Nice home overall; however, issues take longer than expected time to be resolved due to getting the subcontractors to return and fix the problems.

Overall homes are good, there are few places where they don't look great.

Overall, the experience was very good. There were some quality problems with painting/caulking/grouting and splattering of paint on the hard wood floors. But the house is well constructed and closing process was very efficient.

If it weren't for Jerrad I would have had a very negative experience. Even though things were late arriving in the building procedure he would keep me informed of what was going on.

The home model was fitting us well as retired individuals. The construction is very nest.

We had many options for the interior and exterior for upgrades which makes the home more customized. All of the people that we worked with have been very good to work. Our sales agent - Janet was the best!

It was great to see the house while being built. However, Pulte does not consider the buyer very well - requesting I travel on Thanksgiving week. The time to visit should be better planned along with closing time. I was fortunate since Pulte worked with me on the timeframe.

I enjoyed working with the entire team at Pulte. Although the home was delayed, the final home was beautiful; worth the wait. Ed and Adam helped through some rough spots and delivered the home I wanted.

Downsizing after 35 years in your home is a complicated process but the sales and construction field staff made our move to a Del Webb community a positive experience. Thank you Siobhan, Josh & Zach

We received our home in great condition

Because we have a punch list still in progress I was reluctant to complete the survey. My responses are therefore hedged a bit. Still amazed that drawer and cabinet pulls were not included, nor were ceiling fans. Ultimate resolution of our punch list will determine the final quality and value answers.

It was five days short of a year from buying the house to closing on the house. Supply problems worker shortages and other factors all contributed to the problem. Pulte did a good job considering all these externalities and it would be hard to have expected a perfect experience. We’re glad to be in our new house and look forward to living here a long time.

Overall, our process was very satisfactory. Materials and fit and finish were very good. We have built 6 homes and this experience rated high on the list. Be sure to make sure you cover all deficiencies prior to closing. After closing little things are fixed. We have a major situation and it proving to be harder to remedy.

In this day of home buying/building and supply issues, Zac was the one we turned to for updates, questions and soothing. The experience was probably the best it could be given the situation in the world today. The only reason I couldn't rate a 5 is due to the build time and a few communication issues during construction.

The people that we worked with really seemed to care and tried to make the home buying experience a positive one.

Very responsive to our concerns

I was more impressed with Pilate staff than I was with the quality of the home. Everyone in the sales office, the field managers and the mortgage division were delightful to work with. They seemed genuine and professional and always responded in a timely manner. Since I’ve moved in, I’ve had some minor issues and they have been addressed quickly, for the most part.

It was a bumpy road during construction. Project manager unresponsive to issues found in house during construction. Warranty group now fixing those items after we moved in. Felt not heard during construction and it’s quite inconvenient with a husband at home on Hospice from Alzheimer’s. I’m really not happy living in a construction zone with items raised during construction now being corrected. It’s very disruptive and difficult because of my husband’s illness.

Del Webb has chosen a beautiful location in Fuquay Varina to build homes. Del Webb takes pride in beautifying it’s property with lovely flowers and trees throughout the area It’s a lovely place to come home to.

While the quality of the materials used for and in our Del Webb home is very good and we LOVE our beautiful home, we are disappointed with the workmanship evidenced by the number of annoying repairs & corrections needed within our first 90 days of homeownership. We think homeowners can expect a few adjustments as part of any post-settlement home. However, we have an an exceptional number of annoying repairs, fixes and adjustments in our new Del Webb home. Building a home requires coordination of a extensive number of activities, accessing materials and working with suppliers, all of which are mind boggling but home builders are very experienced at managing all of the activities needed to deliver a COMPLETED home. While we have had NO SERIOUS problems, which would be issues that effect the appearance or functionality of any feature of our home, we believe Del Webb deserves 4 STARS for the number of annoying issues to address in our new home. ... overall, I received lots of communication about the house building process. my questions were always answered till understood what I was asking. It may be just the climate of building houses nowadays with everything very rushed. I wasn't happy with the painters or paint that was used, and the concrete work could have been a little neater.

I would stay in close contact with builder and the process. So there are no surprises .

I would have given 5 stars all the way around if not for the new competitive blind bidding process that was implemented to purchase the lot. This replaced the old policy of purchasing the lots at a fixed price on a first come first serve basis. I was first in line for a spec home lot and was waiting for it’s release when Del Webb switched to this new policy. Due to this new policy I had to overpay for what the lots were originally valued at. I wanted into this community so I bid accordingly to win. This was obviously a response by Del Webb to the crazy economy and real estate market. As far as the buying and building of our home it was 5 stars all around. We were assigned a construction manager and he was fantastic, he provided updates once a week with photos and he was always available for questions. Even after closing he has been available to us for questions with regards to the operation of some of the home’s systems. The quality of the materials used in the construction is very good. Overall, we were happy with our buying experience and are happy with our home. The quality is better than some other homes we have seen built in the area. Communication from the builder could have been better. For example, if you want to get your mortgage from someone other than Pulte, make sure to ask what information they need and when. We felt like we were forced into a mortgage with Pulte Mortgage, although the rate was very good. Pulte Mortgage is difficult to work with. When it was time for our appointment for upgrades and choosing color schemes, we were only given partial information ahead of time so we felt pressured to make quick decisions on those things we had no information on and would have chosen differently if we had the needed information beforehand. Upgrades are more expensive than they should have been, in my opinion. Also, we payed for dedicated 20 amp outlets in the garage. 20 amp lines and breakers were put in, but we only got 15 amp sockets. We were told they can’t or won’t fix that. Our home came with a wet bar option. We wanted the cabinets, but no sink and were told that wasn’t possible; yet the neighbors were allowed to eliminate the sink and get the cabinets in their home. Why the difference? So a buyer needs to work hard to make sure they get what they really want. The landscaping and sod leave a lot to be desired. I would recommend having an outside inspector inspect the home before purchase and at 11 months. Pulte is more likely to fix the things in the inspection report and the inspector will often find things the buyer misses. Having said all that, I do not have any overall regrets about purchasing this home. ... More
