we are pleased with our new home. it was completed on time and a lot of attention went into the engineering and energy efficiency.

We bought in a Del Webb community in Vegas years ago and knew we would like Sun City Mesquite. We have not been disappointed. The community is beautiful and our neighbors have been wonderful.

The quality of the stucco finish on my house is really poor. Everything else is acceptable.

Make sure your sales associate keep you updated on changes that affect the sales agreement.

The whole experience from start to finish was a good one. From the sales process, mortgage process and building process, this was by far the best and easiest home buying experience we have had. The deadlines we were told were met and we moved in right on time. There were a few workmanship issues like misplaced and mising doorstops, paint not completely done in a couple of areas, paint left on window frames, and stucco issues to name a few, but all the issues were minor and probably a result of the trades hurrying to meet the deadlines on a Friday night. All in all, so far we are very happy with our decision to go with Del Webb for our new home construction. ... More

We had previously purchased a 3B / 3BR Dunwoody Way without a loft as a spec house but this is our first time through the entire build process. Our expectations were high based on our previous house. The first lot provided to us would not accommodate our house. So we had to get another lot which cost us a month delay. David C, our building supervisor, was available whenever required, welcomed our input, and was excellent in communicating the house build with us. There were several issues with the new house (please remember it’s easy to pick out the issues): (1) Could not have the interior painted a different color without incurring a $2000 cost for “improved paint quality” (although the Sherwin Williams store said the paint was the same quality, just a different color); (2) The AC compressor contacts were bad as delivered (took several complaints before it was verified faulty and replaced just before closing); (3) The heat did not work after closing (the technician said we were missing a “flame bar” which was a factory part); (4) It took an inordinate amount of time resolving a ceiling / crown molding issue in the sun room; (5) The trim work was really of low quality (done in a hurry rather than done right); (6) We had expected the house to be wired similar to our previous Dunwoody Way but it seems there were several changes we discovered in time to correct (specifically wiring of the island receptacles and the numerous holes made apparently to locate the wiring) and (7). There was a hole in the foundation in the front of the house that could have been repaired better. As I said, overall, we love the house and its construction. There are several design issues we would recommend Pulte consider changing but overall, we love the house. But I t’s taking a little more effort on my part than expected to bring the house up to what I consider appropriate for this level of house. ... More

Del Webb Dove Mountain is a beautiful subdivision located in the gorgeous Dove Mountain area just west of Tucson. Our Pulte/Del Webb home design and construction experience was excellent. We have a beautiful, well-built home in a community full of retired professionals from across the US. We could not be happier! I would have rated Del Webb with all fives but they need to work on paying attention to details. Our new home is well designed, well built and very good quality. However, there were minor punchlist items that could have been avoided if the subcontractors paid attention to detail. The front yard landscape contractor (Santa Rita Landscape) was especially poor and Del Webb should terminate their contact immediately. ... More

Take advantage of the getaway weekend. It was very helpful in making our decision.

Closed when we were originally told the house would be finished. The construction manager was great to work with. Any issues were corrected to our satisfaction.

sales agent gave us misinformation , on numerous occasion's about same item. also, Vitek did not live up to it's obligation in our opinion. we have heard many complaints about them. both situation's resolved. not to our satisfaction , however, let bygones be bygones. Overall, we are very happy with our new home.

I love my house. More timely attention to some issues would be better. Feel somewhat on the back burner now that we've moved in

Very satisfied with the neighborhood and the development. Quality was okay, but Del Webb responded well to any issues.

Over all like what we bought.

Some of the installed product are faulty, but the builder is prompt in responding to try to correct the issue. We had a crack granite counter top with a scratch sink, and are still waiting it to be change. A portion of the shower does not drains correctly. But otherwise, 90% of the structure is in excellent condition. Subcontractors also should explain and give instructions and manuals of their work, for example the pool equipment. Finally the Installation of the smart home was disappointing and at one point it has to be fixed by another builder subcontractor. The cost of the smart home component is very high for what they offer, and the service is not good. Finally, they should discuss some of the landscaping with the new owner before doing it. I have a great experience with the builder and the different directors of labors, which are excellent. ... More

My purchase was not typical. I did not contract to have my home built, it was available because the original buyer could not complete the purchase.

Having to drive 2 hours to the design center was a problem, especially for an over 55 community.

House is solid and construction went well. Our project manager kept us informed throughout the entire process. Our CSR has gone above and beyond our expectations. Biggest disappointment was the lack of options and upgrade pricing available in the design center.

No flexibility and consideration for vase costs when deciding on upgrades

Our salesperson and project manager were amazing. Couldn’t have asked for more.

We wanted a Del Webb lifestyle without leaving Albuquerque. Pulte has amazing floorplans and every home was perfect for us. It was hard to choose. We have been very impressed with most of the home construction. Our supervisor Carlos did an amazing job of keeping on top of our house and answering our questions. Since moving in we have had several small things that need to be addressed. Pulte has been very responsive to our requests. We have little down things will be fixed to our satisfaction. Would we spend the money and do this again? Absolutely. The floorplan is ideal and we are very happy here. We like the Community Management as well. They seem to have everything running smoothly. ... We’ve lived in Sun City for 5 years. This is our third home, but it’s our first new one. We loved working with our salesperson. We found some of the option selection process frustrating because of the limitations. When paying this much for an estate model home, there should be more flexibility. Now that we’ve moved on, we love the lication and the model. There have been some quality of construction and finishing details that should not have happened. When paying this much for an estate model home, I expect both competence and craftsmanship. Sadly, Del Webb has fallen short on both. I hope it improves as we try to get the detail issues corrected. A building superintendent JL was a pleasure to work with. After closing he still took responsibility four items that weren't perfect. The warranty person assigned to me, Johnny, appears to be very knowledgeable.

An active, well-planned community with many activities and immaculately landscaped.
