I have lived in my new home for 5 weeks. I'm happy with the quality and workmanship. There were a few issues but they were minor. I would recommend Del Webb to my friends.

Love my new home and am very pleased with it. Have found a few minor issues with our new home but they were either quickly fixed or we fixed them ourselves. Truly believe it is a great benefit to be close while the house is being built and check on it at least once a week. We found several issues during the building that were quickly fixed. If they had not been pointed out by us would they have been caught in time to fix or caught at all? It appears at times that the subcontractor is more concerned with just completing the task and moving on the next house vice actually caring for the quality of his work. ... More

We love our new home in Del Webb at Chateau Elan! While the neighborhood is still under construction, every effort is taken to provide comfort and convenience for current homeowners while continuing to make new home buyers' dreams come true! The amenities here are spectacular and the staff here is the friendliest on the planet! We've met new friends and are learning new sporting activites, as well! Can't say enough good things about our experience. Would highly recommend!

Price paid exceeds home assessment.

Although we gave a good review originally, after more than a month of living here, we are now extremely disappointed. It took way too long to start building and then it seems Del Webb rushed to complete. From the beginning, Del Webb's sales staff would only contact us after we contacted them. No updates were forthcoming until we called them. Fast forward to after closing, we hired painters to paint the bedrooms, den, and bathrooms and found the workmanship of Del Webb, in association with the walls, abysmal - incomplete (gap between top of door and drywall), did not sand mud and painted over it, gobs of caulk not smoothed out, pockmarked and dents everywhere. The building and warranty managers told us we should have never used eggshell paint because it would show too many flaws. Well we weren't expecting such poor workmanship! The drywall people came (3 days) to try and fix everything but short of starting all over (hanging new drywall), it was a futile endeavor. To top it all off, we paid extra money to have smooth walls; it was a builder's upgrade. We requested a refund, but never heard back from the salesman (no surprise there). We just hope that Del Webb's poor workmanship doesn't show up in anything else but only time will tell. In summary, Del Webb's abysmal workmanship cost us more time and money to try to correct their mistakes. ... More

Outstanding builder and community.

The house is build very fast, their schedule for building the house is excellent. You almost can program your move in.

Had warranty issues from day 1 from appliances to electric to plumbing. Little response from warranty department with no urgency until we escalated to supervisors in charge. Very disappointed in our experience to date.

When we had a question we often did not receive a call back ASAP.

First of all, let me be clear. Karl, our field manager, was the BEST ever. He was did his best in trying to schedule the trade men to tackle the items needing attended - by there was and still is a delay in getting things done. He bent over backwards for us. We paid a lot of money for our wood floors; probably way more than if we would have done it ourselves from a separate flooring company. But, I wanted to file a claim, the floor representative came out and said indeed there are many issues and would get it fixed - but have not heard anything. Not sure why Pulte uses a whole panel screen for the lanai - the screen comes undone so easily and repairs will be needed after each heavy wind. Should be a better way of installation and/or product. There should be more customer customizations while making choices - not just a cookie cutter and that’s the way it is. ... More

This is my third new home. What a difference from the others! All the folks at Pulte were courteous, quick to respond to my questions and made this the easiest purchase ever. It was such a pleasure! The community is gorgeous and the amenities are great. And my home...just wow! All the extras make this home such a great value. Thank you!

Does not get any better than this.

This was the first house we built. The construction manager - Chris P. was FANTASTIC and frankly saved it for us. We wound up having to settle for some stuff we did not want and did not get some things we had wanted.

OUR sales representative was excellent and co-operative in every phase our home building process.

The construction process was very pleasant and builder was very competent.

Check all doors, cabinets and garage doors. Too many chips, cracks and spaces in cabinets walls etc. Noises when closing the garage door. When you do the walk through, prior to signing, take the time to look carefully at the entire home. If you see inferior quality workmanship and the poor condition of doors and cabinets, say so.

I was told from day one that this was a production build and that Pulte would not make accommodations for individual buyers. That was absolutely the case, without exception. I have never worked with such an unyielding builder. The quality of the workmanship is subpar and the field manager was unwilling to fix the problems. I have had the opportunity to speak with many neighbors now and they have all had the same experience.

It is a good experience...our saleslady missed giving us some of the available options, but overall we are very pleased with our new home. It is not a custom house..we understood that going in but able to fulfill our needs in most ways. Our builder manager did an excellent job and was easy to work with. Our only complaint was that there were some options we did NOT want, but not taking them was NOT an option. I find this strange as it costs them time, labor and material...we then took them out after we moved in...this is a lose-lose in my opinion. Good builder walk throughs. Responsive to post move in issues

I understand they have changed the 10 year warranty to now homeowners have to pay labor on the products. Del Webb has been a disappointment in several ways unfortunately. I don’t see how these surveys matter I don’t believe Pulte really cares!
