While the process took a little longer than anticipated due to supply chain issues, Del Webb generally did a good job communicating progress and addressing issues as they arose

Although we knew it was not a custom home, their building process is inflexible. We would have liked satin paint vs flat, a few more appliance choices such as electric/induction stove top.

Your sales representative is key until you approach closing then your field manager is key; both did to be good/professional/knowledgeable or you’ll be unsatisfied with your new home purchase process.

We were able to close and move in on last closing date date give. Approximately 6 weeks before. Had several building issues but not major Most have been addressed in Tinley fashion. We enjoyed working with our construction manager and trusted his recommendations and judgement.

Turnkey approach to home buying

Material Supply shortages and higher than usual demand caused many delays with the construction process. I'm happy with the final produce but 5 month delay in the construction timing.

The quality of the structure is very good but some of the finishes leave room for improvement. The field manager, Zach, was great! He always responded in a timely manner & remedied the issues. Some of the issues relate to the lack of labor availability…a sign of the times.

If you asked me, what would make the process of buying and subsequently moving into my new home better? I would tell you to have patience, because you will need it. Some of the trades people need to pay a bit more attention to detail, and to make sure that their work meets the standard of what the home buyer expects. The follow up care is responsive and will address any issues. However, I feel many things could be avoided if those trades people placed a bit more care in their work. Overall, I am very happy with my home and really like the community. It’s just those issues with the quality of some of the work by some trades people that I have an issue with. We looked at a lot of developments and I really wanted to build with Pulte and found a great location and start the building process. We had some hiccups that were quickly resolved a little later in the process and they delivered a very nice home. As far as production builders they did a great job. Our field manager that was assigned to us at the end was awesome.

The pandemic delayed the process, but we are delighted with our new home.

The contractor was very cooperative and thorough.

Very efficient and responsive

We had a great experience with pulse home builders but the Pilates mortgage experience was horrible. After we had provided all paperwork several times we never got the ok to close till the day before

Very qualified builder and adherence to the schedule. Only issue was in performing the finished , but structural was superior.

The builder was upfront about everything, and worked with us to get what we needed in place - colors, dates, prices. They stayed very close the their date and worked with us to close on a tight schedule. Overall, it was a good experience with the builder, and the location is perfect for us.

Enjoyed working with the Pulte PM/superintendent.

Tried to shorten material delays

Several major mistakes in construction (framed wrong back side) all corrected but caused delays . Great construction manager. Luv the finished product . Paint and trim work was great. Responsive to any repair requests.

We had a great experience with our Salesperson and our Construction Supervisor and they were a tremendous help throughout the whole process! However, the mortgage team let us down! They repeatedly asked for the same documents, then on the cusp of closing asked for additional and more complicated documentation that was hard to pull together! It almost delayed our closing! They need to get better organized!

The trim and carpet subs did not have good workmanship

There is no way you can make a mistake purchasing a Del Webb home no matter how hard you try. With the number of retirees in the U.S. each year looking for a nice place to live you will always be ahead of the game and will never be without equity in your home.

Overall, happy with purchase. They delivered on time, which was good in these COVID times. Only issue I really had was with the quality of the lawn. They did a very poor job of leveling the lawn, and I have many holes where it would be easy to twist an ankle and get injured. I have watched other lawns get laid in our neighborhood, and it seems to be a consistent issue. Otherwise, the overall build quality is about what I expected. I believe the neighborhood will be very nice, when complete, and the homes are reasonable quality for the price point. First rate Team. From the Sales Team to the Field Manager, everyone was receptive and excellent to work with.

We had the best project manager supervising the contractors in our home. Most responsive service we’ve ever received.

The home and process was pretty good overall. But sadly Erika in the sales office once contracted was MIA. Got my name wrong on the few emails sent and really underwhelming on a 1/2 million dollar home.
