They had a list of items to be fixed. Apparently customer service agent quit and list must have been lost. New agent assigned to take over. I was told to add to list with filling out a ticket. I wasted my time filling out 3 new tickets of simple things to fix (not realizing original things were never included). I’ve been here almost 2months and never heard from anyone to fix anything. But I have received a communication that I can call someone about warranty services. Included in this was websites of about everything that was not included -basically so don’t bother to call.

Eleven months after first starting construction, our new home is still not finished. Getting things done has been extremely difficult. Communication is non-existent. Phone calls, texts and emails go unanswered. An extremely frustrating experience and had we known, we would have looked elsewhere.

Pulte Closes on Unfinished Properties

It has been 6 weeks since I closed and I am still waiting for the issues documented at closing to be fixed. I have gaps in siding, missing trim on cabinets, but the main issue is my property/yard is a hazardous mess of construction trash. I get no response regarding landscaping schedule and clean up, despite emailing sales manager, construction manager or warranty manager. I was made promises that prompted me to close on an unfinished property and now I am being ignored. The building process was the same, no communication about delays unless I was constantly emailing for follow up.

Supervisors couldn’t stay on top of workmanship that was not up to standard: kitchen slide-out drawers failed in the first week as some weren’t assembled properly. Repair on a tray ceiling to make the coffer plumb is still noticeably different color and texture. Floor tiles aren’t level and smooth and I’ve tripped on edges that stick up. I bought the new-build house in progress-not finished , drywalled and I was not permitted to make any changes to the items that weren’t even installed- like the tile floor. If you build with Pulte, in Kimblewick, you better have lots of money and even more patience. This was our 4 new home building experience in the Indianapolis area and it was by far the worst. Have seldom dealt with a more unresponsive company. In their case, “subs” stood for sub-standard. Rarely were any tasks (elements of the home) completed 100% at the time they were started and several important ones still aren’t completed. This builder was unable to keep to timelines. Our closing date was delayed multiple times. The contractors that were hired sometimes did shoddy work that needed to be rectified. We had three construction managers in the course of our build who were not responsive to our requests. We are now almost three months post closing and still have many things not completed including tiling and plumbing of our master shower and painting touch ups in several areas. Worst experience I've had with any company or organization. They stopped working on my house for three weeks with no valid explanation while work was being done on other houses near mine. No flexibility with scheduling. Del Webb's attitude seems to be "my way or the highway." Anyone moving into a Del Webb community should consider buying an existing house.

the workmanship has declined over time trying to get people in ASAP. the workers don't seem to care about doing the job right they just want to do it fast. I think the builder is wasting too much money redoing jobs that should have been done right in the first place. It causes money being lost and bad PR. Very poor workmanship for a high-priced product. What we got wasn't what the model looked like. Although Del Webb stands behind their product and eventually everything will be fixed, the continual no-shows by contractors are doubly disturbing. You would think it would be much better for both Del Webb and the owners if things were done right the first time. Quality Control is definitely lacking.

We signed up for the grand opening sales event, walked thru 3 models and got pricing on those models, but requested info on another model. Despite follow-up emails and phone calls, it took 4 months for someone to get back to us. Needless to say, the prices increased substantially in those 4 months. We’ve had experience with Pulte before and it was good. Pulte today is unresponsive to all the mistakes in the workmanship of these homes. At this point, I’m terribly disappointed in Pulte. It appears that nobody wants to take responsibility.

Incredible lack of attention to detail as a whole. Lack of overall quality in workmanship by almost all of the tradespeople utilized during the build process. Indifference by responsible parties involved in the build process. Overpriced for what we received but that's the crazy market we are in. Thankful to have a new home but would do it differently if we had to do it again. From what we have learned, this is standard operating procedure in a home built by Pulte within Sun City- Georgetown, TX.

Builder gave us a closing date they couldn't keep, so it made it very difficult for us. The construction may have been rushed at the end. There were many missing items and defects which are still being worked on. It has been over a month since closing. The construction manager, however, has been very responsive to our communication.

Many issues still to be dealt with after closing. Spent lots of money for sloppy workmanship as well as unfinished. I think the site supervisor is inundated with many homes and trying to do his best. I have to cobtinousky ask for things to get done. Labor must be hard to come by.

I purchased a home about 5 years ago. At that time, my inspector told me that Pulte was one of the better builders in the area. When he inspected the new house this year, he stated that Pulte's quality was not as good as it used to be.

Get inspections done at pre-drywall, pre-close and 10 months out (just before 1 year warranty is up). I have future neighbors who are experiencing major issues and have brought Pulte management in to review the poor quality.

- Del Web and Ave Maria is as very well thought out with great community planning and outstanding landscaping and amentias. Pre sales and post sales support from local sales office was outstanding!!! -Building process and communications could be better. Overbooked and trades getting sloppy with their workmanship, I suspect because of time crunch. - Quality of workmanship could be better, especially for the cost.
