The only issue is with the responsiveness of the Pulte group to fix the issues with the home. They do not seem to provide feedback and a schedule in a timely manner.

We bought the coffered ceilings in gathering room and pulte refused to paint them as per model. I understand custom paint in model but we paid for the upgraded ceiling and didn't get it. John flatly refused.

Great attention during the build and before closing. Poor response to complete final punch list after closing. Project manager said he’d be available to me up to 30 days after closing to schedule the trades in for the final punch list. He was not available and he did not schedule the trades. Regular service repair people from the community were scheduled instead. The electrical issues (outlets not working) have not been addressed in spite of my repeated attempts to get this done. We have not yet moved into our new home, so I can't comment fully on quality, value, trustworthiness and responsiveness. Our project manager however has been very helpful and very easy to work with, and done an excellent job being responsive. However at least two plants were dead in the back yard a couple of days after being planted. The project manager said that there was no guarantee on the landscape plants.

In my case, I selected granite for the kitchen counters from poor samples and I am not totally satisfied with the finished product. The sample that was used did not include the total design and/or colors included. Very disappointing.

Working with the sales staff & design team was an excellent experience. Regarding the finished home, many details lack quality workmanship. The warranty team, however, has been very helpful in resolving many issues.

Shingles have fallen off our roof twice. Landscaper company planted a dead tree in our front yard and no one responds to our inquiries about it. We have yet to understand whom to contact when we have such problems. When we e-mail Pulte Customer Service, we receive an automated reply saying someone will contact us in 24 hours. NO ONE contacts us. The only person who is responsive to us is Trent our field manager/construction supervisor. He's been great.

Just don’t look too closely. I think some of Pulte’s contractors cut corners where you don’t notice until you live in the house for a while.

Do understand that these are not custom homes but are standard spec houses. In generally they are very nice homes but just a few key areas in construction were disappointing. The OSB sheathing in an area or or two went down to within an inch of the ground and I fear I will have hidden damage from water relatively soon. The fascia boards around the doors, windows & gutters appeared to be a particle board material which I feel will degrade within 10 years. Home is attractive and comfortable. Some workmanship was quite good, such as tile work.However, quality of paint and paint workmanship was not what I hoped. Most fixtures are fine, but some (toilet seats, for example) were What I perceived as very entry level.I'm not unhappy, But I paid a lot and Didn't get "wowed" as much as I expected.

In the sales office the process is presented as easy and fast. The closing date had to be changed twice do to lack of cooperation between my bank and Pulte's multi-business agencies. Unless you have a really good reason to use an outside lender, it may be best to just use Pulte Mortgage. Will probably save you time if not money. Used the cheapest materials possible. When I spend $700K for a home I do not expect to have replace things like door knobs, garage doors, repaint all the walls, etc. in the first six months. If they had spent an extra $20K they could have made it a quality house. Also garage is so tiny that if you park two cars, you can’t open the car doors. Driveway is so short you can barely park a car on it. Streets are so narrow the county is going to impose a no parking restriction because emergency vehicles can’t get through. The tiles in our house came from different die-lots. They were placed poorly where a lot of tiles are up higher in some parts than others. The grout lines go from narrow to wide in same rows. Make sure all issues are addressed that are found during walkthrough before purchasing the home. Framing, sheetrock and flooring issues are not corrected. The warranty people for Pulte Group do not respond to issues of the home or property in the time frame they give you. Still questionable if they do.

initially we had warm fuzzys, but as the process continued we felt that we were just another sale. We approached this home buying experience as our last forever home. There were issues on our final walk through, that were camouflaged. Everything was going great until we needed warranty service. We had a cracked master BR door. It was a comedy of errors. Many days we waited for a service call. It they showed up it was with a damaged door, doors that didn’t fit & several visits to finally get the door fit, painted & installed. Very disappointing considering we love everything else about Stone Creek.

First of all, I've been a realtor in Jacksonville for 18 years and sold many new construction homes. I have sold David Weekley homes, Lennar, Providence, Dostie, Pulte, and Drees to name a few. NONE of my buyers have ever shared with me anything as dissapointing as what I have been through during and after closing. Once the building of the home started we had to keep tabs on the process. Certain contractors were exceptional while others were terrible. Pulte stands by their product though so those items that needed correcting are being handled. Still, overall quality could be better of the construction.

Beautiful new neighborhood with houses that have flaws. Outside trim bumpy and not done with quality appearance. Day of settlement , new floor covered with flaws and glue. Also, vanity tops covered with glue spots. Multiple work orders put in and some not addressed after 4 weeks time , which is unacceptable. Air conditioning condensation putting puddles on floor with no fix available in timely matter.

I would like to share three items of my experience. 1. Very happy with the personnel on sale, manager, site construction manager, mortgage, home insurance and customer service. Everybody from Pulte employees which involve this transaction. 2. Cheap materials provided and bad quality of the home constructed. 3. Compared the price we paid with products we received.
