The Dove Mountain Del Webb is a very attractive community. The homes and landscaping are beautiful. The model of my home is exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is the actual buying process. Since I was moving across the country and had many details to handle, I felt I was pushed to move along and instead of working with me on a timeline for buying and moving, Del Webb was unyielding on their timeline of signing papers, materials selection, and finally my closing date. Mostly good quality. The process for changes before closing was mostly not an option and too complicated and somewhat confusing after closing. Making changes after closing if at all possible, in our opinion, takes too long to get a response from the management board. Good attention until closing. Slow response and communication after closing. The phone numbers for help with problems after closing that is placed on the inside of the doors below the sink, are too low and not convenient for older people to see and access. First, our Field Manager was excellent. The problems we had involved substandard work by several subcontractors, some of which became difficult and frustrating to correct in a timely manner. Some significant items had to be redone and some required protracted negotiations with Pulte executives, above the Field Manager level, to reach a "settlement".

While all the other homes in my neighborhood have decks that do not face other, mine and my neighbors do. So there is no privacy for either of us while using the deck area. My neighbor mentioned this to the builder as my home was being built. He tells me that he was told that is just the way it is. My floor plan is a reverse of my neighbors. Had my home been built with the same floor plan orientation as my neighbor this would not be an issue. The only saving grace from this, is my neighbor and I try to respect each others privacy when using our decks. But we should not have to do that had the ...

The home is engineered well. The A/C hardly ever runs, even when it's 90F outside. The person who helped us make our selections at the design center understood our desires for the appearance of the interior, and was very professional. Our salesperson was very professional. The closing process was quick, and easy. The only post move in issues that we are working through are cosmetic. Communication about, and timely resolution of our issues could be better.

The sales staff and initial builder support following purchase were excellent. We are also extremely pleased with cabinetry, flooring and carpentry. Minor issues with interior paint, especially small areas of repair, which were poorly done. Landscaping issues have been especially difficult to resolve. It appears COVID has warranty service backlogged, delaying responsiveness to some issues

We liked our sales agent immensely. The purchase process was simple and went smoothly. We did not feel that the design center gave us enough options to get exactly the home we wanted. We ended up settling for items in the home that we are not truly happy with. Also every additional, non-included, item from the design center was tremendously overpriced compared to purchasing from regular outlets and contractors.

I called multiple times sent more than one request written request to have my lawn rolled it looks terrible and to have a plant put in front of my air conditioner both things were promised to me weeks and weeks ago still no reply I'm not even a call or an email saying that we can't get through it yet so I'm really disheartened.there's also piece of granite that should be behind my stove to cover up the hole when my stove was mounted that was never taken care of either so I'm not a very happy customer.

There are some things that were not carefully paid attention to. One corner area of floor at the bedroom door was not grouted. The wall at the edge of one of outlets has a good sized hole that was never fixed. The outlet cover does Not cover the flaw. Numerous paint spots on tile and drips on patio. Tile was easy to clean but patio was too dry to remove. We have no light bulbs in patio ceiling. A service request was made in April and I have a copy but no one showed up to do repairs. Since you asked....Although we moved in 3/26/2020, there hasn’t been any follow up to concerns about issues that required Del Webb post settlement response at our home. The excuse is always Covid, yet 1) building construction nearby for Del Webb continues with workers working shoulder to shoulder, as does 2) landscaping in our neighborhood, as well as 3) business back to normal for staffing at the sales office We finally hired someone to paint out front door. House was not clean: paint, grout and glue on floors, trim, tile and cabinets which created extra time and expense to clean up construction “dirt.” Concrete on outside patio/ porch had blobs of concrete and red mud stains.; doors nicked on edges likely when put in; bath tub and shower pan scratched/damaged.. Basically home was put together well but finish work was not what expected in home of this price range.

Pre-sales to Settlement were excellent. Unfortunately COVID-19 hit right as we closed, so the post settlement interactions and follow up could not happen as they normally would. So I am waiting to see how well it goes once Covid-19 affect is over.

My new home doesn't look like the models. My electricity went off early morning on lst full day in the house. Who do I call? Couldn't find GFI to dry my hair. Couldn't start the dishwasher. The garage floor is filthy. The bottom kitchen doors look like they are fabricated. Part of it is peeling off. I would like doors to be like the larger doors. Hole in my driveway. We were really looking forward to our DW home and experience, unfortunately we moved in during the pandemic. DW/ Pulte did everything they could, with safety a top priority, but our pre-closing was without a representative and a lot of pre-closing items had not been attended too. I have confidence they will , but it is discouraging when you don't have a lawn or any landscaping for months, the clubhouse is rumored to have a significantly delay, and communications to get real answers is not happening. I had great difficulty getting a closing date for my new condo purchase. I had a home to sell and had to pass up a good offer because I didn't know when my closing date would be for my condo. I ended up accepting an offer that was a lot below the offer I had to pass on.

Home buying experience was very good. Sales and building teams kept us informed throughout the entire process. However, given the premium price of the condo units, the craftsmanship and quality of the materials used is just adequate even with upgrades. Customer Care Manager is fantastic. However, getting replacement items under warranty takes a long time. A couple of obvious defects should have been addressed before the sale date.
