Several quality issues with our new house all of which could have been resolved before closing. Has been difficult to get incomplete or defective items repaired. 12 weeks after moving in and many email and phone calls to our contract manager later, we are still trying to resolve many of the issues and feel like we are being ignored at this point.

We have (hopefully had) a problem with mold found in the attic at pre-drywall inspection. It was treated just before closing but rather than guarantee it in writing that if there is ever a future problem where it spreads which I pushed for, but instead was told this verbally. You have a 1-year warrantee and "IF" we determine we should cover the repair or ongoing treatment then we will. Otherwise, it will be at our expense, which leaves me very concerned about the long-term quality, safety and potential repair/maintenance cost of our new home.

Buying the condo was easy. The issues are another story. The air conditioning has been a problem from day one. I have learned from EVERYBODY that this is an ongoing issue. Should have been fixed long ago as this is building number 6 of the complex. The problem still continues. My first night there I had to stay at my sisters because it was too hot to sleep there. Any hot day my condo is uncomfortable. They have tried temporary repairs. Still waiting for the repair. We moved into the condo in July. Keys are another ongoing issue. From the questions in this review, I am not sure who specifically to review. We have dealt with a number of people. Most were responsive to our concerns. Were our concerns taken care of would be a better question. Our issue was with our walk-thru; we felt very rushed and were told some things that would be taken care of that were not. It was not a pleasant experience. Also I am not sure how to answer "Trustworthiness". Who specifically is the question referring too?

Lack of response for warranty issues submitted on line or called in. We have to follow up 3 or 4 times just to get a response, then we have to wait for the trades to "hopefully" show up.

After you take possession of your new home a 800 number is provided for issues. The recording says allow up to 72 hours for a call back. And company that takes 72 hours to return a call should so re evaluate their business practice. When I did receive a call back the person was very unprofessional. Thank God my issues are minimal because I feel like I’m on my own.

Don’t close escrow until all things in your home are up to standard. Once you close, they seem to forget about you. They keep building new houses, but don’t come correct/fix things in homes already completed.

It was supposed to be a dream house for retirement. We liked the location and the floor plan. The model houses are presented as spacious with views out of your window, but when you end up in your newly built house you have houses next to you in 12 feet. Windows do not help much to get daylight. AC units are next to your bedroom. Workmenship is a very low quality: bathrooms need caulking around the shower and bathtub, a lot of paint on the floor boards, kitchen doors are not alined, electrical outlets and switches messed up, missing items that we paid for, the concrete at the front door ...

The sales staff is great but the construction manager was incompetent. We identified several issues to him that did not get corrected until after several promptings, including electrical circuits inoperable, garage paint incomplete and the incorrect amount of attic insulation. This was the dirtiest home I have ever moved in to.

We have mixed feelings about our home buying experience. We were very impressed with the sales staff and the multiple model options, all of which were very well presented. We were especially impressed with quality of the finish work in the models and also the design center staff who provided multiple options for review and selection. Though the home buying experience was good, the customer service with issues after was horrendous. I have had three major issues. I went to settlement on 11/22. On 11/17 during my walk through, it was pointed out to me that there was a hole in the tub of my guest bathroom. It was put on the fix list, but was not repaired by settlement. When Del Webb sent out someone to review the problem, they could not fix it and needed to subcontract it out. When I called the subcontractor the first available date was February 17. My agent Chad Holmes was amazing. He did everything right. But I have the wrong countertops through my whole house. The paint job is terrible and not two toned like I thought, due to an apparent paint shortage. It has taken me a whole month to get someone over here to take a look at things and now I’m told it could be until January before the repairs can be completed. The community is beautiful and I love my house, but think many things could have been done much better.

We had a great experience watching our new home being built. Our field manager, Anthony, was exceptional; responsive, funny and really easy to work with. Now that we have lived in our home for a month, we are really enjoying git. The buying experience, mortgage application, and closing went smoothly . However, at the preliminary walk through there were several things that were supposed to be resolved that were promised would be done at the final walk through that were not. Well I am very unsatisfied with the 100% guarantee of handing over the house, still waiting on a bunch of issues that could be resolved very quickly but has not happened yet... Our home was purchased approx 60 days ago and we have had and still have quality control issues. Lack of communication and follow up definitely an issue. Tired of hearing we are to busy and don’t have enough help and Covid-19 as excuses. Slow down the process then and pay attention to what is currently going on and address them accordingly.
