We had a good experience with this purchase. However, much of the workmanship and design is contractor grade. We had to spend more than we expected to bring the quality up to designer home category.

I purchased a spec home and there were a few issues that were supposed to be fixed before closing. When I arrived the morning of closing they were not completed but I was told the would be completed asap. Since closing, I have had promises the issues will be fixed but they have not been completed at this time, 5 weeks after moving into my new home.

Small problems (two doors don't latch), but the house is lovely. Del Webb has a great interior design center.

Missing items and small defects have been taken care of promptly.

Everyone from Pulte was excellent and extremely professional in every aspect of our purchasing our new home from Del Webb in Sun City Hilton Head-Bluffton, SC.

Good selection of models. Good communication from purchase through warranty work. Jacob was very good at keeping us updated with information and photos. He was accomodating to our requests to visit with some after market vendors prior to closing. Angie checked in out us and our progress. Nikki was so very helpful and patient on our selection day. Getting options in advance was very helpful. Your new selections available in January were what helped make our decision. We wanted the space but not a second floor. The issues we have found after closing so far has been fixed to our satisfaction and in a very timely manner. Make sure you like the neighborhood

Have only been here for about 6 weeks, but so far I am very pleased. Just wish COVID would stop interfering with activity.

We built in Tidewater, Estero, Florida. Great experience with the Pulte staff. The product is excellent.

Plan on going over budget at design center

The builder team was very good.

Project Manager was on-top of everything and provided weekly updates with pictures. Access to the "build web site" is especially helpful in keeping updated on the progress of the build.

Love, love, love my new house! However, beware if you are buying a lot in a brand new phase of the neighborhood. It has been a NIGHTMARE trying to get deliveries to my house...no one can find it on GPS....there is another street in Del Webb with the same name, but different suffix . My street name was changed after move-in, which has been frustrating to have to change it with utilities. AT&T internet was not available until after I moved in. Still waiting on street lights....

We signed the contract to build our home in late February pre-pandemic. Despite the COVID challenges, our home was completed on time. There remain a few issues to be resolved, but for the most part everyone has been responsive.

Everything went smoothly.

From contract to closing process was smooth and easy. Sales Rep was fantastic! He knows the business well. A lil more attention to detail by the different trades during construction could have eliminated a lot of warranty work that is now being completed. The cleaning crew before closing was disappointing.

Consider that you will need to invest a substantial amount in options/upgrades.

Please hire authorize inspector to examine home for possible areas that need proper completion. Close on selected property only when all items completed.

When adding on your options watch out for what I call creeping elegance. Your 300000 dollar house can become 400 real quick.

Quality products still being offered on home construction. However their workmanship level has diminished when it comes to actual installation of those products. Built a home in same community five years ago and had absolutely no issues during construction phase. With the second home built in 2020, had to constantly bring up issues during construction; missed options, options I did not select, quality of installations on tile, drywall, cabinets, etc. Very, very different unexpected experience. I chose to come back to Sun City Peach Tree because of the first building experience so was completely taken by surprise on this second build. Make sure you ask a lot of questions prior to buying. Most of finishes and details are standard and very basic. You need to negotiate for upgrades.

Although no complex endeavor comes out 100% correct the first time, we are impressed with the builder's responses to correct the relatively minor issues we've discovered.

We've only been in our house for now 45 days. We love the overall set up for the house but there have been issues. To Del Webb's credit it seems they are trying to resolve the remaining items we have as respects construction errors. However, we seem to find more errors or stuff not working each week. These are not major items (a faulty electrical plug and an obstruction in the wall for flat screen) but they are annoying and makes you wonder what else is hiding behind a wall. I'm sure they will ultimately get corrected but your fast track process and quality control could be better. You're design for the floor electrical outlet outlet could also be better. It's a grounded plug outlet but it's not deep enough to accept a plug. The cover will not close and must be left off once a plug is inserted. We're still waiting on a replacement door for the lanai (2 months) along with 2 replacement draws for some cabinets we were promised. We still don't even have a registration code for the neighborhood HOA portal. We were told we would receive it within 30 days (also now at 45 days). ... More

Our home is well built and we love the design and extras. Issues arising during construction were handled professionally and promptly. I also felt that we could trust the construction team and received feedback during the process. It is important to stay in close communication with Construction Manager.
