My interactions with my construction manager Dave have been always been very productive. He was very prompt in responding to my questions. He even replied to me when he was on vacation.

There were lots of hurdles to overcome. The designer was incredible. Closing was pushed back 3 times. The first notification came so late that my belongings were in storage and I was due to leave my state in 3 days. I was compensated so that's a plus.(Closing was over a month delayed) Then, we closed and I could not move in immediately because there was an issue with the front lock. I closed on Friday and the door was repaired on Monday. Further, there were other little issues. I contacted the customer service team and BINGO! That representative was on top of my list. Truly, Megan restored my confidence in the process. From flooring, tiling, concrete work, lighting and carpentry, all issues were addressed and resolved in a short span of time. That's quality! So, be prepared for multiple delays. In the end, everything does come together and you'll be happy that you took the plunge. Happy home buying! ... More

Question everything and get things in writing. The sales rep specifically stated that I needed to get my down payment in asap to secure everything , especially since the interest rates were going up. I did this but my interest rates were not secured. There was more that should have been done to do this and she never said anything about it. As a result it cost me an additional $5500.00 to close my loan.

This was my 3rd new build but the 1st being single. I can it was just a easy as when my husband was here to help with the negotiating.

We love our new home and our construction manager Nick has been great to work with. Home was delivered dirty however and warranty issues have been difficult to get addressed.

We liked our Sup who got us in our place just in time. It seems that the house is well built. There was some difficulty getting updates at the outset.

My experience will not be the same as other buyers since I am also an employee and made an agreement that some things could be completed after I closed so not sure you should share that. I think an improvement Pulte could make is to do a better job of checking things like drainage and lines as I had issues with drains being stopped up due to containing flecks of paint or something similar, possibly drywall. I was told that nails had also been previously found in lines. In addition, I found it very hard to believe that I paid over $500,000 for a house and they do not even give you a shower rod for your guest bathroom so when I had the drainage issue in my master bath, I could not use the other shower as I had no rod! That seems like an inexpensive item that they may want to consider giving home buyers! I will say that James, my construction manager, has always been very helpful in trying to resolve my issues in a timely manner, keeping in mind that it was sometimes dependent on the contractors and when they could fix the issue. Another suggestion is to put the towel rack closer to the entrance of the zero entry shower as when you are in the shower, you cannot reach the towel! There is a blank wall between sink and toilet room so towel rack would be nice there too! Finally, considering the price of the house, I also could not believe you do not get a light in the flex room so I have not been able to use it except when there is sunshine outside and I can open the blinds. Bought a spec home and Overall very happy with purchase but would have liked to have made a few changes which were not allowed.

Ian, our salesperson and Ben our building supervisor were fantastic to work with. They were very helpful and responsive.

The overall experience with the builders was a 10. The Pulte mortgage company was a terrible experience worked with them for 10 months for a no we can’t find the mortgage. The new mortgage company we got funded in 2/5 weeks.

I have encountered several issues that need to be corrected, so far they seem to be responsive to getting the issues fixed. Somewhat frustrating at times but right now my expectation is that all issues will be resolved in a reasonable amount of time but you do need to stay on top of them with any open issues.

Missing pulls, vent over oven, missing molding in the home, They did come and fix 4 plugs in the kitchen. Replaced dented dishwasher and microwave.

I love this house !

Sales manager and construction manager were very nice and very responsive. They were pleasant and easy to work with. Customer service manager is also responsive.

I have a mixed review. First of all the Sales person was outstanding and they were very professional and met our every need. The Construction Manager was also very professional and was great with the entire building process and has continued to work with me to finish the list of things still to be done with the house. Where I have issues is with the final condition of the home at closing. It was not finished - Pulte had issues with their contractors not showing up or not having workers available to finish my home. We closed anyway and it was very disappointing. The quality of the home is great - it has been through 2 Hurricanes in the past 8 weeks and everything held up including the power! My feeling about the process is that Pulte sold as many homes as they wanted to and did not realize that the supply chain and their venders etc was not keeping up. This put a lot of pressure on the Construction Managers who were left to take the heat from the homeowners like myself who had homes that were not completely finished at the time of closing. Will Pulte realize that this reflects badly on their brand.? They have good homes but what buyers are left with at the end when their home is not entirely finished at the time of closing is what people remember. A suggestion would be to work as hard at the end of the construction process as they worked at the beginning of the buying process to sell their homes. To sum up my review - we are very happy with our new home - but have bad memories about the process at closing with the house not being finished. Does Pulte read these reviews? I hope so - because they could easily fix this if they paid attention to the entire process from beginning to end to make sure they finished with pride in their product. ... More

They are very helpful and quick to reply when you have questions or a problem with you new house. Customer service has been great.

It was strange buying something as intense as a house on line but the people here at Del Webb Lake Oconee were amazing. All concerns were immediately addressed and resolved and they sent weekly pictures of each phase of construction. Did I mention how wonderful all the people in this community are?

It was unfortunate that Berkeley County caused delays in issuing Permission to Occupy permits. This resulted in extensive delays for home owners to move into their homes. Del Webb continued to manage this issue and was very responsive to inquiries as to when the issue would be resolved.

The house is/was as expected. We have had an issue with the Oven Microwave unit. Oven does not heat above 260 degrees and we anticipate receiving a replacement on 11/14/22 which is 58 days form our move in date of 9/22/22. I asked our construction manager for paint codes, exact color or interior touchup paint and never received s response. I also asked for the trash cans for the trash cabinet to which there has been no response. We finally located the correct size and bought them ourselves. The sod we received was infested with grubs and bugs and we have had to resod the lawn. Otherwise we love the house. ... More

Our first new home buying experience in 35 years. Supply chain issues delayed our delivery dateThere are always issues with any new build, but in our case they have been minor. Billy, Justin and Zach were very responsive to our needs. Several amenities with this 55+ community have yet to be built. We did purchase the home when they first came on the market and have seen appreciation of our home price. Our sales rep Devon has been great and very responsive even after our closing.

We were especially pleased with our del webb sales person Dustin and with our final construction manager Matt.

Overall we are more than very pleased with our home. Our only disappointment was our closed date was pushed back several weeks to the exact date we were leaving on an overseas cruise. We were offered no flexibility on moving up the closing date even by a week. The response to any after closing issues has been excellent. Luke was top notch throughout the building process. We would build a Del Webb home again.

The buying process had a few glitches. No changes can be made to the exterior of the home after the initial contract is signed. We wanted to make a change on the front door to have glass in it and the change was not allowed. The communication within the organization is poor!

Our Construction Manager, Michael was great. He was very responsive to correcting the few minor issues we had. He knows how to get things done and is willing to help you out as you are moving in. This was a huge change from our dealings with the sales person Janet. Sh was not helpful, rude and lacked any kind of willings to help us in the home buying process. She is why there are not 5 star rating.
