Responsiveness to identified issues is laughable. I can’t recommend buying a house from del Webb

We are still left with lots of little repairs that need to be done and talking with our neighbors we are not alone.It would seem that with this building boom that’s going on in festival that selling and building fast has taken priority over doing a good job.

Being kept in touch during the entire process was very important to me.

Having looked at many communities across Florida, we chose to buy into the Del Webb community in Lakewood Ranch for a few reasons. The community itself offered an incredible array of activities and amenities among the best we had seen, secondly, the plan designs appealed very much to what we were looking for in our dream home, thirdly, the build quality of the homes themselves is top notch, with redundant features designed to keep the home safe and secure. Lakewood Ranch and the surrounding communities also appealed very much to us for its vibrancy, activities and quality of life we experienced when we visited. The whole experience from planning to the actual walk through was absolutely amazing. Our builder was always available and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better/smoother process especially being a first time buyer. Thank you Dave.

We had to make major building decisions within short amount of time allowed.

Not a good quality and unqualified builder

Everyone we dealt with was super nice and did what they could to accommodate us.

Great quality and attention to detail. Our spec house had many upgrades, the most stunning of which is the kitchen. There have been minor issues to be corrected, which have taken more time and effort than we would have liked. But overall, it is a beautiful community, a beautiful home, and the home-buying process was easy.

Home is of average quality. Heating system is poor as temperature is not consistent throughout house. Some rooms are very cold while others are quite warm. Lighting plot is awkward with light switches inconveniently placed. Wall boards are thin and window areas are cold. Pulte seems to cut corners wherever possible.

Still waiting two months for our refrigerator we paid extra for at closing!!!!!!

Sales agent was outstanding, construction managers not so good. They have very poor followup. I say that because in six months we had three of them.

I was impressed that all the target dates were met especially during these Covid times Contractors were always honest and kept me up to date on progress. Over all a very positive experience

Management is not very helpful. Too many people and no one responsible/responsive.

Many people buy here for the Sun City name and life style. Del Webb is stamping out homes and only concerned in profit. The finish work is extremely poor. Ironically, the options we paid for were among the worst! The construction supervisor is in a bad spot as they can't hire or fire workers that don't have a clue to what they are doing. I can't even begin to state all of the problems. We quickly refused to let ANYONE of them inside our home to "fix' or 'go over' anything. Our sales person was misleading and uninformed. The mistakes caused the Title Co. and Mortgage people a lot of grief. We were not sure of our numbers on closing day. We lived out of state and feel we were taken advantage of from sales, construction, and Del Webb. ... More

Builder was very timely to any issues that needed attention

In my opinion, the materials used to build our unit are considerably below my expectation based on the price paid, especially since we upgraded almost everything. I realized that we are not buying just a residence, but rather a way of life, but coming from our old to this new home, the floors, cabinets, etc. are a bit disappointing.

We have built six homes and this house is a nice home but to be honest, some of the quality of the product that we paid top dollar for was very disappointing. The paint for example is the cheapest grade of Sherwin-Williams there is. Had to have the bulk of it touched up and we still need to address some more paint issues. It totally will need to be repainted and the carpet we had to upgrade to is quite chintzy and disappointing. We do not feel we got our moneys worth. We know we paid for the location which we love the community, just wish the home had a little higher end offerings for the price we paid. ... More

Purchase process was helpful and satisfactory Build took 30-45 days longer than estimated. Have been in the house almost 60 days and punch list has not been addressed.

Well built home. I’m really starting to feel at home in the community.

It appears that some materials were not up to the upgrade we thought we would have. Also, due to delays on other items, it appears some work such as carpet installation should have been delayed until the cabinets were installed. Also, having an issue with the upgraded tile we chose for the house. It appears to be substandard and chipping for no apparent reason.

Dan did a great job on keeping us informed of the construction status and updates.

The trim carpentry was poor in some spots. The paint job and chaulking was sloppy. The final cleaning was just OK certainly not real thorough.
