While we completely understand the issues with labor and materials in this current environment, we don't understand why we were not proactively kept informed regarding delays. Unless we contacted our construction supervisor and pressed him for information, we were not informed about any changes in the schedule. There were too many things left undone in the house at closing.

Pulte uses high quality material, but unfortunately does not use workers that care. There was a lot of sloppy workmanship that I am left cleaning up after moving in...things like paint and grout "splatter" and streaky paint jobs. Very unfortunate for the price paid.

Pulte has many built-in restrictions in their process and even contract. Literally all of your choices must be made in a single 2-hour session with the designer and once you sign off that day, you cannot add or modify any choices. It would not cost Pulte anything to simply allow a week for modifications. Also, in the contract itself it states you are not allowed to delay closing due to your punch list. This almost sounds illegal, but it is in the contract you sign. So make sure your read of the print, fine or otherwise.

Although our home was built very quickly, there was an obvious push to close at the end of 2021 before the new year even though both sides agreed there were numerous items not complete. After much discussion, we were told we had to close or pay a fine/lose the contract. Finally, after they considered it further, they agreed to push the closing out a week to complete most of the items.

I trusted the builder to get this done right and be responsive to my needs. We did find several things wrong when we moved in, like a bad hose connection to the dishwasher that caused water on our floor and we had to hire a plumber to get it fixed. WE found several other things not right, but overall it was quite good. We were told to get a home inspecter now before our 12 mo warranty is up and people that did that found lots of issues. We will have to consider this to make sure we have everything right. We have friends who are friends of the Pulte family and went to their daughter's ...

Finish Work

The workmanship of the finish work for trim, doors, countertops, tile and cabinets was not as expected based on the model homes. Several items are still in need of repair and we have been in for six weeks. Repairs are not expected for another month. Overall, though, the house fits our needs and our selling agent and warranty man are great to work with.

If you are looking for a personal touch …this is not a custom builder. They have several properties being built at the same time so you are one of many waiting in line to have issues resolved

We had great experiences with our sales person, Shioban. We had several items missing in our home delivery including our whole house humidifier and our lyric thermostat, which we caught after closing and have still not been resolved. We have a few people helping us resolve these issues but we have been here a month and a half and are still waiting on installation and replacement of several items.

This is a beautiful area which was part of the draw; however, I expected better quality for the price. I've lived here 2 months. Appliances are cheap. The washer (which I had no choice but to accept) doesn't work properly. It's been a week since the trouble was submitted and no response. So far, 3 doors (and counting) won't latch properly. Walkthrough items have not been resolved. I was told if I have them taken care of now, they won't come back for the one year walkthrough...doesn't seem right.

The rush to close out by year’s end caused a lot of sub par workmanship. With so many homes currently under construction, quality control could be an issue. The company’s personnel are first rate but can’t keep up with the required fix up work and are at the mercy of their subcontractors. The subs are difficult to coordinate, not timely, come unannounced and most don’t speak English. There doesn’t seem to be any oversight of their work. The work is getting done but it has been a stressful experience.

I did not have a good experience with the builder. I think the sub-contractors were not experienced in their trade. Pulte Homes sold too many homes at once where they could not hand the demand and supplies. I'm don't want to hear it was all about COVID, that's when you should have stopped selling. We are still waiting for bathroom light fixtures and 4 flood light bulbs that were supposed to be in when we signed. As for completion or status of work requests, not happy with the timelines or the status updates.

Been in home little over one month. Still waiting for some floor trim to be finished, still waiting on refrigerator we ordered. Lots of delays. Started my one year warranty list already.

Some of the quality of workmanship was lacking with regard to the hardwood floors and the deck. Very odd that soap dishes were offered in the showers but not niches. Also felt rushed to closing with items still left unresolved.

Overpriced home for what we got and the builder rushed to finish construction to meet the 12/30/21 closing date which resulted in numerous areas unfinished (paint; punch list items; "placeholder" appliances instead of what we purchased; etc). It's been 5 weeks and we're still waiting on some items to be completed AND we still don't have our gas range.

Buyer be ware!!!! What you see is not what your get!!! Sloppy workmanship, the builder masks issues like the electrical outlets, they make the holes for the electrical plates and when they put the plates on, they spray to cover the excess holes. However once you go to paint and take off the plates, u have exposed holes. Glass shower door has crack, MBR side of door has hole that was patched up. Sliding doors don’t lock properly. Customer service is slow to respond. And when they handle the matter one is stuck having to wait for the different vendors to come out and fix the problem. Example ...
