Make sure all issues are addressed that are found during walkthrough before purchasing the home. Framing, sheetrock and flooring issues are not corrected. The warranty people for Pulte Group do not respond to issues of the home or property in the time frame they give you. Still questionable if they do.

Bought a move in ready model home…appears to be good value getting upgrade features at lower cost. Paperwork was surprisingly plentiful…could drive you nuts. Pressure an no flexibility on closing date. Walk through happened 3 days before closing but punch list was not completed…assured all would be taken care of quickly. Somehow in Warranty process and appears to be wrapping up 4 months later. Jasmine in Warranty seems very helpful:-) One disagreement on guest bathroom tub condition not noticed during walk through…may still get resolved, may not…get help to go over every detail ...

initially we had warm fuzzys, but as the process continued we felt that we were just another sale. We approached this home buying experience as our last forever home. There were issues on our final walk through, that were camouflaged. There are several things I would do differently if I had the opportunity to build a new home again. I would like more than four hours to go over all of the selections that you have to make at the design center. When you are selecting your flooring, cabinets, electrical and lighting and are new at this process it is very overwhelming. The communications during construction was very good. The punch out handling I believe could have been handled better. The post customer care I feel is average according to who is involved. Some issues were prompt but others you get multiple answers and minimal results. I believe due to too many contractors on some items.

Overall the home has met our desires It is NOT a home with great workmanship, or high quality. The option upgrades are very expensive. I would put the value of these homes as average. Our construction manager was excellent, managing much of our concerns in a timely manner. The follow-up by Del Web customer service definitely met our expectations. You have to stay on top of the building project right up until your closing.

Details matter to ensure your options and issues are fully resolved. Seller options are limited and several post close elements were required at buyers expense post move in with local independent service providers to create the home details we wanted.

Follow up about problems not the best

Our contractor and community service guy were great but following through with things isn’t their strong point. It seems once the build is over they have so many others to build that new buyers don’t get the attention they deserve. Still waiting to hear about 4 problems. Two quit big and although they came to check it out promised follow through Have yet to be done.

Everything was going great until we needed warranty service. We had a cracked master BR door. It was a comedy of errors. Many days we waited for a service call. It they showed up it was with a damaged door, doors that didn’t fit & several visits to finally get the door fit, painted & installed. Very disappointing considering we love everything else about Stone Creek.

Community is excellent, but they build A LOT of homes, and the fit and finish is sometimes uneven. Wall insulation is not great; you can hear from room to room. Still, the houses have nice floor plans, community amenities are very good, the neighborhoods are well laid out, and it’s pretty here. Ideally, you’d want more insulation and a little better lasting quality in the homes themselves, but the overall experience and vibes are positive.

I have been in my home for under 2 months. Issues come up that you would only see when actually living in the home. My Pulte customer service manager is very responsive to my concerns. But…..I am noticing construction issues that should have been addressed prior to this home being put on the market. Cabinets, doors lighting, sprinklers. Seems no one has pride in their work. These homes are referred to by some as “production homes”. I went with Del Webb for the quality and amenities. Getting someone to show up to fix an issue- so far a month. Construction around you is difficult when you need to get in or out of your driveway. The board needs to be more proactive about real issues. Communication seems to be an issue here. Once they sell you they are pretty much done with you.
