Homes are basically built very well, but at the same time they go up fast. Home buyers are given ample opportunity to stay abreast of plans, changes, and overall progress. COVID-19 has affected some aspects, and we wish we could have somehow "gotten the jump" on things like landscaping and window coverings so they could get started near closing. But no regrets here!

We started with some bad experiences in sales. When that changed we seem to have missed a lot of info. There was alate start on our home and that has caused some problems, but overall we are well pleased.

The overall construction and value is great. The detail work was a little disappointing as I've started seeing things. Tape adhesive remains across much of the vinyl. Some nail holes on door frames not filled. The paint job was terrible. As we painted, we found areas of the walls where there was no paint! Also pain spatters on the vinyl and window glass. Some poor drywall work, nothing super obvious. I've cleaned everything except the tape residue.

Builder was very timely to any issues that needed attention

I used my own inspector for 2nd opinion. Issues he found were minor

The various teams have been great to work with and have continued to go out of their way to address our questions and issues that have arisen in a timely manner. Our primary concern to date is the lack of care in much of the finish work. Luckily, they have been quite responsive in addressing the issues, it's just disappointing that those items weren't done with care in the first place.

Project mgr did a great job.

The actual builder was great. Some of the materials are substandard - was @ bit surprised.

I feel through the cracks at every stage of the process. I don’t know if it was because of COVID or not.

Quality of workmanship and explanation of home needs, etc.

Being on the East coast during the construction was difficult and didn’t have the best updates of construction.

I enjoyed working with the sales department. Working with the field managers can be trying as they like telling and not listening.

If you’re looking for a truly custom home, pick a different builder. If you’re OK choosing from available builder floor plans and available builder design and decor options, then you’ll enjoy your experience. Just don’t ask to move a wall or choose a custom paint color they don’t offer. The answer is,”no.” And if you have any sense of modern style, be prepared to change out every light fixture In the house after closing. The builder options are very bland, even the upgraded ones. The sales team and the construction team are quite friendly and very responsive. But their hands are tied by corporate, when it comes to any nonstandard requests. The neighborhood and neighbors are great, and will make for a fun and comfortable retirement. ... More

This was an overall good buying experience. Be very careful when evaluating the upgrades. Sales wasn't always thorough in explaining additional options out there. I recommend looking at the existing homes and see what else they have. Ask a lot of questions.

Overall the experience was good. At times it appeared that the salesperson (Rita) was not in tune with notices that were sent to me. The Pulte representative (Steve) was very helpful and kept us up-to-date of the progress.

We were kept informed of the building process in a timely manner.

We have now lived in two Del Webb communities and we have had good building and closing experiences

Workmanship on building home was good. Finishing items had a lot to be desired. Things not noticed until you are actually living in home. Location of outlets in rooms could be better. Wish certain options were offered (walk in shower, stove top with separate oven/micro.

I completed the building process from 1300 miles away. It would not have been possible without a construction liaison who stayed in close contact.

The rep that did the virtual walk through (because of Covid-19) was excellent really knew his stuff. There were a few minor issues that need to be addressed and based on what I have experienced I expect them to be handled in a timely manor. Because of the Covid we are transitioning to our new home in phases we hope to be settled in soon. I would highly recommend the people we worked with. We are putting together a punch/warranty itemized list that needs to be addressed. I expect that it will be addressed and resolved to our satisfaction. Check back with me in 6 months and 1 year.

All in all a good experience

House was finished on schedule. Everything was finished including the planting. There was no punch list. After we moved in there were several minor issues that were addressed very promptly. I was surprised by a $550 want bill for the first month especially since we were only in the house for three weeks

Smooth process, quick to respond, quality product

Everything went according to the schedule laid out at the start. Problems were small and addressed quickly.

We are very happy with our home. It seems to be built very well. However, Pulte Homes does a LOUSY job with the lawn. It’s not rolled and it’s so lumpy I’m going to have to have a load of dirt brought in to even it out.
