Signed contract in November 2021 and closed December. 2022. Went months without hearing anything. Sometimes felt had no input into what was going on. Salesperson and design person were both very good. Noted lack of agreed upon features and shared them with project manager, but only had them corrected the week of closing. Everything, it seemed, was blamed on supply chain issues. Who knows? Now both project manager and design person are no longer with company. The walk thru with all of the things noted that were to be corrected have now disappeared with the project manager having been released. Overall, we do like the quality of our new home but are concerned about correction of many small things and who to turn to in case of a major problem. ... More

Well, we continue to find things that we believe should not be as that’s not what we paid for. While we do get a response to resolve the issue (not always convenient for us) it’s just seems like lot of issues for a new build.

Our construction manager was amazing. I give a 5 star review to him.he was attentive, personable, and very hard working.

Commitments to dates and handling issues leaves a lot to be desired

Seemed more complicated than our previous home purchases but our salesman has been very helpful. Main dislikes are the appliance brand installed, the rough tile work, and the high tech entry and package retrieval systems. There have been glitches. So far the grounds are nice and building upkeep are good. Workers have been great.

People should know that some of the features in the models to enhance them actually are not available to buyers. People should know that Pule is a huge machine that dictates every step of the buying process. The machine is too large to consider any deviation to their plan by any individual buyer. Pulte reserves the right to make any changes that help advance their plan. We were told we would not be able to close on our house until somewhere between the end of 2-23 and 5-23. That was the time table we used for selling our previous house. Our closing got moved up to 12-28-22. Due to the misinformation we were given we asked Pulte for some flexability in extending the closing date so we had time to sell our home. Pulte responded that they would certainly be flexable but at the cost of $300 per day. We still now own 2 houses in Chaska as a result,which is a huge financial liability. People should know that everyone here on site has been wonderful to work with. People should know that Adelwood is a great community with many,many activiities and they will make many new friends,and is a great place to live. ... More

After the initial deposit on property it took almost 4 months to begin building. The whole process from start to finish was 1 year. Closing date was always "up in the air" and then informed of the date only 3 weeks before. Unacceptable in my opinion. Final walk through, before closing, still needed a number of things to be done. We were happy with our construction site manager as he always kept in touch once the building process started. Not sure if I would recommend Bay View Del Webb to others.

Overall positive. Some instances of poor workmanship.

Whatever date promised, add months. Need to watch every step of build as corners are cut by subs ie insulation not at appropriate lrvel, included features missing. Oversight of sibs and standards are lacking, ie trash behind walls if you open them up. Paying for the community, certainly not the quality of the home.

The "bones" of the house seem to be really good, but the finishing was rushed, and quality of the finishing was lousy as a result. Closing on the purchase was delayed, and they were unrealistic in their completion schedule. Late notice of delay (on the day of possession!) caused a great deal of difficulty. I think it was unnecessary, but their need to capture the sale in a financial period probably drove the process. I hope it was a consequence of supply chain/labour limits. My advice is that if it looks like a lot of word to complete in the time frame "promised" it probably is. Plan accordingly and resist pressure to stay on their optimistic closing schedule. This is our third new home we have purchased. Based on prior two, this one lacks serious attention to detail. Builders main concern seems to be to close on homes as quickly as possible and neglect craftsmanship. Issues such as remaining paint splatters on floors, seams in cabinets with gaps, several floor boards were installed with clear damages, leveling of outdoor grassy areas, tiles grout with uneven colors, granite countertops with very rough surface to point a few. Overall a nicely designed home but could have done better.

House was not ready at closing. Sod was put in the day of closing. No white glove walkthrough at all.

The builder has been really nice in trying to remedy all issues

The construction of the home is well built and energy efficient. It the finishing work we have a problems with especially the painting and cleaning up before walk through. The other problem we had was landscaping, sod. The homes are being rushed through actually so that they can close on homes. The community and amenities are wonderful. We had a great experience with Pulte financing personnel. Needed several work orders submitted for finishing work inside and outside to bring home up to new move in condition. Lack of attention to detail work. The repair workers were excellent and did better job than the building workers. ... More

Obtaining a mortgage from Pulte was like having a financial colonoscopy . Not fun. I moved in at Thanksgiving, still waiting for builder's junk to be removed from my garage.

I’ve been in my home for 7 weeks. I love my home but it’s taken awhile to get here. I believe there can be an improvement in coordination and communication. For the price I paid, I expected a cleaner more customer focused attitude throughout the construction of my home. I needed to escalate many issues three levels above my field contact. He got everything done and more importantly he took ownership until the issues were resolved. That is a priceless character and I truly appreciate his involvement!

It’s is not easy to get items requiring correction addressed

Don't rush the builder but encourage staying on task without cutting corners.

Overall we are very happy with our home.

Experience could have been better if Pulte cared about fit and finish.

When a contractor completes a job, the construction supervisors need to do a better job inspecting. I have 2 light switches that control nothing, and a shower floor that puddles 18” away from the drain. Have requested repairs.

First, love the location and folks in eTown Del Webb are very friendly. The building experience was OK. Our home was delayed which did not shock us but it also sat with no work being done on it for several weeks which was very frustrating. The superintendent we had is no longer with Pulte and the new supers seem to be much better. We feel the quality of the home should and could be better for the price. Pulte needs stronger quality control and higher expectations from their subs. Believe me, I know how hard it is to find workers but if they would hold them to a higher standard and expectations during the build they would probably not have to keep going back to homes to "redo" their work. Overall I would recommend eTown Del Webb but just stay on top of your build, be involved. ... More

Workmanship...not impressed, Closing should have been easy (cash deal) however it was anything but, Many small issues such as wallboarding over ceiling light sockets during construction, initially installing cabinet and door hardware in the wrong finish etc.

Renee, our salesperson was exceptional throughout the process. That's the good. The rest is average. The trades people who built the house really didn't care. There were issues with the structure, electric, drywall, HVAC, cabinets, appliances, doors and paint that needed to be rectified both during construction and after closing. Two months after moving in we are still finding issues. My advice to anyone buying here, GET A HOME INSPECTOR AND HAVE MULTIPLE INSPECTIONS DONE. Lastly, when I need to submit a home repair claim, our representative is responsive.

Lots of either unfinished or wrongly performed items plus rushed to closing
