Blue responded to all my question and concerns immediately. My issues were with Paul in sales. Once I signed the purchase agreement and paid my downpayment he ghosted me. He misinformed me on several options and I am still waiting for a refund on a grab bar that was nor installed as it could not be installed where Paul said it could be. I have reached out to him twice now on what the status of that refund is and as usual have not heard a word back. I reached out to the head of sales here at sun city, Mesquite a couple of days ago and have not heard back form him yet as well.

Unpleasant Home Buying Process

Pulte people made our home buying experience miserable. Total lack of communication and follow through. We showed up to our scheduled walk through with the house a mess and no one there. We later learned that the walk through and closing had been pushed back and we were not notified. We came in from out of state and were paying for a hotel room to accommodate the date and time we were given (we even confirmed the appointment time prior to the walk through). Sub-par workmanship and lack of attention to detail in multiple phases of the build process. They're building too many, too fast, given the amount of supervision they have and with their (obviously) limited access to workers who are skilled.

Very dirty home. Absolutely no care taken in delivering a clean home. Silicone and stains on tile floors. Carpets were extremely loaded with dust and saw dust.

As of right now, I am a very unhappy buyer. I have an issue with the water sprinkler system getting a bill that’s way too high and I was only here for two weeks. Already got a call from the water company that can be almost impossible telling me I use 52,000 gallons of water but it seems to be no concern to anyone involved in my issues I am shutting off my sprinkler system. The home is decent, and we do not regret the purchase. However, the customer care manager has been abysmal. The house does have issues that warrant addressing; paying 400k for a new house and the dishwasher break, large cracks in cabinets, and sinks not working within the first month is not pleasant -- but the lack of care from the customer care manager is truly disappointing. There is a clear feeling that they do not want to deal with us now that the money has been paid. This is disappointing, to say the least. Poor quality finish on walls and cabinets, scratches on cabinets, told the were on order to replace, have not heard back. Walls poor finish with paint! Scheduled a meeting for warranty and took afternoon meeting and no one showed up or called saying they were delayed. Not happy!

My how things have changed for the worse. A Del Webb home is no different from any of their other divisions or their competitors. The overall quality of our home is borderline atrocious. Mounding isn’t properly cut and fitted, tile work is slightly better. Wall texture is totally inconsistent. No amount of caulking, which is improperly used everywhere helps. Landscaping is as poor of quantity as one can get away with. Everyone who works for this builder has a lane, and in it they stay. Nothing with this build happened on time. The sales person was great during the home buying experience. After the sale was complete, not so much. Homes have warranty coverage and a system to post requests. They go unanswered.

I feel the quality of the finished product is less than the ideal presented in the sales office. Lots of little issues left to be taken care of. I believe this is due to the number of homes the construction manager, who did his best, has to handle. Also, very few union people on the job which is reflected in the issues. All that being said, we are in the house and enjoying it and the neighborhood. IMO many of the issues that arose during construction could have been avoided if the construction manager had fewer homes to manage.

The company needs to follow up on claims and try to improve quality of home by reviewing the comments and seeing if they are achievable to make a home flow better. They appear to want quantity not quality!

We have numerous items that remain unresolved from our walk through and punch list. Several are significant. We have not heard back on any of them. We closed June 22. Over a month ago. We have also submitted other issues through the warranty process and none of them have been resolved. No communication. Nothing fixed.

Based on this experience, I would say that Del Webb Fulshear is not a priority for Pulte.

It is very difficult to trust people in this build when construction supervisors, customer care, etc. are moved to other projects. Customer care rep. was good about touching base with us on open tickets-airteam showed up when scheduled, however, whoever is in charge of landscaping has done nothing to correct the mistakes made in the front, side and partial backyard. They were here over two weeks ago and said they would be back to fill in the yard and replace some of the grass but we haven't seen them since. I was also told that they couldn't replace any of the grass on the side because ...

The beginning of my process was great, good communication, pre-sheetrock walk through good, regular updates. The final 45 days not so good. My builder representative did the surprise, it's ready early after telling me the house would be ready later for months. Then 2 days before closing wanted to push closing for a few minor things - all theatre! Do not close if you have even the smallest items outstanding, it's almost impossible to get them done after closing. Pulte may build a good house structurally but the finishing of the home & attention to details is of poor quality.

While we rally like the community and the home design, we've had more issues than we would have anticipated for a home of this cost and new construction. While the basic construction seems to be of good/average quality, the finish and some of the materials (windows substandard (poor build and screens not well fitted), cabinetry faulty glue system, roofing system not executed to code (ridge vent), terrible HVAC drain design, concrete is poor - rust spots all over) were not of the quality expected.
