Very disappointed in the quality of the home for the price we paid. Cheap materials used for doors and other cutbacks that were made are obvious, such as trim. All upgrades were ala carte, knowing that the buyer would not want the basic options that were presented. Very disappointed in the way Veterans are treated. Unless you state you are a Veteran from the first signing, Pulte would not accommodate the discount for them, however, when changes were made to the contract for upgrades, they were willing to change the contract since the price would increase. The house is, in general, well built. We signed our contract in May of 2021 and were given a timeline for completion of mid Dec 21- mid Feb 22. The house was not completed until late June 22 (13 months after signing and placing a down payment. The 2 glaring issues are: 1) no radiant barrier installed and 2) the premium dishwasher we paid for is not yet installed. The excuse on the radiant barrier was "supply chain issues". This was not true as radiant barrier was available at the time. It was just not available from Pulte's usual supplier for about a 2 week period. So we are now stuck with a less efficient home for the life of the house. The dishwasher also was not installed due to "supply chain issues". We closed on the house June 27, 2022 and it is still not installed. The plumbing, electrical and structural aspects were well done. There were a few cosmetic issues that were all taken care of prior to closing. ... More

The quality of the service, materials, planning with execution were outstanding. Could not be happier.

Kenny and Andrew are excellent and know what they are doing . Unfortunately their communication is below standards . Every step of the way the wrong materials were used and had to be done over . Wrong counters , sinks , backsplash , toilet .

Horrible experience. We understood that buying a model home was buying a home “As-Is”, we assumed things would be in working order. Hot water heater didn’t work. It was clogged with dirt from sitting for 6 years. You would think they would have inspected beforehand. We specifically asked about the hot water heater and we were reassured all had just been inspected. The oven sounds like it’s about to stop. The fan is very loud and goes forever after cooking. It usually lasts until after we eat our meal. We were told we are on our own for the appliances. Refrigerator does not make ice. Not Pulte’s problem. The knobs on the cook top do not go. They are made for a different type of cooktop. The words are upside down so I have to guess what level I have the heat on. Again, we’re on our own with that. The cabinet doors in kitchen and bathroom do not match. They are a white white and our cabinets have a gray tint. Too bad for us. Had a bathroom flood due to the clean out valve in front flower bed was not capped off. When they went to repair, it was discovered the pipe wasn’t installed properly. They did manage to make this repair and they did replace carpet in the 2 bedrooms damaged by the flood. There is a plate under dishwasher that was missing at closing. We were told it was on order. That’s not true, cabinet people came by and were unaware. Dryer was blowing cold air. That was installed incorrectly. That was a quick fix. The list goes on. We also had ants and roaches until we could get someone out to spray. Oh, and the mystery switch in the kitchen? No one could tell us what it was for. I finally figured it out when doing dishes and I cast a shadow on the sink. It’s for the missing light over the sink. We took the plate off and there is wiring there so perhaps it’s wired and they just didn’t install light. Who knows. But again, not their problem. We are in our own. Based on our experience, I would not purchase a Pulte home or ever purchase a model home. ... More

I have been very disappointed with the response for warranty work. My garage door does not work properly. Was reported two or three weeks ago - still no response from the garage door people.

The gentleman, James, in charge and over looking the building of our home was professionally responsive during the building process. The time frame was as expected, with the real only delay was the windows. We have been in our home almost a month, a few issues have been recognized by us, missing white strip for one of our front windows, bent window frame, no hot water for our tub, one stained paver in the driveway, and painting of the bottom edge, alongside the two sliders. The hot water issue for our tub has been fixed, not the other items mentioned in the above statement. The individual with Pulte Warranty Team is someone who needs to retrained as how to deal with the public and pay attention to details with the home owner. He does not leave a good impression and or I don't think he knows that he is frustrating to work with in relationship to home owners. ... More

Although there were bumps along the way our overall experience was very good. From our Salesperson Lisa, to Construction Manager Shane, the people we dealt with were good at their jobs and went above our expectations. After closing we have been pleased with the warranty service team in taking care of our needs.

Don’t hesitate to buy a Pulte Home! Every thing went smooth and very quick. From the first phone call with Matt in Sales to the walk with the Building Super before Settlement, they all could not have been more responsive to any questions and requests. Mine was an out of state purchase so that made it challenging at times but Matt supplied videos and pictures to guide me thru. LOVE my new townhome!

Overall.... we had a good experience and grateful to be here!

Everybody has been very positive and helpful. Obviously we had a lot of questions during the buying and then waiting process, but we always got quick responses either from the sales office or, later, from other people (at the the pre-closing walk-through, the construction manager was great in addressing our questions). The Customer Care & Warrant Service personel is (up to now) very responsive.

From start to finish, everything went smoothly and as planned. We love the finished home. Dave was the best field manager. He stayed in touch routinely and even visited us after move in.

Our buying experience went well. From start to finish. Home was completed within the expected time. We were updated weekly with our building manager. Our building manager was excellent. He did everything he possibly could to make us feel confident that our home was being built correctly. He covered all our concerns real well. He was very professional and honest. The home is very nice and the company has a good warranty program. The warranty manager is very good also. He is very professional and does his very best to take care of our concerns. Very pleased with home. We are very very Blessed.

Not enough qualified and experienced tradesman out there to get the quality as expected. Just take a look at your customer care center and look at how many follow ups for building flaws there are. It’s rediculous. Do it right the first time or don’t do it at all.

Overall, the purchase of the home was easy. We had to go through the bidding process for our lot and would prefer a set price instead. Sales consultants and design studio personnel do not always tell you every option available, but are pleasant to work with. Document everything with an email. Our construction manager was very responsive and available all the time for questions and issues. At pre-closing, we found many issues that were not corrected before closing. Fortunately, we were assured all problems will be fixed and now have appointments with vendors to take care of my three typed pages of problems. ... More

The overall experience ended up being disappointing due to delay after delay. Pulte oversold their lots and over promised the completion timeline, combined with labor and material shortages the results were disappointing. In the end we are happy with our home but if I had it to do over again I would consider another builder.

Terrible experience! This is the fourth house I've built and I've never experience poor customer service, workmanship, etc.

Pretty much a very frustrating experience. Poor workmanship and very poor response at area t number of repairs. I would not recommend this builder to anyone.

We, my wife and I, already provided the good and bad experiences in a previous survey. That survey was very detailed. We recommend that someone review that survey for our input.

I believe the builder (Pulte) builds a very structurally sound house. Very well insulated, etc. Our problem is that we got caught in the middle of supply chain disruption, COVID, the hottest market in the country (Austin). It took 14.5 months to build our house. We could not get ANY completion dates on the house until days before closing. A person cant plan a move without a closing date. The finish subs were horrible. The painter was doubly horrible. Pulte's CM was a really good and hard working guy but he was overwhelmed with a huge workload. the clear solution would be been better oversight on the vendors and subs. The purchase, design center, walk through process, closing operations were all top notch. We were very pleased with everything except the house took too long to build.

I think my process in building my new home went pretty well considering i was out of town but i was informed from start to finish i really enjoy the updates that i recieve along the way i am impressed with the workmanship of the home and the quality of the materials used to build my home the overall experience has been great it is kind of bittersweet that it has come to a end but on the other side i have this beautiful home to come home to

The entire experience was great. We moved from out of town and were sent photos and updates on a regular basis!
