Pulte mortage was the worst experience in the 20 homes I have purchased in my life. Del Webb no longer cares to take calls and follow up on repairs needed. I gave up. Hope my neighbors enjoy the dead plants in my yard.

I feel there needs to be a quality control process that ensures that one process is completed before another begins. I had an experience where my shower floor was not ready to be tiled. It was tiled when there was a hollow area around the drain. Not what you would expect for a $500,000 home.

Overall we are happy with the new house. We are a little disappointed, however, with the number of issues needing attention after closing, and the slow response to getting the repairs made.

Had Lot of delays from product availability and manpower. Did get me in to new home before booted out of old one. Quality was not job 1. Walls not square, certainly noticeable on tile flooring. Notice more defects as time goes by.

Thank you for a lovely house. It is strange that you supply us with paperwork urging us to use a ph neutral cleaner on our grout and floors BUT then we find that your final clean-up crew does not use these type of cleaners. Being on the same page would make sense ( at least to us ). AND the carelessness of your painters would have also helped. We eventually had to do the "final" floor cleaning ourselves ( with the proper cleaner ). We have nothing in writing BUT we were told that "eventually" we would have our window screens. It would be nice to air out the house, so I hope this is true ( eventually ).The absence of product brochures is annoying and more care should be given to make sure these are supplied. for every product supplied, We do feel that the overall quality of the home is apparent and we are happy with our purchase. ... Robert was great. Tim listened to our concerns but was hamstrung with the low skills of the labor pool. Design of home was great however don't expect to be allowed to make electrical or plumbing changes. (electrical outlets in wrong positions, both outside water faucets are on front sides of home, none in rear). Drywall finish in certain areas leaves a lot to be desired. Again this goes back to the quality and pride of those in the labor pool. Overall I would not hesitate to purchase again even though I know I must spend a lot of time finishing the home's interior.

My experience was good, disappointed that home is not “Senior” friendly.

House was very dusty with spackle dust when I moved in . HVAC was not working properly but since has been repaired. Sod was not watered well before I moved in and is dried out in patches. Otherwise I am happy with the house and love the neighborhood.

All the articles that we have read have made Peachtree out to be the best place to live which is true. There needs to be much more communication between everyone, i.e., the foreman needs to hear on a regular basis as to who is doing what where and when.

At the end of the day, you will have a quality home in a great location, You will also have some of the most annoying times of your life getting there. Just remember why you wanted this and it will happen.

For the most part the home buying experience was good. I bought a spec house already under construction in May 2022. The price I paid was much higher than what a similar spec house is selling for now. So, I don't feel that I got a good value, but I guess that's market dynamics. I wasn't given the opportunity to add or make changes and was basically told that everything had already been ordered for the house. I was disappointed that the drop zone wasn't included or the cabinets over the butler's pantry. The quality of the house seems very good. I love the cabinetry throughout the house and the granite counter tops. The appliances seem top notch although I wish the dishwasher had a stainless-steel tub rather than plastic. There are a few minor details and painting flaws that need to be repaired such as no paint on some trim at the base of the cabinets in the kitchen and the stickers on the windows certainly should have been removed. Also, the attic drop down does not open as the stairs do not clear the opposite wall and will not fully come down. This should have been inspected and corrected prior to the sale. Determining the closing date was a little stressful for me since buying and selling involves scheduling other folks, movers and utilities. They were noncommittal on this and once it was set and I was told the house was finished, they tried to change it again a few days before closing. That was the only time, I got really upset since I had already scheduled movers, utilities and notified the buyers of my former house. It was not changed so I was able to move as scheduled, but it should have never been suggested. I am still waiting on a response to my repair requests, but it has only been a few weeks, so hopefully, I will hear soon. We met with Matt and reported our warranty items, additionally we have discovered some other issues. Unfortunately Matt does not seem to want to follow up with any resolutions or even a call back. I have never experienced such disrespect from a warranty person as I have thus far.

This is our second home we've had built and it just not like it was with our other builder. Granted our last builder was local and very accommodating. I would chose Del Webb again simply because we love the neighborhood. We didn't move here for the house. It's 1/2 the size for the same price. It's amenities and lifestyle that drew us to the neighborhood. I believe that is what Del Webb is known for and so far I totally agree. Lots of great people. Good house but we've had several things we've had to fix to date. Also we noticed our neighbors houses already need new paint in parts. They just don't make them like they used to. ... More

Happy with our home, but always room for improvement.

We were under the impression Pulte did erry happy to move to Defabulous work, but we feel the workers had to work too fast and so the quality was lost.

We are happy with our home.

We were building long distance and our CM kept us informed weekly with photos and updates via email and txt.

I waited almost a year and I’m glad I’m finally here.

It was down to the wire that my house was ready but it did close on time. The people I worked with were great and it was an easy experience. I have not been impressed with the quality of products used to build the house. I don’t think they are quality that the price of the house should warrant. I have had a horrible experience with my side yard. There is a drainage problem and it stays wet on that side and my side is totally wrecked due to the mowers going through it which has created huge ruts. I have been promised it will be corrected and I hope that it is corrected properly. I also have not been pleased with the landscaping. Plants are not buried deep enough and the red clay shows. Weed control has not been good. There are a lot of very unattractive poles and other items sticking out of the ground. And was told they would be removed. I know this sounds negative and I am serious about the complaints; however, I love my house and am happy here. People are very nice and friendly. ... More

I am confident the home is built well. Quality products appear to be used. I don't like 2x4s used for joists. They should always be 2x6. Their quality of workmanship for simple things is lacking, like paint splatter, grout splaters, cement splattered all over, terrible acid washing of the brick, and the quality of sod is not good, very weedy. What really gets me is Pulte's lack of going a little extra for someone in a wheelchair. They refused to make the steps in the back a ramp so there is only one emergency escape route for a wheelchair user. Also a refusal to leave off a shower door so wheelchair users could not even use the shower when they moved in. A rod and curtain would have been fine. ... More

We felt like everything was overpriced especially for the quality of the work done. The construction mgr has been great getting things scheduled to be replaced, repainted, re-sanded, etc. The problem with that is A LOT of the problems should have been done correctly to begin with. The paint job done by the initial painters was horrible - missed tons of areas on the outside and the trim and doors all have to be sanded and repainted, tons of caulking needs to be done also. We love Sun City Hilton Head and the people we have met already.

T.J. was great to work with as was Nikke however I think Pulte really needs to evaluate some of the sub-contractors. If you really want to build a god home everyone that works on the home MUST have the desire to build a quality home!

The finish work of the home is not of the quality that we would have expected. we had four cracked floor tiles that needed to be replaced but the replacement tiles are now floating (not tight to the sub floor). We have had to repaint almost all the trim and do a lot of touch up paint. Just a lot of tick tacky things but they add up!

I closed on July 19th shortly after moving in fobs not working to building security. The building foyer is not complete. With Del Webb’s reputation I expected a quick response to things broken or unfinished.

Need more information regarding items to fix.
