I absolutely love this home. We moved in in December and not 2 months later we had a huge storm.., high winds, sheets of rain and hail (both vertical AND HORIZONTAL!!) and this house stood solid. The community is gorgeous, it is definitely a resort community. Well planned and well maintained. The house itself is designed with beauty and comfort. The spaces are thought out. Easy to place existing furnishings. Finishes are beautiful. I am so glad we chose this community, this builder and this home. I give them a 10 out of 10!!!!

After we bought there was a transition with sales agents. We weren’t told about vinyl planking floors clapping. It was amazing the schedule that they were able to maintain. From start to finish it delayed just a week. Our builder was top notch and kept us up to date on schedule.

Although our home ended up as we hoped it would. Plute is hard to deal with. Salesperson was great, project manager was great, however with the amount of builds that are taking place every owner should hire a private home inspector throughout the build. They don’t quality check on every turn of the build and they don’t have the staff to do it with. You are the quality check and rest assure unless you were in the business of home building hire an expert for your interests on quality checks. So far as we have moved in I have found their phone numbers to call not effective at all. You have to hope your project manager or salesperson will have your back and resolve issues. Biggest problem for future home buyers are quality of the build not quality of their staff or materials they just need more help. ... More

Examine every single detail of the model home so that there are no surprises with your actual home. Take nothing for granted.

Overall quality of workmanship was average at best and I would recommend that any buyer not to build in absentia but rather be there to inspect construction on a regular basis.

Be careful.......follow through with certain things are just not there and at the beginning we just waited for the next disaster/issue. We have a punch list of fixes that can choke a horse.

2-3 minutes to get hot water to the master shower and kitchen sink. Air conditioner system is under designed and takes several hours to heat the home. Master bedroom in 2-3 degrees colder. Closing a disaster 20 major items not fixed 24 hours prior to closing

Even with the pandemic the staff strived to maintain the completion timeline and were always accessible to answer questions. They were always pleasant and helpful! I’m also happy with the final product and the price.

Customer emphasis from the sales process through the build process. All questions answered and advice given when requested. Always responsive!

My field manager was fantastic until she quit abruptly on the day of walk through and left me hanging. Due to holidays another field manager was not assigned for 2 weeks. Since it was the holiday the warranty office was short staffed. The issues and repairs that should have been taken care of before closing was not handled for over 30+ days. Stone Creek has beautiful landscaping every where except the Nottingham retention area where my home backs up to a muddy retention area. Yes I knew I was buying on a retention area, but I was assured they would do a better job at the beatification of the area. Its a muddy mess that has garbage flying around. I watched 3 men from the lawn company sit out there for hours and never bothered to pick up one piece of garbage. My salesman was good, the field manager was awesome until she quit, the follow up was ok, the title company needs help with communication of trusts, the insurance company is very slow to follow up with obtaining a policy, the quality of construction for the value is phenomenal. I was told my new home would be as perfect as the model homes. I have not found that to be true. Toilets' run randomly, dirt in the water lines continues to run into the bathroom sink. One of my shower drains, is slow to drain the water...not normal or near perfect.

The construction process was almost flawless! Our project manager completed the project on time per the projected completion date! And I understand the project was on budget. Joey did a great job!

Great buying experience everything went as planned

Given their large size, Pulte has well honed floorplans. But lack of information at both sales (where structural options are chosen) and the design center, are problematic. Each should know their product and choices better. The excuse of being a "production" builder wears thin after too many refrains.

Shocking problems with all the kitchen appliances that are low quality for what is touted as a "chef's kitchen. The kitchen drawers and shelves are literally falling apart. My bathtub doesn't hold water, master shower panel leaks, outdoor lighting is wired incorrectly and does not work. I hired a home inspector and his report outlines alk the flaws, but response is not good. I feel really disappointed and frustrated.

They build a solid house and are great to work with. We were very happy with the experience and are loving our new home.

Because of Covid we did everything virtually! From beginning to end it was a great experience. Christian started us and was great. Mario took over for Christian and did a superior job with keeping us informed with progress. Jenn was terrific on FaceTime helping us make decisions. Rob did a wonderful job bringing it all together!

We really enjoy the layout and design features of our new home and the modern conveniences that came with it. Even though we have experienced issues with workmanship and material, Del Webb has respond quickly.

House was built and completed in 6 months

The building process using critical path scheduling is too rigid and inflexible. Common answer when asking about idle days was "subs go by the schedule ".

Perhaps the number one thing to point out is that your home will cost more than the advertised 'starting' or 'base' price. That is to be expected - but be prepared - EVERYTHING is an upgrade. It goes without saying that most of the things you'd typically want are NOT in the base price. You'll want the nicer countertops, carpet, cabinets, etc. This wasn't necessarily a surprise, but there were times when you sit back and think, "Seriously?" Moreover, there are options that you wish you DID have, but couldn't. Like a different shower head configuration - which you'd like to do during the building process as opposed to after. Or some sound insulation in the walls of your office or having a door swing 'in' vs 'out'. The homes are custom based on THEIR ala carte options, and there is very little else you can do, even if you're willing to pay for it. Quality: Living in MN, and being my first 'slab' home, I wish we would've had an option for a hot water 'recirculater' unit. It takes forever and a day for the water to heat up at any given faucet. It would've likely been an expensive, but a 'worth it' option. Heated floors in the bathroom? Why not? I also think the 2-car garage option should be a bit larger - it was on the smaller side. The house is drafty, but probably within acceptable ranges. It's hard to measure the quality of build in such a short time (it's been about 3 months) - so I'll be anxious to see what happens over a year. Overall, I'd say the quality is above average. There are bound to be issues - 'some' is fine, but you can have too many. We didn't have too many, and the ones we did were promptly fixed. Fixed to our satisfaction? Not always, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on Responsiveness to issues. People: The people we dealt with associated with the build process were exceptional and great. The people we dealt with on the finance side (e.g. Pulte Mortgage) were....not exceptional. Bottom line, I would NOT finance with Pulte Mortgage ever again. (But this is about Del Webb and not Pulte??) Overall, it was a good time to build a house because prices were on the increase and in the end, we ended up with a house worth more than what we paid for it - who doesn't like that? Would we do it again? Absolutely! But knowing what I know now, I would've fought for more NSO (Non-standard options) to help tweak my home's design and features. ... More

Builder was outstanding. Kept us informed of the progress and was very responsive to questions/concerns.

The building process was easy, but we had to closely monitor the quality of workmanship, especially the finish work.

Workmanship is very poor no supervision of construction

Our buying experience started during the height of the COVID 19. We visited Southern Springs Tennessee for the 6th time in mid June and decided to start the purchase process for our favorite model the Abbyville.. After driving home to California we finalized the contract over the internet. We even completed the final design on the computer from home and this was handled beautifully by Del Webb because after we moved in on December 1st we love all the choices we made. Due to the situation on our move we requested a closing date about a week and half earlier and Pulte was able to do it despite difficulty in getting windows, cabinets and appliances due to COVID.
