Very dirty home. Absolutely no care taken in delivering a clean home. Silicone and stains on tile floors. Carpets were extremely loaded with dust and saw dust.

Make sure to stay on top of your construction manager throughout the build process. The quality off the work by the tradesmen is sloppy and the quality of some of the materials is less than would be expected for a home at this price level.

As of right now, I am a very unhappy buyer. I have an issue with the water sprinkler system getting a bill that’s way too high and I was only here for two weeks. Already got a call from the water company that can be almost impossible telling me I use 52,000 gallons of water but it seems to be no concern to anyone involved in my issues I am shutting off my sprinkler system. The sprinkler system keeps leaking so I don’t know who to get in touch with. The home is decent, and we do not regret the purchase. However, the customer care manager has been abysmal. The house does have issues that warrant addressing; paying 400k for a new house and the dishwasher break, large cracks in cabinets, and sinks not working within the first month is not pleasant -- but the lack of care from the customer care manager is truly disappointing. There is a clear feeling that they do not want to deal with us now that the money has been paid. This is disappointing, to say the least. Issues that were supposedly doubled check to work were in fact NOT double checked, or even checked at all. Furnace did not work -somebody failed to turn on the gas. Dishwasher did not work - there was no electrical connection - no whip from unit to electrical source! First time we used the oven it blew up & Del Webb rep had us call warranty department which was going to be a 6 week wait to repair it! A street cleaning water trunk with a 20,000 gallon capacity was told to use our faucets outside as the source for their water supply - can you imagine our water bill of 20K gallons??!! VERY ...

Poor quality finish on walls and cabinets, scratches on cabinets, told the were on order to replace, have not heard back. Walls poor finish with paint! Scheduled a meeting for warranty and took afternoon meeting and no one showed up or called saying they were delayed. Not happy!

The Granit Kitchen Counter Tops which I paid 5K extra for are a disaster Corners broken off, chips, gauges, scratches, etc.. More than 30 in all, on all counters. These where noted prior to closing and after closing. Was promised all will be taken care of prior to closing. STILL WAITING 4 WEEKS LATER. Found out yesterday that our sales person quit. Also that the "Customer service dept has no people and building supervisors are filling in. Had meetings with at least 8 repair people and the contractor . Ironically all the work men told us to replace it as the damage is to great. ...

My how things have changed for the worse. A Del Webb home is no different from any of their other divisions or their competitors. The overall quality of our home is borderline atrocious. Mounding isn’t properly cut and fitted, tile work is slightly better. Wall texture is totally inconsistent. No amount of caulking, which is improperly used everywhere helps. Landscaping is as poor of quantity as one can get away with. Everyone who works for this builder has a lane, and in it they stay. Nothing with this build happened on time. Now I realize I bought an expensive track house. I worry about the future of the Sun City “neighborhood” concept that it was built on. Now the emphasis is on how many homes can be built and how fast. Infrastructure and amenities no longer come first but only after most of the homes have been built. Very disappointed in the Pulte model of Sun City.

Sales Office lied when they told us work on the new building quit every day at three. They work seven days a week until dark sometimes even after dark. We were told appliances were checked and tested before we moved in. Mine, and at least 30 other people in my building have electric ranges where the ovens tripped the circuit breaker. The sales person was great during the home buying experience. After the sale was complete, not so much. Homes have warranty coverage and a system to post requests. They go unanswered.

The quality for a 600+ home is horrible! The paint, which was upgraded is horrible! Paint on the floor, rugs. chips on my counter that if they could not fix it expected me to pay for it. The landscaping person is absolutely useless! I had dead plants that I acknowledged before I moved in an trying to get them replaced correctly did not happen! It was not a good experience that's for sure!
