My Sales Representative was exceptionally helpful throughout the whole process and my Construction Manager was beyond exceptional.

Poor workmanship interior of home, dishwasher does not work, poor lawn. Etc..

We are still waiting on matching windows. We are waiting on screens. Some windows have 6 pane grids, some have 4, some have none. Don't match, upper and lower. We do not see variety grids on other homes. Don't know why HOA/ Architectural Review Committee allows errors as such when they are sticklers on remodel application. Sloppy work. Had styrofoam in icemaker. Had plastic wrap INSIDE disposal. Fixed myself. Sink still does not drain well. Sink drain pipe slants INWARD. Gouges in garage concrete, they "will" fix. No magnetic catch on shower doors. They "will" fix. Front, garage door and back door did not have good closure, fixed myself. You could see daylight. Microwave surround and range vent hood had scratches/dents. Replaced by Whirlpool. They are working too fast and not learning from past errors. The dryer vent was corrected before we arrived. Garage overhead door is cheap, noisy. We had requested all brushed nickle hardware, faucets. Sink was chrome. Replaced myself. All quality cupboards/drawers these days should be soft close. Windows should be tilt-in so you can wash them. Ask me again in 2023. ... More

After our purchase and final walk through we found some issues we didn't see during the final walk through. Our bad, I admit. But when they are clearly the result of poor workmanship/installation/attention to detail, they should still be corrected. All we got was "you should of noticed it during your walk through"

The sales and design agents were outstanding. However, the home project manager was severely lacking in basic communication and follow-up. Timelines were promised and missed at every step. Punch list items were not completed on time or as promised. The community is outstanding, but the home building phase is poor.

While we give low marks for responsiveness in general this should NOT be a reflection of our project manager how was excellent

It was very hard to get timelines, status of close date, status of our home, why homes bought after ours were closing weeks before us, etc from project managers. Difficult when we had three project managers. Lack of response when work orders submitted for problems with the house. Final home will be beautiful, when problems resolved. Floor plan is perfect for us.

Pulte is not a custom home builder, they build spec homes. Some options were not available to us because of problems with suppliers. Biggest disappointment was with communication with project manager. Currently dealing with items on repair list.

Do not close on your house until EVERYTHING is complete. Do a in depth inspection. Look at the molding, check the dryer vent hookup, check light fixtures, outlets, etc

Difficult reaching project manager, absolutely no follow through on punch list. When we closed we became invisible. Scheduled exterior paint fixes- no show. Interior scheduled fixes-cancelled date scheduled until we’re not here.

Building a house during a pandemic & supply chain issues presents a unique set of challenges, but there is no excuse for lack of communication. Pulte started more homes than they could handle. Crews get paid by the job so they rush from one house aka job to the next. Needless to say, there’s a lot of sloppy work. Our home took about 5-6 months longer than others started at the same time. The cabinet company used is horrible. After 1 month we are still trying to get issues addressed that would take a handyman a few hours. Workers just don’t show up. And we are doing a lot better than others around here. My best advice is to hire an independent inspector before you close. ... More

The sales process is very deceptive. When you choose a particular package you are not sure what it would look like without the package. All the models are so highly upgraded that you can’t see what your home will look like without the options. Especially with the kitchen package options. This area needs improvement! The workmanship is shoddy. They go through and manufactured homes so quickly that they don’t take pride in their work.

Could have been much better. Completion date was over 3 months later than what was shared upon purchase

Many mistakes had to be caught by me. No quality control during building process.

My experience with the sales agent was not a happy experience. Many times agent was unresponsive to calls or e-mails

Overall the quality of the new home is average, which is better than expected considering the shortages of materials and labor. But there was, and continues to be, no communication both during and after the build process. I would not go through the new home purchase process again.

Felt there was a good deal of misinformation right from buying process & through building process. Fell strongly that overall finishes could be a LOT better. At 80 yrs old, I am not getting down on the floor to clean & scape areas that should have been done for me.

Disappointed with the number of things that needed to be corrected. Instead of being addressed by builder, the home buyer needed to identify these issues and then follow-up with builder to see if they have been addresses.

After many delays in our closing date, almost 5 months, we have closed. Some of the issues we noticed at closing still haven't been addressed and many other small things have been noticed, which were not easily seen. Like shoddy finishing on the spakling, cabinet installation, screens too small to fit windows etc.

I had expected a much better quality home from Pulte and was disappointed in the quality issues found upon move in.

We are still awaiting the delivery of our ordered refrigerator and we have been in our new home for over six weeks. We are also waiting for a replacement dishwasher due to the original being damaged. We have been told on several occasions that the products were going to be delivered and then no follow up from Pulte. This is not acceptable and we are very disappointed with the lack of customer service we have been receiving.

What should have been (per Del Webb’s) tv ads a joyous event became anything but that. Getting answers to questions, pushed to close when jot complete and then getting deficiencies corrected certainly kills the message you advertise. The residents are phenomenal, the experience just short of a nightmare. What happened to the Del Webb vision? BTW we are not in a 40 foot but a 50

I'll never buy or recommend Pulte as a builder. Much of the work was substandard as were the materials used for cabinets, doors and landscaping.

We are still waiting for a list of things to still be done or finish being completed. We have been in our house 3 months and still can’t get all of these things completed. The tile and grout job was so sloppy and the paint job was even worse. There is paint all over my light fixtures, hardware and baseboards. I love my house, but I really wish the quality that we saw in the model homes is what we would have received.

Issues/deficiencies identified at closing are not addressed (and in some cases still not addressed 45 days later). The customer service team takes too long to correct serious issues (badly leaking faucet) if it is deemed to be a non-emergency. The builder is too quick to direct you to their Customer Service group once the keys are handed over. A little flexibility and maybe a short grace period after possession would go a long way and be beneficial. An example, window screens that are delivered (but not installed) should NOT be a customer service issue.
