Very slow response

The purchase and closing on our house was very good, However now that we are in, we closed December 17 2021, we have had a roof leak that damaged the garage and laundry room that has still out been repaired. Can not get anyone to answer the phone or emails concerning this and we have become very frustrated. Not to mention the many other problems that the home inspector we hired found still have not been addressed, NOT ONE. At this point, I would have to not recommend purchasing from Del Webb. Del Webb was very quick to address any issue during the purchasing process, but once they had our ...

The lack of a sense of urgency to get the job done right

We were essentially coerced into closing 12/10/21 on a house that remains unfinished coming up on 2 months later. Major framing errors including unequal door frames in bedrooms, open gaps between frames and missing drywall, bowing of drywall and doors hung on bowed frames. The bench in the entryway from the garage is not as shown in the model homes, and looks like it was constructed by a child (door is mounted unevenly on painted hinges, front is disconnected from top). Painting quality was poor and a good bit of mudding and painting had to be redone after closing. All of this should have ...

Builder could not be trusted to do the right thing.

Do not trust the builder. The workmanship on the house is poor and the builder has not been responsive about the issues. I have lived in the house almost 2 months and I still don't have a garbage can. Only 1 issue has been addressed since I moved in. They promise to address the issues, but they have not.

The build process was smooth for the most part. Once moved in, we discovered the dish washer was fully installed without a power cord. It took 4days to get one along with the final microwave. We are still waiting on the trim kit after closing a month ago. In spite of that, del Webb has been very responsive and staff very helpful and friendly!

Starting in the sales office, the feeling is that you as a potential buyer are unimportant. If you don't buy, the next guy will. Information on options is minimal and not always well explained. Work / repair promised to be completed before closing often does not happen. Once a buyer is so close to moving in, generally having sold or in contract to sell a current home, Pulte knows one doesn't have many options and are more willing to move in without having all work complete. After closing, many promised repairs continue to be put off. Major items seem to get completed eventually but the ...

Beautiful area, designs, location. The quality of the finish work was rushed. Poor painting and quality paint. Ended up 250.00 square foot. That's way too much for the end result in the product quality and finish work.

Poor interior finish workmanship and use of low grade plumbing cut-off valves need upgrading!.

The "bones" -- slab, masonry & framing -- of our home are excellent. But the interior and (exterior) finish work were some of the worst I have seen in a new home. I know that skilled labor is hard to find right now, but the painting, woodwork and tile were downright sloppy -- I'm glad I can paint and do tile work. Right now, this builder using what is, in my opinion, some of the worst water cut-off valves I have ever seen under all the sinks and toilets. I won't mention the brand, but I know plumbing and these valves are pitiful, snap-on plastic garbage that when used on PEX tubing, ruins the ...

Poor communication with Field Manager

  • Michael P.

Kitchen Sink and Laundry Sink were both installed at incorrect locations. Field Manager did not check on his sub contractors or this would not have happened. Closing walk thru we noticed no gutters on rear of house, had to tell Field Manager, when they installed the gutters they installed incorrect size had to re-install. Field Manager was a poor communicator only concern was to get home completed and move to next one. Paint and trim are very poor quality. Field Manager not concerned with quality.

We had extraordinary team start and even though she located in the back right office. Her personality is contagious. She worked hard during Covid19 as did the young Veteran and his team worked on our home. Never have we ever known someone so young, who holds himself accountable. He could answer any question with assurance. We love our home and community it is everything we image.

The contractor was very good informing us of any issues and responsive to all questions. Dell Web should change some options in the Sonoma Cove to help with usefulness and looks. Such as the microwave oven when ordering the gourmet kitchen. It is to small with an oversized chrome border (ugly) with the cabinet to low making the counter top below it useless. This was not shown in the model. Also the cabinet above the counter top separating the dinning room and kitchen is difficult to use. The cabinet doors open outward and you can't reach in to the shelves. We would have never ordered these ...

Move in 11/19/21. Nevada water notified me on a progressive leak 35,000 gl on my property. Notified the builder thru Las Vegas Warranty, Rick Crain field supervisor told me its out of their hands due to meter xfered to NV Water already. I was out on what to do next. Kept informing the builder up until I got hold of the Clark County District Supervisor. On the day of 12/03/21 finally Mr. Crain acted upon and told me to stop sending e-mails. I was furious. My water bill a big question on how to bill the builder. This is chaos! Up to now the lists continues on major discrepancies.
