I like my home overall. I cannot believe the low quality of the front door to my home. You can seer light coming in around it. My building manager was scheduled to come back after closing to work on it, but did not show up. I have not yet had time to contact warranty. It is a very poor quality installation and a very low quality product to begin with. I am also unhappy with the sod installation in my back yard. Overall we are enjoying our home with the above noted exceptions.
Del Webb responded:
We're sorry to hear about the issues with your sod and front door and if you need assistance submitting a service request, we'd be happy to help! Please email us at socialcare@pultegroup.com. --Sarah

Options overly expensive. Punch list items still working on a month later. All 2 by 4 construction with wide spacing in ceiling so attic can’t be used for storage.

we were supposd to close on 4/19/2019 but because pulte forgot to get a certificate of occupancy they called on 4/18/2019 at 2pm and said we would would close on 4/24/2019 that gave us a day and a half to move from the house we sold to move here.the floor in the second bedroom has moisture under the wood floor so they had to tear out my new floor and today on 5/29/2019 we are waiting to get our wood floor put back down.

Homes are nicely designed with a nice layout. However, some of the materials and workmanship are not very good. The paint quality and workmanship along with the drywall mudding is very poor. I repainted and had to fix many areas that were not smoothed properly and there was dirt in the paint that had to be scraped smooth. I was told once I took possession, I could prepare a list of items needing repair and submit for resolution. I created a list of about 14 items that, to date, have only had 2 items repaired. When I took possession of the home, the driveway cement couldn't be poured due ...

We were pleased with Pulte Homes especially Tom D but very displeased with our Del Webb Agent, Diane A. We had very little interaction with her- she did not return calls and complained a lot about her personal life and how busy she was at work. Once she knew we wanted the house, she became invisible. She did not help us through any of the process including things that could have been done prior to closing on the house. We had friends here last week who were interested in Del Webb too. We told them DO NOT deal with Diane A.

Del Webb sells a community, and the house is the least valuable part of your purchase. House designs provide options, but the finished house is of only average quality. Ultimately you are merely another purchaser, a small fish in a big pond, and the bureaucracy can be overwhelming. In the end, it really is just a house. The community and amenities can shine, so prepare to find your satisfaction there. Along the way take the time to be certain all details are accurately set forth in your agreements. No sales reps comments hold any value unless confirmed in writing. Any mistakes - even denials ...

I have had 4 out of 6 appliances worked on already, and even though we paid top of the line price, they aren’t top of the line. I have had 4 warranty visits where I was sitting and waiting and no one showed up. The house isn’t wired for a separate switch for the fan in rooms set up for a ceiling fan and light - you have to use the pull chain. You can’t choose to put in extra outlets or say where you would like them on a wall. They planted a Live Oak within 6 feet of our swimming pool, and now we’re going to have to go through the struggle of getting permission to change it out for something ...

We're not too sure if we'd buy another Pulte home or move into another Del Webb neighborhood. The home was "finished" on time, but we did the final celebration walkthrough in a dirty, unfinished house. The baseboards are in terrible shape, there are doors that need to be replaced due to damage, the Sherwin Williams paint is cheap, the granite in the kitchen needs to be replaced (per the granite company) but haven't been able to get this resolved. The oven wasn't working and after 3 attempts by KitchenAid to repair it,they decided it was electrical and not the oven. My brother in law found ...

Mixed Feelings about home purchase

The builder put up the home pretty fast. There were definitely more workmanship issues then I could keep up with during the process. Yet, our field manager was pretty easy to deal with and very responsive. Now that we are in our warranty, the response time for problems has slowed greatly. Also, some of the fixes that were performed during the construction process we’re still not done to my expectation. They keep talking about the 11 month review to fix things. I feel like there’s a push to delay things and then if they don’t get fixed right you will be without recourse. Given the price ...

Some of this is communication. I may call to check up on an issue and find someone is coming out but I didn't know it since I didn't need to be there. I get shuffled person to person on follow-up. Follow-up is not timely. I can handle scheduling for the future but I need to know and not be left with the impression someone will respond right away.

The workmanship in our home is, to be polite, poor. Paint spatters on the floors in every room in the house. Out of square walls. Doors that don't fit the frames. These are just a few of the issues we have had with this house. We never heard from our salesman again after the contract was signed. Overall this was not the experience we had looked forward to. It's not likely that we would ever buy another Pulte home.

Asked very specific questions regarding home, was given “sales” answers - fail on both. Workman ship is sloppy - when you pay for upgrades I would expect they be handled by experienced workers - no pride in their work. Break an ankle walking across my own lawn it’s do in level…. If only we could turn back the clock should have stayed in Latitude Margaritaville

I am really disappointed by the really cheap finishes that were sold to me as “upgrades”. The lack of attention to detail is astonishing. My construction manager told us that the shoddy work was “within their specifications”. When I asked to see the specifications, he told me that he didn't have them. After closing, every neighbor that I met has had complaints about their homes. We are making the most of our decision and investment — thank goodness for nice neighbors!

Everything was good in the beginning. We live in Colorado and are buying a new home in Ocala, Florida. Felt like we were rushed through the walk through and didn't really get a chance to look at the house throughly. We have issues with the house but unfortunately have not moved to Florida yet so we are having issues getting repairs needed. There is a wall on a pocket door which may need to be rebuilt. We have some tile which needs to be replaced. Construction was eager to move us along and only concerned about getting a good review but not really wanting to help us. We love the ...

Buying experience was pretty good. Closing was a joke. Del Webb/Pulte employees stood over us encouraging us to give everyone a 10. The trades who worked on our home were awful and extremely sloppy. Pulte said the windows in homes were hurricane proof, double pain with vinyl frames. We got hurricane proof only. Neighbors are filing a class action suit against Pulte.

The homes are put up quickly and often times things are overlooked r just not finished. Beware every little thing adds up quickly so it is easy to add $50,000+ to your home quit even noticing. You will spend extra of your own money fixing the shoddy taping in the garage and repainting as the paint quality is very inferior. The homes are crowded in and it seems that every inch of space is filled. However, the facilities are too small for the number of homes and they will never be able to hold events for the entire community which makes getting to know people hard. If the tell you there will be ...
