Need to make the finance easier For seniors

When we signed the purchase agreement I specifically asked the sales person if the home would appraise at that level. She absolutely assured us it would. It fell short by tens of thousands of dollars. The bright side is after shopping for a mortgage and insurance we went with Pulte for both. And though there are lots of minor issues with the house that need attention the customer care person is great at following through.

The floor plan suits our needs. There was an early completion date and we were able to move in right away. The quality is great and the subsequent service has been very satisfactory.

Everyone was extremely professional and eager to please.

I give 3 stars to the Quality of materials and workmanship. While the quality of materials used to build the home itself are excellent, it’s the attention to detail that’s lacking - broken windows installed, lackluster cleaning (minimal attempt made at removing drywall dust off floors before hardwood and tile installation), sloppy final cleaning of windows, etc, tracking mud in on newly-installed carpet and then making no attempt to clean it up, etc), planting millipede-infected sod that was already dead upon installation, sloppy / haphazard exterior paint application... I gave them 5 stars for trustworthiness, because when I asked them to do something, they did it. It just got done haphazardly sometimes. This is where attitude (‘it’s not my house’) and the lack of attention to detail come in... I gave 4 stars to Value for the price paid. While we love our new home, we aren’t happy with being ‘forced’ to go with carpet in the basement when we didn’t want carpet! Or not being able to upgrade appliances or other items after the initial order selection. The Del Webb selection process is simply too restrictive for a home that’s supposed to be ‘custom’. More selections / options are needed... I gave 4 stars to Responsiveness to issues. Again, while everything I asked for eventually got done, it took prodding and repeated badgering to get completion... ... More

Very happy with new home.

Everyone I encountered during my home buying experience were very professional and friendly from the Sales Staff (Antoinette Robbins), to my Field Manager (Bryan Rohrbacher), to my Warranty Staff (Josh Wells). I was kept up to date on progress of home construction by my field manager. Even after move-in I called on Bryan several times, and he always addressed my issues expeditiously. Josh scheduled a warranty call with me and scheduled a time to come to my new home to follow-up on my questions, etc. He spent 2 hours with me, explaining the sprinkler system, etc. He even found several items he was not happy with and addressed them with the various contractors. We chose Del Webb because of it's location and community activities and atmosphere. We have concerns about quality of structure itself. I would have preferred to have an independent architect review plans. The fact that actual building plans were secret and hidden were a warning sign to me. Electrical and water supply may barely meet local codes, but for the price, it could have been better.

Texture overspray everywhere, tape, all just painted over and not removed. Refer defective, items still need to be repaired(making a list) and much more. Sales team was great, but that is where it stopped.

Finished on time with continuous updates during the building time.

Niki was a great help. We’ve been here for two months now and the French Doors have never been installed. They arrived yesterday and were supposed to have been built in the house. The dishwasher was here but never installed. So many issues!

Workmanship was very poor as well as materials used

Everything was great! Except the paint quality! I'm amazed that these beautiful, well built homes, would use such low quality paint.

Materials and Trade quality is not as good as past Pulte homes I've had built...Poor drywall finishing, cabinets left scratched and damaged, carpet pad installed with standard pads and not the upgraded option I purchased, windows and glass shower doors scratched, and microwave not installed properly and is not useable after 6 weeks in my new home... After close, a list of items needing repair was submitted with long lead times to get done...I've had 3 items (including microwave) where scheduled dates of repair never showed up to fix the problem...Sent messages to Field Mgr and still waiting for new dates...At this point I'm not sure I would ever recommend Pulte to others given my current experience with this new home...Very frustrated and disappointed... ... This work in progress. I have thus far a few things that needs to be fix. But I decided to wait until my 1 yr inspection takes places.

Home not finished at the time of closing. Poor quality including some drawers missing hardware, paint splatters everywhere, shower drain clogged due to construction debris, dead shurbs in the backyard, scratched windows, and many other issues. The house was dirty at the time of closing. Very very disappointed with the lack of quality control by this company.

Purchasing, choices, construction process........all very good to great! Mortgage process.........the worst experience of all!

The home buying experience, as a whole, was very good. Our sales person was very good - helpful, responsive and always cheerful and ready to be of help! We encountered some problems early on in the building process, and they were rectified. The building process was generally painless, and our project manager was great in responding to any concerns we had (always with a smile!). After we moved in (6weeks ago) we have been noticing quite a few deficiencies in the quality of workmanship. We are in the process of addressing them with the builder, so the jury is still out! Here again, the Pulte ,We do like our neighborhood and the community personnel are very helpful and great to work with. Even though I don’t think the house itself is a very good dollar value, I do think we are going to enjoy living here for our senior years. ... More

Dishwasher stopped draining - into week 2 of waiting. Refrigerator works -no water coming out again - stove connect to gas has leak, no help yesterday waiting again today

They need to talk to buyers before they build to hear what they are looking for in a carriage home. More on-site viewing of models is needed. When I bought I had no model to look at. There was only a larger upstairs unit to see. Of course, it was bigger and you really do not get a 'true" picture of what your unit will be like. The garage is much too small, the flex room is also too small. More natural light is needed in the ground floor units,

I was very disappointed that my house was not ready as promised at closing and issues are ongoing 2 months post closing.

We have built three homes in our lives. This one was the best! Quality, trustworthy love our home.
