My sales agent was wonderful and had the perfect personality for her job. She kept me up-to-date on the construction and was most helpful. The construction manager was also helpful and for the most part kept me up-to-date. My negative experiences included the following: my closing date was moved three times requiring that I’ll reschedule movers, utility issues and also renegotiate my rental agreement where I was living prior to moving. Lack of response and communication among the front sales office and field team

Quality homes. The wait to move into our home was not what we were told or expected. Communication among the Pulte Team is poor. Very frustrating. Realize everyone is trying to do their job, but I would not recommend Pulte to a friend. Built 3 houses in our lives and this is by far the worst experience.

You’re signing up for a production line house with a custom price. Don’t expect your house to not have most/all the defects that others have had. Pulte does not appear to improve its methodology as it goes.

Being pushed to close on a house that was not ready

It took 11 months to get into our house, with four casual emails from our sales person extending our timeline out another 2 months. Being desperate to move in we closed despite numerous items that still needed to be addressed. We've not had responses back from anyone since.

Sales team was excellent, design team was excellent but decision by Del Webb to accelerate closing date caused very poor workmanship on the interior. A word to the wise...do not agree to close until all work is completed to your satisfaction.

Del Webb - Our home in Buckeye Festival was built with two A/C.

Our home in Buckeye Festival was built with two A/C. It in Florence they put one. Excuse was unsatisfactory. The Journey has a better system that the Voyage. I feel a mistake was made using old floor plans to build them in Florence and Buckeye builds with newer plans because two A/C are needed. VP for Arizona Jermey is useless and that’s the reputation he has from others that have gone to him with issues. They never provided me a letter from Pulte engineer saying the difference between Buckeye and Florence and why. Also why was this house not upgraded like Journey system? Think a mistake ...

Frustrating and disappointing

The original “field manager” did not know anything about construction or scheduling. Our project (the 7th home that we have built) was a mess. Once he was replaced things went more smoothly. The finished product is satisfactory but not great. Late in the construction process my flat back yard was bulldozed and carved into a drainage ditch. At no time had we been told that this would be necessary for “engineering.” When we have heavy rains the water from up the hill gushes through my back yard washing away pieces of sod and dirt. I have asked that they come out and fix this to no avail!

Tradesmans work quality is lacking. Materials used are low end with top dollar pricing. Repairs usually require a second call back to get it done correctly.

several workmanship issues for new home that were completely unnecessary. there were several almost stupid mistakes and issues that the builder should have seen during the building process. the field manager did a great job to correct them and the warranty department run by a lady here at del web is wonderful, she schedules everything that's needs to be fixed, you can count on her. most members we spoke with were very disappointed with issues in their homes caused from the builder.

The quality of the home does not compare with the previous home that we've had by another builder. The sales and after sales support was not customer oriented. With that said, we bought the home for the area, community, neighborhood and friendliness of the residents, but will not buy again or recommend a Del Webb home to anyone.

Home Build Quality

We moved into the house a few weeks ago. During this time we have noticed multiple cracks in the house. The paint quality in the house is not great. The wall panels in the second bathroom were so thin grab bars could not be installed. We had to pay several thousand dollars to replace the panels and install drywall just to install the grab bar.

Make sure the repairs from Home Inspection have been completed before you sign, because they do not show up even if an appointment is made.

Cuts on trim, drywall and framing not done with precision leaving gaps that should not have been present. The garage was not cleaned despite repeated requests to remove globs of concrete, drywall mud, sawdust and drywall dust. I finally cleaned it myself. Texturing and painting were done haphazardly with blank areas and paint runs.the sprinkler system was not working correctly and required multiple calls to get corrected. The ceramic tile work could of been much better. There are spots that have no grout in. Cable should of been done before the sod was put in. The cleaning crew leaves alot to be desired.

Ian was our GC, he honestly tried to meet all our needs but his hands were tied on alot of issues. We felt Pulte was not flexible at all.

All we can say is make sure all your needs are met before closing. If they are not do not close. You will find Pulte is not a custom builder but a track builder, which is a big difference.

Very hard to get things repaired. My drive is cracked, which I know they did it. And they keep telling me I have to put it in at the 11 month. Why so they can put me off and I have to live with a cracked and cement dropping driveway. I don't believe they will ever fix it. They will keep on putting me off. Surprise!!!! I'm not going away.
