Our sales rep was terrific. As a Realtor myself I appreciated her approach, attention to detail and responsiveness. Our construction manager gets lower marks for lots of promises and less action.

Julie was a great saleswomen. She answered all of my questions to my satisfaction and made the whole buying process very easy.

That everything is a upgrade, I found I could not get what I really wanted, because the smallest thing was a upgrade. Therefore I am not as satisfied with my home. I guess I really couldn’t afford this home , so I would make sure my friend and family understands before buying here.

I have nothing good to say about Pulte homes. I paid almost half a million for my house and have been very disappointed in the quality of work. Nicks in laminate flooring, screw holes in the garage where they put up the garage door wrong but neglected to fix the holes. Sloppy finish work the caulking is bad throughout the whole house. The microwave was not installed correctly, the kitchen range is crooked and don’t even get me started on the staircase railing. When the come to fix something the usually make it worse. I have talked to home owners in Carolina Orchards and they to have had similar problems and some had worse. All Pulte is interested in is getting their money then slapping up a poorly built house. If someone asks me I would tell them (DO NOT BUY A PULTE BUILT HOME THEY PROMISE THE MOON AND YOU GET A VERY SLOPPILY BUILT HOME FOR YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ... More

I dont know that I would recommend this builder to anyone else.

Please get an inspection done before you close on your home. There seem to be a lot of problems with building homes. They have contractor don't understand what they are doing and that is very misleading. They are not thinking about the quality of the home just the $$$ and that is not good for the buyer. They need to take there time and build these homes as if they were going to purchase these homes. The VP of construction need to inspect these homes as well because they are being half build. I had so much wrong with my home I started not to closed. The Inspector came out twice to inspect my home and that cost money. Do it right the first time and the builder need to take their time. We love our new house and the sales team but the contractors and materials used are generally suspect. The painters were sloppy, did not use drop clothes and the paint was of poor quality - both inside and out. The stucco and roofing work was also done hastily and poorly. My opinion is that during COVID Pulte had too few contractors to keep up with sales which resulted in poor overall quality. We have numerous issues with our home after we received the keys and are still trying to resolve them nearly 2 months later. My advice is to new Pulte buyers is to hire your own inspector to sign off on each phase of construction and make sure that when you receive the keys the house is truly complete to your satisfaction. ... Pulte homes are fantastic. I added a new home inspections to cover my bases and only had two small things that need to be addressed, (That's really good, considering.) We've had a medium size repair list from the new home build that has not been addressed and we are still waiting for follow-up repairs. Communication, at this point, has been very poor to say the least. (I'm calling CAC this week). We've passed our 30 day limit and I am hoping that Pulte reaches out soon to, at least, acknowledge these projects are in the process of finishing. No call back, no notifications, no acknowledgements as if we don't exist and had just bought a new home. Otherwise, the rest of the experience with buying a new Pulte home has been great. From our sales person, Bly Trotter, who has been an amazing asset in our home buying experience to our mortgage agent, Brett Burges, who was amazing who clearly and concisely explained everything about Pulte Mortgage with such eloquence and professionalism. We even decided to go with Pulte Insurance which was a great idea and they helped us tremendously. Overall, I would choose Pulte again if we were going to buy another house and would recommend to anyone to do the same. With the exception of the follow up repairs and finishes, we are pleased. The original “field manager” did not know anything about construction or scheduling. Our project (the 7th home that we have built) was a mess. Once he was replaced things went more smoothly. The finished product is satisfactory but not great. Late in the construction process my flat back yard was bulldozed and carved into a drainage ditch. At no time had we been told that this would be necessary for “engineering.” When we have heavy rains the water from up the hill gushes through my back yard washing away pieces of sod and dirt. I have asked that they come out and fix this to no avail!

Well design homes in landscaped settings

Overall a great experience. High point was the house is great. Low point I bought the solar panels and it has been a complete nightmare. Tesla originally said 1-2 weeks after docs received. Going on 6 weeks. No closer now than when I first moved in. Sours a lot of the experience.

We experienced constant delay in the building of our house. The workmanship is substandard possibly due to the workers doing their tasks in freezing conditions and in the dark due to lack of power, which was not turned on until the last couple of weeks of the project. The materials used to build our house are of cheap quality and since we moved in we have been identifying problems and upgrading some of the items.

Kit in sales was excellent as always. We always appreciate his knowledge and professionalism. Brice in construction was also great. Responsive to all our requests and promptly addressed all our concerns.

From our sales associate to our field supervisor, the team was very informative and helpful. The home buying experience was positive, from start to finish.

Our experience from sales through closing through customer care has been seamless, professional and pleasant. Could not ask for more.

workmanship of this house is very poor. Move in week was mentally stressful as there were so many things left to be done for me to be happy and to sign off. House is about $100k to $15k overpriced for what we bought. Staff is responsive when i call.

We were not expecting to buy new when we started this venture but we found ourselves having to move quickly after the sale of our existing home. Fortunately there was a quick move-in home available and it had 99% of the features we were looking for. Unfortunately the one feature we would have liked added the contracting team didn't have availability to do for us (epoxy the garage floor), and this was the only quick move in for us to choose from. But the process for purchase was smooth, the site manager met with us and took his time to walk through giving us plenty of opportunity to check out the house. The workmanship, materials and responsiveness were all shoddy. We still have many issues that have not been corrected nearly 2 months after closing. We are not happy and frankly if we could go back we would purchase from a different builder.

Overall the move has been pleasant A friendly safe neighborhood Most of our needs have been met

Homes are a great value and community is fantastic. However, the quality of the materials and workmanship is sub standard. There is an apparent lack of pride in workmanship.
