Had a great experience with Pulte sales dept, design, mortgage and construction. We feel the closing was rushed at end of year and the house fell short of expectations. Several big items were not complete. (i.e no master shower for 2 weeks after closing. ) And evidently noone told the construction crew on the closing date bc the house was wide open when we arrived the next day. And still had debris left on floors and counters, hole in wall where dryer gas line was. Along with other items addressed the week we was also moving in. Warranty advertises a few working days to contact you but it's been over a month and nothing heard. Our first time building and know now we should have been more assertive and direct and pushed closing until everything was complete and to standards. But doesn't eliminate Pulte's responsibility to deliver a finished product either. ... More

We were scheduled to close in January 2023, but construction was hurried to close on December 30, 2022; not a very convenient time to close/move. It seems the rush to complete the house in 2022 reduced the quality of workmanship as there were many minor discrepancies that should have been resolved/avoided if more time were permitted for completing the house.

Considering how stressful buying and moving into a new house can be they did a great job job. As with any new home there were a few minor issues and I was very happy how responsive they were and everything was made right quickly.

We arrived at our home a few weeks after close. The master shower was not draining, so I emailed customer service. Within 1 hour a CS-maintenance person arrived to unclog--what turned out to be massive amounts of grout hardened. Customer service responsiveness was great; but, why didn't Construction Walk-Thru test all drains, appliances and running water?

The home buying experience was excellent. We had a good salesman. He responded to our concerns quickly and effectively. There was one part of the process we were not happy with. We had to choose the home model, lot and lot before selecting the interior options. When we went to choose the options (carpet, tile, attic space, spare bedroom etc. we had to limit our options due to the cost. We asked if we could select a less expensive elevation so we could have a couple of options we could not afford otherwise. We were told we could, but by that time the price of the elevations had increased. It would have been nice to lock in the entire price of the house at the same time. The building experience was excellent. Our project manage was superb. He kept us informed and responded to our concerns quickly. We were allowed to see the house every Sunday. The house is well built. The one item that was not done well was the caulking, quarter round and painting of the quarter round at the floor. It was sloppy. ... More

We signed with Del Webb in April and closed by December. They broke ground in August and the communication and speed of the build were quick. Del Webb's team, from our sales consultant to our building superintendent, were very good and they were eager to address our questions and concerns. We understand the difficulties in building a home and the issues created particularly by the subcontractors. Our home is not unlike others, and we too have a punch list that we will work out with the builder this first year after moving in, but looking at the home quality and experience overall, they did a very good job, and knowing this, we would be happy to build another home with them in the future. ... What started off as a very stressful experience was rectified in a timely manner by my Customer Care Manager. There were numerous issues missed prior to closing and it was difficult having the repairs noted and taken care of. Then my Customer Care Manager contacted me, came to my house, identified the issues and immediately assigned them to the pertinent contractors. Everything was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I am extremely grateful for Patrick and so happy in my new home.

Front of home was not insulated. Can't believe contractor would have moved on from home knowing he didn't complete the insulation process. Also, 1 interior door installed was not the same as all of the other doors in the house. Also, can't believe the carpenter would have installed door knowing it wasn't the same as all other doors. As far as value goes, I believe the price of house which we purchased is now being offered at a lower price than when we purchased.

The realtor that sold us our home was misleading. We were led to believe our edging and lawn mowing were included in the HOA fee and after we got there found out they were not. In talking to our neighbors, many of them said they were also misled about this issue.

Our project manager did a fantastic job.

Overall the experience was positive. No major issues and quality of construction is very good. Value is very hard to assess in an inflationary period but seems in line.

Pulte seems to care about the quality and seems to be very honest and truthful. We had a great salesperson and construction managers. They did do what they said they would do. Only negative I’ve run in to was getting things done after closing thru their warranty department - they are most likely short-handed and overworked. If I had to do it again, I would not close until every single issue (punch list item) is done satisfactorily - no one has any motivation to work on a house that has already closed and warranty department is slow.

Beautiful home, modern design in an exciting new community. Good and speedy customer service. Improvements in quality control can help make the full experience even better.

I am glad to be in my new home finally. I was disappointed by 3 months delay in completion of my house but really liked the way the house looked when I moved in. There are couple minor but annoying issues which Customer Care Center is helping me to resolve in timely manner. All together I would recommend Del Webb experience to others.

Started out very shaky, but in the end I was somewhat happy although I end up spending $30k more than originally quoted due to time delays. Maybe it was the joy of seeing the end of the project.

The Pulte personnel I worked with were professional and helpful. They were also supportive as we worked through each step of the process which made the process of buying a house easy.

Overall our experience was good. We were not initially impressed with the sales team in the beginning. I believe this was due to more potential buyers walking through the door than agents to service them. Once we were in the contract process, things improved. Everyone we dealt with at DelWeb were great, especially the design consultant and especially our Construction manager who was fantastic. After closing we had some additional issues pop up that we didn’t pick up on during the pre closing inspection. Those issues were immediately addressed. The construction manager was responsive to identified issues and special requests. He was always professional, honest and dependable.

Quality standards could be improved but better than other builders. Energy efficiency is also lacking - Minimum requirements only.

Our construction manager, Jacob was fantastic. Although we were over one thousand miles away, he kept us updated through weekly emails (with pictures) and phone calls. It was as if we were right there! During our walk-through prior to closing, he helped us identify a few minor issues and then he ensured they were corrected before closing. He really cares about those of us who make his houses our homes. We were truly blessed to have Jacob as our construction manager.

The sales manager and construction manager are very responsive and taking the action on it once the issue has been reported.

House design need some improvements, such as no windows in the bathroom and kitchen is dark. The kitchen needs windows for light and fresh air. Refrigerator space is too small and could not fix regular refrigerator.

Our original home was going to be delayed due to permit issues at nassau County. Our dell Webb salesman, Lance provided a quick move in option that allowed us to move into our new home 4 months prior to our first contracted home. Dell Webb handled all the documentation to switch homes so everything went smooth all the way to closing. Great experience

Overall, we are very excited to be in our new Del Webb house and community in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Our experience throughout the process has been very good. Our project manager did a great job in working closely with us to address and resolve any concerns before the house closing. The follow up with minor issues has been handled in a timely manner. We highly recommend our Del Webb community to others,

We would definitely recommend Pulte to family and friends.!
