Many of the touches such as painting are not up to snuff. However, some of my concerns have been addressed. I am not sure I would buy from Del Webb again though.

The sales/buying experience was typical of most production home builders. Nothing exciting to remark positively about. On the negative side there were several issues. The Design Center options and price list was out of date for the model we purchased, and if I weren’t able to read construction drawings, we would have missed out on contracting for several items. It’s also a significantly disappointing situation to not be able to make some minor changes, during the contract signing process to alter closet layouts, change a pantry door swing, or add some additional wall outlets in the home. ...

Overall we are very happy with our new home. The buying process was fine except for the mortgage application. We wasted months trying to get a Pulte mortgage - finally used another lender. The quality of the home is great except for the flooring. We chose the most expensive upgrade for flooring and the floors are terrible. Wish there had been an option for actual hardwood floors vs engineered hardwood. And our dishwasher was not working upon move in and after waiting a month for a repair my husband finally uninstalled and reinstalled it properly. All the people we worked with were very nice. ...

The building experience was great, they constructed on time and kept us well informed at every stage. We've had 4 houses built in the past and this was by far the best build quality. However, post closing, the Pulte selected HOA management "Castle Group" has been a disappointment. They don't always respond to emails or voicemails and are generally disinterested in helping resolve issues. We're hoping that service quality improves as no escalation path has been provided for us. If we had a better HOA management team, our overall experience would be excellent.

We have lived in other Dell Webb communities before and this house in Stone Creek seems to be better constructed. Issues with the home are taken care of much quicker before the purchase than after.

There were a lot of initial problems when we first moved into our new home. Thanks to the persistence and dedication of our site manager, Josh, most were taken care of in a reasonable time frame. Working with the warranty people for follow up since then has been good.

There were several issues when I moved in -sliding door would not lock - air conditioning would not turn off. I had to turn it off at the breaker - dishwasher was not connected to the water - sprinklers were not connected to water

Overall we very pleased with our new home. Everyone we dealt with throughout the process was polite and responsive. The reasons I didn’t give 5 star ratings are as follows 1) the loan approval process took way too long. We were told 4-5 weeks and it ended up being close to 12 weeks for a conditional approval. We also felt that we asked to verify and reverify financial information that had been submitted previously. 2) We did not feel that there was a lot of communication during the construction process until toward the end. 3) We did our final walk through and noticed a few minor things ...

Keep an eye on your house as it is being built. Check it out every week if you can. When you see something that is wrong or looks wrong tell them asap. Pictures help to explain it.

The process of building the home was great, the attention to detail was great, my home was ready when we closed, and I love my new home. However, they embarrassed and humiliated me when I attempted to see the progress of construction after a 2 week absence - literally escorting me off the property without letting me see it. I understand they were enforcing a policy - but the policy is insensitive and so was the enforcement. There are better alternatives but they were completely unwilling to discuss them with me.

Communications During construction process stunk

Substandard communication during construction process, and we were fatigued after our requests for numerous meetings on site were met with indifference and silence. We had to constantly refer back to our sales agent.. 12 months of requesting a status via an on site meeting that never happened until the week of the closing.

Everyone that I've dealt with has been friendly, courteous and professional. Ben Haley, Kerry Fulford, and Priya Patel have been great to work with. Lots of issues but I blame that on problems that are outside the control of the builders. That being said it was still a stressful and difficult time, glad to be in my home however.

Builder needs to use pocket doors where appropriate. Really should include shower grab bar for safety. Also remove trip hazard at sidewalk to Front door

While we believed build quality was good, two construction issues occurred after closing. However, Pulte was responsive with correcting them. It was just a big nuisance issue to have repair services coming afterwards to fix them. From sales side, it seemed that anything we asked for was a "no" to do. Pulte will NOT deviate from their spec. However, we found they offered others in community options we were not made aware of. Some people even brought in design ideas from other Pulte communities. We bought at end of build out, so it now seems the idea was to get them sold, built and out, ...
