The daily communications from the builder re construction status and techniques were wonderful. We lived in a different state but felt very much a part of the construction activity because of the video messages.

With Pulte it's a one stop process. From the building phase through financing and even homeowners insurance it can all be done through Pulte and their costs and rates are reasonable and competitive in the market place. We have had several Pulte/Del Webb homes and found they build a great home in beautiful developments with great amenities.

We bought a house and didn’t see it until after closing!

Our contact person was really great. He kept us informed every step of the way and was very accessible and helpful.

The quality is very poor, the work is like your getting a starter house, as cheap as you can build. This builder does not take pride in building home, issues after issues. I had mold on wood and this builder would not replace the wood, just cover the wood up. Just lots of cheap materials in house.

Our construction site manager in the Del Webb at Traditions site, Joesph “Joey” Simpson was OUTSTANDING. Throughout the construction process, he kept us informed and we continuously observed the quality taken in building our home.

1. Home is cold, even with double panel windows you can still feel the cold air coming from the window. NOT energy efficient. 2. Complained early on regarding kitchen sink, builder refused to change. 3. Yard uneven and unsafe to walk, not leveled properly prior to sodding. 4. Home not cleaned, paint spackle on floors, faucets, etc. 5. Interior doors show uneven areas with dents, and not painted well. 6. Should paint garage without extra cost. Home floor plans are beautiful, but construction, home energy and landscaping are in need of better quality control.

Working with Ken in sales was really good, he kept us informed about the progress of our home up till it was finished. Our building Supervisor Kohl kept in touch with us on each step of the build and corrected any issues that we had along the way. Right now we're compiling a list of items that need to be corrected and will wait and see how that is handled.

Being on the East coast during the construction was difficult and didn’t have the best updates of construction.

Poor trim materials, lousy paint, lousy finish work (use caulk to try & cover up poor craftmanship). Every time they fixed 2 things, they damaged/broke one other thing. They had to install our wood floors 3 times. I (buyer) was the one to find the errors and installation issues with the floors. Pulte would have sold it to me in poor condition if I had not found all the issues. They do not inspect their contractors' work, and hope that caulk, poor lighting, and quick walk-throughs will get them to the closing process. Their entire management team needs to adopt an old management philosophy - "INSPECT what you EXPECT". My spouse said it best:, " I feel like I purchased an old, used house - not a new house, We will have to repair, replace, re-paint so many things - we should have purchased a used house in better condition". An example: after less than 2 months in the house, the finish on the bathroom sink stoppers is already wearing off (and these were their UPGRADED products). I also spent about 2 weeks sanding and re=painting to cover drips, runs & areas where the paint did not even cover the walls. I knew Pulte's reputation was bad, but had heard they had improved.... Builder was very knowledgeable about all the materials and craft

The Site Manager was the best.

They were right on the time to finish the house and have been very good if I called and something had to be taken care of. I love the house and think I got a very good deal for what I got.

Disappointed in the overall care of community. Light posts not repaired. Fire hydrants not painted. Don’t like the looks of the electrical poles in yards,yet home owners association wants us to take care of our properties.

Realizing everything was as advertised and described. All were friendly and helpful, and we were kept up to date on the progress on the house.

Over all finishing work is less than satisfactory, made a list of things that need to be corrected after 2 weeks , no one has made contact with us after 7 weeks , ,called to see when we could expect some one would be out to our new home, Was told be 3 an a half more weeks , an we have more issues to be corrected . Up graded kitchen cabinets, 3 doors don’t close properly, an 2 drawers don’t close properly , very sloppy painting, spilled pain drops , on our walk through counter tops in kitchen an both baths had a film of dust on them , garage had paint drops every where , concrete finishing work on both patios poor , floor to ceiling glass wall in master shower, water leaks out on to floor . Number one reason to buy Del Webb are its employees and their extradordinary dedication to serving their customers. Number two is their delivery of a product which has value, both interms of dollars as well as quality. Already, we have contacted their warranty department which is highly responsive and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy its obligations to the homeowner.

Our overall experience was very good. Everyone we delt with was very professional. Still waiting on punch list items. We hope they will be done in a timely manner.

Our experience was personal. There was time taken to listen to our needs. This is such a major decision and we were given the time and attention that was needed to complete the process. I would recommend this community to my closest friends and family.

I enjoyed working with the sales department. Working with the field managers can be trying as they like telling and not listening.

Bob Moore our sales person was extremely helpful in our purchasing process. He made us feel completely comfortable and not pressured. The clubhouse, the amenities, the pool and the lifestyle director are what drew us to Tidewater.

Overall good experience. Unfortunately we bought off floor plan. Design center could have been better educated about the unit.

Caring attention to all details of home purchase and treating customers/buyers like family.

If you’re looking for a truly custom home, pick a different builder. If you’re OK choosing from available builder floor plans and available builder design and decor options, then you’ll enjoy your experience. Just don’t ask to move a wall or choose a custom paint color they don’t offer. The answer is,”no.” And if you have any sense of modern style, be prepared to change out every light fixture In the house after closing. The builder options are very bland, even the upgraded ones. The sales team and the construction team are quite friendly and very responsive. But their hands are tied by corporate, when it comes to any nonstandard requests. The neighborhood and neighbors are great, and will make for a fun and comfortable retirement. ... More
