Inadequate efforts to properly address repairs prior to closing.

Action was not taken to address two significant issues, prior to closing. They were then rushed in an attempt to make "quick fixes", with inadequate results. We were then told we had to either accept these or walk away from the closing. With everything we had done in preparation for closing, we felt we had no real option but to accept. The next day one of the "quick fixes" failed and to their credit, they sent a technician who corrected the issue. The second item remains unresolved as of this writing (6 weeks after closing).

The fit and paint finish was not good- at all- Pulte is working to correct. the drive is non suspect and may have to be replaced

Electrical Switch and Outlet Boxes poorly installed causing finish plated to be uneven. Painters solution: caulk uneven plates to hide issue. Walls are uneven throughout the house. They only skim coat the drywall joints. Nothing more. High and low spots throughout the house. They use additional trim on flooring and cabinets to hide the unevenness in the walls and floors. Finish painting on trim is terrible." Brush" painted trim, not sprayed. Painting over dirt and rough portion in trim, the norm. No sanding here. Pulte tries to build homes too fast. Our tile floor was installed uneven, the grout was not done correctly and we had hazing all over our floors. The bottom of our cabinets were left unfinished and the outdoor cement work had footprints all throughout it.

Main issues were never addressed. Disappointed that our sales rep was let go. No continuity in transition. Project manager did not take care of main issues i.e. unstable toilet and flooring. Reached out to Garrett and never heard back. Very poor customer service. Issues should have been addressed immediately. We're still waiting....

Very slow to follow up on deficiencies. Still waiting on plumber to fix toilet placement in that doesn’t meet code. Been behind house is full of weeds and HOA nor builder has solved the issue.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the construction of my first new home ever. Lots of little things visible and a few that were just totally ridiculous to have even been presented to me as the buyer. And there is a huge push for you to say you are satisfied within a few days after closing when it takes a little time to find things that need to be corrected.

Great purchase experience, poor follow through with all the repairs and corrections needed. Flooring has splintered at every joint and we have been waiting for 5 weeks for a Shaw manufacturers rep to come look at it. OUR contract is with Pulte NOT the flooring manufacturer. Pulte needs to step up and make it right. There are several other issues that have been an issue for weeks.

Expect no followup from Pulte Builders in this Del Webb community. This Del Webb community in Ponte Vedra is lovely and full of amenities, but our entire building process with Pulte has been disappointing and stressful

The first issue I noticed was that electrical for tv was low. Didn’t know it was an add-on to use less electrical wire to move up the wall. Then I found out there weren’t any towel racks. Seems odd as I bought a new house 3 years ago and was asked where I wanted my electrical for tv’s, phone, etc. I also had towel racks when I moved in 3 years ago. Costs for extras are way overpriced. Keypad for garage door opener, a cost of $40 costs 175 from Pulte. It was a 5 minute installation. Brackets for ceiling fans is $200 each. Three years ago I paid $50 each.

Salesperson: Was good, however too many omissions. Things were found after the purchase that we should have been told on advance. Design center: Julie was very through in explaining everything, and very helpful in suggesting and/or recommending selections that fit out style and desires. Construction manager: Chris, was very proactive in his communication, and response time. He was very informative when asked questions about the construction. I love my neighborhood and my neighbors but it shouldn’t be my job and time to make sure things are done correctly. The sales people and construction managers are very nice and friendly but the quality of their trades people is poor. I am talking from the painter to the lawn people, poor quality. The required or recommended contractors (pool builder and window coverings don’t call you back to remedy problems. Our closing got delayed by DW so we had to close when the date came. Several things were undone and we we told they would be done asap. 2 months later they are still incomplete after many promises to get things done.

I was fortunate or maybe unfortunate to be able to visit the house almost weekly to see the progress of the new build. It was frustrating to witness the lack of "craftsmanship" that they claim in the promotional materials. To look at finished window openings that were not plumb or level, inconsistent wall texture due to the numerous times the drywaller had to return, items that supposedly passed inspections but yet I had to point out to the construction manager that they were wrong or needed to be fixed and the attitude of not only the construction manager but the senior construction manager ...

Learning that we are not alone in our home buying experience, helps us face the absolute myriad of problems encountered after spending 3/4 of a million dollars on a 300k home.
