The purchasing process was very good. The decoration center was great to work with. Selection of colors of various elements was good as long as you like grey, white or black. Not a lot of choices outside those colors. Quality of paint, doors, windows etc. was below expectations. Pulte has been responsive to issues.

I was disappointed with the overall craftsmanship. I had to fix the pots and pans drawer myself, the window openings were less than square, missing an outlet and cover on the back of the house, tile floors are less than even, there was paint splatter on the floors, there is already a crack in the driveway and a chip on the sidewalk.

Overall our experience was good. It's obvious however they are rushing through these homes to get them finished. Some of the finishwork was poor. Make sure you are very thorough on your walk through and find all the issues. Make a list, and keep after them to get them resolved.

Everything was good up to the final closing. The initial walk through had an unbelievable amount of issues. The second walk through was a joke. They didn’t finish most of the items on the list. Tape was still on areas that weren’t correct. Still waiting for items on the list. Promised a closing gift from the construction manager, never got it. Promised they would clean up inside and out, never happened. Left a bucket on the lanai, still sitting there. Broken shovel in the yard, still sitting there. Taking way too long on punch list items. We have had to keep asking/begging for when things will be completed. Each time we re-summarize the list, they only schedule a portion of the items. There should be a proactive system for timely completion without the homeowner having to feel like the bad guy and reminding them of what is left. Seems only time stuff gets done is when we bug them.

Overall the buying experience was ok. Very disappointed in the craftsmanship of the home. The design is great but the quality of the work was very sloppy. Our Field Manager has been wonderful in responding to our concerns but there are so many issues that have not been addressed and are out of his control.

We're happy for the most part with our purchase. There is buyer's remorse when it comes to having some of the warranty work scheduled as well as the amount of items that needed to be addressed. That said, the workers who do come out for the vendors are very good thus far. Some of the work has a shoddy quality to it. There was also a lack of care to protect flooring during work with paint, etc. left on the floors for us to clean or try to clean off. We do love the Brickstone Club amenity center and happy hours. Not my first time buying. Very stressful. I understand supply chain issues, but it was a year building process. The salesman was very good and I had good communication with him. The project manager was not in touch with me unless I wrote him. I am surprised at the workmanship of some items (tiles, caulking). I have a list of issues to be addressed, closed a month ago.

Homes built at breakneck speed with little if any attention to detail. Painters have no idea what a drop cloth is, and I spent a few hours myself doing additional caulking and paint touch up. Some exterior left unpainted. Biggest issue was concrete floor and garage cracks. Project manager despite the above was awesome and clearly cared for customer concerns, issues pointed out during build were attended to immediately. Hopefully warranty reps. will be same (TBD).

House was very dusty with spackle dust when I moved in . HVAC was not working properly but since has been repaired. Sod was not watered well before I moved in and is dried out in patches. Otherwise I am happy with the house and love the neighborhood.

We met with Matt and reported our warranty items, additionally we have discovered some other issues. Unfortunately Matt does not seem to want to follow up with any resolutions or even a call back. I have never experienced such disrespect from a warranty person as I have thus far.

It was down to the wire that my house was ready but it did close on time. The people I worked with were great and it was an easy experience. I have not been impressed with the quality of products used to build the house. I don’t think they are quality that the price of the house should warrant. I have had a horrible experience with my side yard. There is a drainage problem and it stays wet on that side and my side is totally wrecked due to the mowers going through it which has created huge ruts. We felt like everything was overpriced especially for the quality of the work done. The construction mgr has been great getting things scheduled to be replaced, repainted, re-sanded, etc. The problem with that is A LOT of the problems should have been done correctly to begin with. The paint job done by the initial painters was horrible - missed tons of areas on the outside and the trim and doors all have to be sanded and repainted, tons of caulking needs to be done also. We love Sun City Hilton Head and the people we have met already.

We felt good at first blush but not after moving into the house. As an aside, the house was overpriced as was the lot. Sign of the times!! General quality and fit and finish was disappointing. The house was dirty at move in and not move in ready at all. We had to call in cleaning teams to do interior and exterior cleaning to before we could completely move in. My sales agent was wonderful, very knowledgeable, and helpful during the entire process. The shining stars in this community for sure. The construction is below my standards for a new home quality build. Communication was good throughout the process but falls short after you close. Getting the building/construction manager or his supervisor to respond to your concerns has been a challenge. I am not happy with how our whole build went. We were sold a lot that had to wait 4-1:2 months to get approval to build. We ended up completing months after people that signed contracts months after us. Was not contacted and informed as we had to call or got no updates.

During construction the response to any questions we had by the building supervisor was excellent & so was his response to any concerns we had. Since closing & moving in, the response has been variable - a few have been prompt but several others have been delayed or ignored until we repeat these concerns.

The buying process went OK, spent 6 weeks in a Hotel which cost over $6,000. Never once were the VILLAS mentioned and never got help from PULTE as was discussed by 2 different people who knew my situation. Pulte has a good reputation, BUT they are only as good as the craftsmanship!!!! NOT GOOD!! SAFETY.. of individuals as we age I feel is not a consideration. The ELECTRICAL (light switches) are a joke... When you walk into a room for safety in the dark (night) one should have a light switch near doorway that turns on lights in the room the are entering. We really like many of the features of our home and the community is excellent. That being said.... the home building process was extremely long (14 months) and we are still waiting for some things to be completed/ fixed almost 2 months after closing. Pulte was in a real rush to get things done so some craftsmanship had suffered.

Construction went smoothly and on time but the quality of work leaves room for improvement in consistent high quality. The doors in my home were poorly hung with large gaps that can be seen and open for critters like flies and gnats to invade, which is actually happening and we are having to deal with. Warranty Department is slow to respond and unreliable to consistently address issues expeditiously and completely as opposed to piece meal.
