent. I've done most of the punch items myself.

Del Webb homes are very beautiful. The quality of the workmanship in some exterior and interior finishes could be better.

We moved in two days before Hurricane Ian. Construction was great! No issues as a result of the storm. Attention to detail was lacking. They knew we were not moving in until 30 days after closing. We had requested - at least a month before closing - that the wire shelving in the master closet and the pantry be taken down in order to allow California Closets (CC) to do the installs. This was two weeks before move-in. I arrived the day before CC installs and the shelving was still in place. The shelving were finally removed the morning of the CC installs. We had to clean the house the morning of move in. The dryer was not hooked up until two weeks after move-in. The dishwasher still doesn't dry the dishes. Warranty coming in another week. ... More

We should have been provided with the choice of upgrading some features of the house. Otherwise, the experience has been highly satisfying.

Fixed contract..no surprises. Great home value. Overall very happy.

From the beginning, our sales agent, Renee, was fabulous. No pressure, just straight forward info from her. She was helpful from beginning to end. Laurie was our mortgage processor. She was wonderful. Always called us back quickly. She was on top of everything. Alex was out construction manager. We enjoyed working with Alex. He was always prompt and courteous. He addressed any issues prior to closing and we have even spoken with him after closing.

Overall experience was good. Attention to fixes thus far have been good. Workmanship needs improvement in some areas. Attention to details is crucial for home buyers and should be for workers as well.

The construction mgr. Jake was a 10+, from our experience most others in the various departments did not live up to expectations. With that said the journey was worth it and we couldn’t be happier living here.

The positive: everyone we dealt with on the Pulse staff was wonderful. They were responsive, answered questions faithfully and promptly, and were just downright a pleasure to deal with. The not so positive: the lot we bought had already had the slab poured so we were unfortunately limited in terms of the options we could get on the house. Because that plan could not be changed, we had to tear out the master shower and install a tub right after we moved in, because my wife needs a nightly bath for her rheumatoid arthritis. The builder did not allow some changes we thought reasonable; we would have preferred better flooring, but Pulte did not give us that option. And the lack of color choices for the cabinetry was also disappointing. In sum: despite a few niggling and negative details, I think we'll soon learn to love the house. ... More
