The design center was a horrible experience although everyone was friendly. I’m a design with my own business for 25 years. I found out after the house was being constructed that I had t seen many options fir such things as doors, cabinet doors etc. I also found the pricing way out of line with the industry .

every detail must be inspected, poor workmanship

Our home purchase at Del Webb in Rancho Mirage, CA has been a great new home buying experience. Having purchased new homes in the past, I had much to compare this experience with. By far, this has been the best new home purchase. The whole process was very organized and low-stress. Highly recommend buying a new home from Del Webb.

I would recommend Pulte as the home builder of choice

They tell you that this home is as close to a custom built home as you can get, what a joke that is. Walls were not square, which means drywall is not square, shotty workmanship, paint spray all over my floors and my appliances which I can’t get off, garage door has gaps around the seals, so we will be fighting keeping the snow out this winter, I requested some special orders on some items and they charged much much more than what I could have bought them myself, I could go on and on. Did not get the quality of home that we expected for the price we paid. Our construction manager did what he could but he could only do so much. I would love to have the people at the top see if they would accept their house in the condition that we did. I would welcome their visit to my home anytime. ... More

Buying experience was great, schedules and estimates were spot on. Quality of house is excellent, with only a few minor issues to be resolved at move in. Would have like some more options on finisher selections, but overall we are happy with our new home.

WE were living 200 miles away during the building process, but were made to feel we were right there with regular updates. The range of design and finish options were terrific and we felt everyone on the Pulte team had our best interests in mind.

Everything went according to the schedule laid out at the start. Problems were small and addressed quickly.

Tom our Field site manager was fantastic and always replied back with 24 hours to my questions.

We are very happy with our home. It seems to be built very well. However, Pulte Homes does a LOUSY job with the lawn. It’s not rolled and it’s so lumpy I’m going to have to have a load of dirt brought in to even it out.

So far a great experience. Few things could be improved on but all in all good experience.

This builder accomplished the time frame we needed to built my house. I sold and closed my house in Summerlake Groves in Winter Garden on Oct 2, 2020 and bought in Del Webb and closed Sept. 29, 2020. Everthing just in time. Thank you Pulte and Danny.

We would have to tell them to buy somewhere else

Every house will have a few issues, but our field manager was very quick to address any concerns we had.

Everything was for the most part was exceptional, however, somethings were neglected

Our sales person was so helpful with our purchase during these trying times.

Sales process was very informative with no pressure. Photos were provided showing weekly progress. Choosing things at the design center was fun and no pressure. Halfway through the build process the field manager gave a tour of the home informing us of the building process.

Our overall experience was outstanding from purchase through our move in.

The experience was less than positive due to lack of information on what to expect, being 1500 miles away and finding out things we should have been made aware of during the purchase AFTER we moved in.

I am curious as to why the model home of the Refuge, which I chose, has two lights built into the ceiling of the second bedroom and I have none. The overall quality of the home is quite good and I’m very happy to be living here.

As a buyer of a Pulte home you must be diligent in keeping up with them from the meeting with the sales office to the completion with the construction manager. *Double check appx. closing date. We were told a date, a date we had to have our house under contract, which left us homeless for 3mo. because the salesperson "made a mistake". They replied it was an appx date but then why didn't they change the contract with when we had to have our house sold by. *Communication is poor at best. Once you sign the contract you soon realize you are just another sale. They do call with updates once a week but if you have questions they rarely have answer. They will say they will check but then they don't get back with you. *We did not realize with all the houses being built that the people building the homes were not Pulte employee's. Because Pulte uses sub contractors we were told by our contractor it is out of their hands if the subcontractors work. They don't make them as they just move on if they don't like what's going on. *Their is no pride in workmanship. Sloppy painting, shortcuts, urinating in the drains (which didn't seem to even phase the sales office or contractors) even though there are port a toilets all around. Submitted list of 35 items still needing attention. If you don't keep on them, you will not get them addressed. Pulte is full of excuses. Called my contractor yesterday and James the warranty person with no response yet. I love our home, where we live, the community but should have not bought a Pulte home. We knew their track record from Colorado but were assured Pulte had improved and was not like that in San Antonio. Several times we wanted to back out but could not afford to loose our down payment. Our closing date went from 6/25 to 7/25 to 8/5 to 8/12 and finally closed on 8/31. This cost us $6,000 dollars extra for plane tickets, storage, hotels, rent, gas etc. *We were told by our salesperson we would be compensated for 3 nights hotel before we closed. We still have not received that money. Make sure you check every document, every repair needed and make sure this is who you want building your home. ... More
