Pulte (Del Web) is our 4th new builder in California, All 4 were “production” / “track” homes. Of the 4, Pulte falls short, with the buying experience, the construction and its customer service.

I was promised alot when I bought this home in the area of "White glove" service. I never got anything close to that. Although the positive is I confident I have a very well built home, I was treating more like I was lucky to have it rather than Del Webb was lucky to have me buy it. My construction manager only called me once, and I am 3 months in and have yet to have anyone get back to me for 30 day inspection.

It seems Pulti home was rushing to hand over the house and finished their work with many issues. It's really a nightmare now to get hold of them and resolved the issues.

I would like to start off by saying the sales team is Awesome! I watched my home build from day one to closing witched took almost 16 months. From the start I was disappointed with the quality if wood used to frame the home. Numerus twisted, cracked, and warped studs. The concreate driveway had to be redone and is now worse than the original. The most disappointing part of the construction is the finishing work of the home. There are too many detailed issues inside the home to list here. The subcontractors have hired less than competent/unskilled personnel to completed even the simplest ...

Kitchen cabinets, Kitchen quartz, floors, tile in bathrooms beautiful. Paint and trim finishes terrible. I'm sure we will need to repaint the entire house. Fingers crossed they repair our wood finishes, baseboards, crown, etc.

Kenny and Andrew are excellent and know what they are doing . Unfortunately their communication is below standards . Every step of the way the wrong materials were used and had to be done over . Wrong counters , sinks , backsplash , toilet .

Lots of surprise cost that are NOT included and NOT disclosed until you are in home. Once you close you will never hear from anyone. Warranty issues left for months...still waiting! Wrong info and no one will take responsibility. Original Sales Gal was great and then moved.....

Quality control definitely needs to be improved. I became the defacto project manager inspecting the house and identifying all of the issues needed to be corrected. I closed on the house even though the refrigerator needed to be replaced, the sink was defective, and the rear lawn was partially dead. Multiple instances of paint were left all over the floor (that were addressed prior to close). However, the kitchen shelves were not cleaned nor were the top of the windows. After previously building four homes, it was obvious to me that the entire construction staff rushes to get the job ...

This is our 2nd Pulte home in Del Webb. The 1st one closed 11/20. This one code 5/22. Quality has declined significantly! We have almost 100 items on our punch list. 2 months after closing there are still over 50 open items. Also, Pulte title people were extremely difficult to deal with!

I love my home don't get me wrong. The quality of workmanship is gone. I've been here for 2 months & my cabinets have fallen apart. The concrete front porch is cracked so badly that it needed to replaced before I moved in. Filling the broken chunks of concrete makes both the front porch & back patio look cheap & worn out. For how much this house cost, everything should have been perfect. I can't believe some things passed their inspection because they didn't pass mine--like crooked window trim, missing paint or paint where it shouldn't be (like on windows). After our purchase and final walk through we found some issues we didn't see during the final walk through. Our bad, I admit. But when they are clearly the result of poor workmanship/installation/attention to detail, they should still be corrected. All we got was "you should of noticed it during your walk through"

Pulte is not a custom home builder, they build spec homes. Some options were not available to us because of problems with suppliers. Biggest disappointment was with communication with project manager. Currently dealing with items on repair list.

Felt there was a good deal of misinformation right from buying process & through building process. Fell strongly that overall finishes could be a LOT better. At 80 yrs old, I am not getting down on the floor to clean & scape areas that should have been done for me.

Disappointed with the number of things that needed to be corrected. Instead of being addressed by builder, the home buyer needed to identify these issues and then follow-up with builder to see if they have been addresses.
