We love the house and really thought we were buying a quality home from a quality builder and why we spent over 100k on upgrades but what we didn’t realize was they couldn’t execute the standard features of the home, much less the upgrades, We should be able to run our dishwasher and turn on our disposal at the same time, but we can’t. Our 22k corner sliding door shouldn’t be full of scratches, the extra money spent on counter tops, all look like it was done by a someone inexperienced. They had trade issues, ok then delay and do it right. Don’t keep changing the close date but then to rush at the end and leave things not even completed or wrong for the homeowners to deal with it. It is easy to request something to be done, but getting someone to do then is another thing. I have been waiting for my baseboards that got soaked to be put on and still waiting! Electrician was to come out today NO SHOW!no response when called.

We are still using loaner appliances after 2 months in the home. When will we be getting the stovetop, refrigerator and dishwasher that we ordered? Other than the house being incomplete, it's a nice home. The HOA is easy to deal with. Our neighbors are friendly. It's been a good choice for a winter home.

sales experience was good, however response to quality control/warranty issues was not good.

Poor communication, poor follow thru

Our home was inspected prior to closing and the inspector found several issues with the structure and the plumbing. Some were fixed prior to closing and some were not. We find the finishing work to be very shoddy (paint drips everywhere both floors and hardware, molding not fitting, no molding on the top of the fireplace, very sloppy paint jobs). In addition the EZ Breeze was not installed properly and we had to get the president of the company out to fix things. The pantry door was installed incorrectly. Much of this could have been taken care of with proper project management. I have since sent a spreadsheet outlining the fixes required to our PM, and have not heard back. We have walls that are totally out of plumb. Some outlets are crooked and there are cracks in the crown.

The process from beginning to end was a great experience, with the exception of return communication from the design team after we purchased our extras, and the final walk through process was a disaster. You would think that the finishes would be a high priority, since this is what John Q Public sees at closing, it is what is looked at in order to accept the property. We had so many small finish issues, that my wife & i were completely disappointed, and since have had zero contact by the person who was in charge of making those repairs. He sent us a text letting us know a new person was going to handle our issues. There was such a big deal made about checking the box that states we received our home in satisfactory condition, that when i did not check that box, the super stopped contact with us. So unprofessional, I am in the construction industry, i understand quality and communicating with customers. My suggestion would be that the builder, be less concerned about a checked box and more concerned about listening to the buyer, and providing a finished product that everyone IS actually satisfied with. ... they do not follow up after sale

Been in our home for 2 months, and there are still issues!!!

The quality of craftsmanship was poor. Very frustrating to have to continue to get things fixed that were just lack of detail. Pressure to complete homes creates poor quality work. I know construction isn't perfect but I feel the quality is below par

We only closed on our home a month and a half ago and still have several unresolved issues. We will hopefully meet in person with our customer service representative shortly He has reached out to me with three emails and has contacted two subcontractors. I do not want to rate Robert’s performance until he has had a chance to properly address our issues. Initially, I was very pleased with our sales consultant Dana and our building superintendent Michael. They were both very helpful and professional. Trying to work with Pulte Mortgage was such a stressful nightmarish experience that we just paid cash. Our house is just an expensive track home in a nice neighborhood. ... More

Our sales and build process were good. However, follow up to any problems that were found with the house, was poor. Our advice, don’t close until everything is the way that you want it.

Oversight of construction is minimal. Poor quality. Production homes that are constructed too quickly. High price for low quality materials.

The experience during the building process was good, but once you closed on the property and gave the rating for build process, service and warranty requests were mostly ignored. Adjacent home sites that were being built were messy and never cleaned up, with trash blowing everywhere and onto our property, as well as noisy trades working until 8:00 PM at night.

Overall we love our home. There are so many things that easily met our expectations. Our concerns our 1 - the quality of the paint inside is terrible. They should have used some kind of latex paint. They used a flat based and every little things that touches the walls leaves marks that need to be washed down. 2 - we had our walk through 2 months ago and still have several things not resolved. I am now leaving voicemails with no response. Very frustrating because we just want to move forward.

Dishwasher stopped draining - into week 2 of waiting. Refrigerator works -no water coming out again - stove connect to gas has leak, no help yesterday waiting again today

We didn’t have a great experience, craftsmanship not well, came out to correct but didn’t finish correctly for the amount of money we invest in our homes we would expect better work and finish timely but mostly correctly

Closed on Feb 8. Water leak Feb 9. Mold in master bathroom. It’s April 8 and repairs are still not complete. Trades do shoddy work. So much has to be repaired. 30 day repairs have not started yet. This is my second Pulte new build and I’ll never use them again. Trades do not show up as scheduled and if they do they have no idea what they are suppose to do.

Buyers should keep an open dialog between the sales team and their field manager.

Given their large size, Pulte has well honed floorplans. But lack of information at both sales (where structural options are chosen) and the design center, are problematic. Each should know their product and choices better. The excuse of being a "production" builder wears thin after too many refrains.

Staffing is inadequate. Everyone tries not enough resources

Unfortunately homebuying experience was the best part, downhill after that

I believe I was sold a few things that were not necessary & relied on design center to steer me in right direction. I’m also hoping since it was brought to Pultes attention before closing regarding poor materials &/or workmanship that these will be addressed ASAP I’ve only been here a month area is great
