Before I closed, I had concerns about the granite island countertop. I was assured the sealing issue would be handled. It was not done to my satisfaction, but when I emailed Del Webb about getting the countertops resealed, I was told it was a cosmetic issue and one I would have to handle. The problem is moisture leaves a temporary stain and other things, even though cleaned, leave a stain. I have had granite countertops in homes since 2002 and never had this problem. The spokesperson at Del Webb told me my email reached them on day 31 of the 30 day limit and they would do nothing....not a positive experience! ... More

Overall, we were happy with the home we received.

Don't count on closing until 4 to 6 weeks later than the date you're given initially.

Sales really did a good job BUT Sign says new homes starting in the low 200s,mm Always ask what is the lot premium, will pay more for a nice lot Always ask what is the average price increase by % of base buyer spend on upgrades, to get a really nice house you will need to spend 20-30% on upgrades for nice stuff. Not much bending on the PULTE way of building, schedule changes etc.

I don't believe she new what she was doing....lied to me and very unprofessional. Also I have called 4 times and the cable line is crushed so we have no internet Cody told me not to contact him so I called the office and they emailed him I also emailed no response.

Everything was great until we got ready to close, our lender was ready but Del Web was not. Painting on the interior was fair at best.

Overall, the experience was pretty good. The building process adhered to the timeline and, overall, construction was good. The interior finishing is not fine-tuned and definitely could have displayed better craftsmanship. I will be submitting several items for warranty review. Also, simple additional options like framed mirrors in secondary bathrooms, additional towel racks in the master bathroom, and more shelving throughout should be added. It makes no sense that Pulte does not offer these options. Pulte should consider that some senior-aged people have the desire and financial ability to customize a home much more and would like to do so. Also, more attention to finishing details would be great! Finally, the home should be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before turning it over to a new owner. ... More

Sales agent was outstanding, construction managers not so good. They have very poor followup. I say that because in six months we had three of them.

I was impressed that all the target dates were met especially during these Covid times Contractors were always honest and kept me up to date on progress. Over all a very positive experience

We have built six homes and this house is a nice home but to be honest, some of the quality of the product that we paid top dollar for was very disappointing. The paint for example is the cheapest grade of Sherwin-Williams there is. Had to have the bulk of it touched up and we still need to address some more paint issues. It totally will need to be repainted and the carpet we had to upgrade to is quite chintzy and disappointing. We do not feel we got our moneys worth. We know we paid for the location which we love the community, just wish the home had a little higher end offerings for the price we paid. ... More

The foundation and frame of the house is rock solid, but the attention to details not so good. Dozens of nicks, scratches and dings throughout the house, on the walls, doors, door frames, baseboards, window sills, and even the tile floor had several holes like the size of a drill hole. Very weird. The house was finished during Covid-19, so I suppose it is possible getting skilled workers may have been difficult, but I now have a long list of minor but irritating repairs to be made, mostly cosmetic. The biggest issue is the windows are not sealed properly, i can feel cold air coming in from several windows. ... More

Our contact person was really great. He kept us informed every step of the way and was very accessible and helpful.

Our overall experience was very good. Everyone we delt with was very professional. Still waiting on punch list items. We hope they will be done in a timely manner.

Overall good experience. Unfortunately we bought off floor plan. Design center could have been better educated about the unit.

We had to build our house virtual because we were living in Florida and didn't want to travel because of COVID. The initial experience with our salesperson wasn't what we expected. Once the building experience started and we worked with Daryl (the project foreman) everything went smoothly and Daryl couldn't have helped more. He was awesome and responded to my questions in a timely matter.

While are superintendent Matt was great, there were several issues with the quality of the contract work. Most notably, the plumbing and the painting. All issues were corrected, but could have been avoided with better quality contractors. The painters were just sloppy and messy.

Monitor the construction from scratch. Check finish of work done. The Loft installation of HVAC was poor - the unit is fine but its installation is not up to standard and appears unfinished, also the site was listed as a store room but the installation blocks any entry to the possible storage area - management/planning ???

Angelica has always been quick to respond to us and address our concerns and issues. We are still waiting for some responses regarding warranty work so we shall see....

Design choices are decent but limited (we replaced several lights already because they don't fit our decor and no other choices). Construction quality and materials are lower quality. I am very disappointed in the quality of the drywall and painting, fit of moulding, overall construction (we have several walls that are not square!), the tile and grout is poorly done. I think they use unskilled labor for a lot of the work. We were unfortunately unable to be at the house as it was constructed and did not find these problems until after we moved in. I think many of the issues will be corrected (they seem to be responsive to issues), but disappointed we have to deal with such things in the first place. If you can, rent an apartment and check on things as it is built. Foremen are very helpful, but overworked. ... More

Overall, the experience, once project began, was a good experience...Project manager, Jerry, was responsive, attentive, knowledgeable, and addressed any concern(s) quickly...If he didn't know the answer, he promptly found the answer... On the downside, responsiveness to items that need addressing after move-in, have been less attended to...The followup to first 30-day walk through still has many items with no applied remedy/remedies to items (appliance, landscaping, tile work, etc)...Still waiting...

In the beginning many things should have been thoroughly discussed and explained instead of assuming I knew everything about building a home. Things like what the different elevations meant. Telling everything that was extra vs what came with the house (standard). The quality of my home is good but only gave 4 stars as some items were not completely done. Example when we were changing out light fixtures a few we loosely hung. We corrected that when hanging up my fixtures. Time turn around on requests could be more timely. Your people need to know when I as the customer should make a call to get something fixed and I find out your person should have made the call to begin with. Once that person made the call it was corrected in a few days. Other instances happened but you have an idea of what I’m talking about. The sales staff at Del Webb Wilmington was outstanding all around; totally professional and friendly and helpful. But Pulte throws these houses together as fast as possible. The builder contractors are paid by the job, not hourly, so they just slap them together. Then, they bring in the professionals to fix whatever the homeowner is able to find. Most of us know to hire a building inspector at the 10-month mark so we can submit all our warranty claims before the one year warranty runs out.
